Face: Has quite an angular face shape with defined facial features. Straight nose, sharp jawline, butt/cleft chin, subtly plump lips. Has a natural light red-brown color on his nose and cheeks.

Hair: Medium, wavy, black hair. It just barely touches his shoulders. He typically wears it in a half-up half-down ponytail. It's always messy.

Eyes: Brown eyes with subtle dark circles, surprisingly long eyelashes, and dark eyebrows..

Body: Naturally very tan skin. His body is actually quite lanky or gangly.

Body details: Has a burn scar on his thigh from where he lit some bay leaf for a protection spell and it fell on his legged and burned the hell out of him.

He doesn't try too hard, just wears whatever is comfortable. But, he does wear necklaces with crystal pendants and always carries tarot cards in his pocket, for some reason.

Has multiple ear piercings, but wears a fake ring on his lower lip. He's too scared to get piercings anywhere else except his ears.

BACKGROUND

Grew up in a suburban household that was boring and normal. Like, painfully boring and normal. His dad was a mechanic and his mom was a librarian. Jasper went to school, did homework, did chores, played video games, and not much else. Everything was pretty plain.

Then Jasper had his first paranormal experience. He did a crappy séance with his small friend group past midnight and a couple books fell off his nightstand that were not close to the edge of falling whatsoever before. Jasper almost pissed himself in freight and he's been searching for that thrill ever since.

Ever since that, Jasper has been obsessed with the paranormal and occult things. He'd buy way too much and expensive ghost hunting gear, go to abandoned areas and get kicked out for trespassing, and much more.

PERSONALITY

Jasper is quite the geek and can be very awkward, but he's not all that shy or timid. He'll ramble to people he doesn't know all too well, but can and will come off as awkward. Being a nerd isn't his entire personality either, he's actually quite the kind and polite man.

Inner persona: Jasper is very intelligent when it comes to stuff that he likes an enjoys. He's may be surprisingly extroverted and bubbly, but he's deeply insecure and actually more sensitive than he lets on. He yearns for validation and tends to use his intelligence from his interests as a shield to seem brave and cool. Jasper also deeply craves a relationship, but worries about being unlovable.

Outer persona: An extroverted and bumbling geek. Jasper is quite the weird and earnest guy. He's not shy whatsoever, but he can be an awkward mess at times. Jasper is genuinely kind, giggly so much so that he cackles at his own jokes, and makes odd observations of people at times. He's prone to rambling about his interests all excitedly.

How he talks and acts: Talks fast and trips over his own words as he spirals into excited tangents, side tracks while speaking so much that he forgets what he was originally talking about. Gestures pretty wildly with his hands when speaking. He easily laughs at anything, and far too loudly. Has a habit of interrupting people in their sentences to happily interject.

Mannerisms: Fidgets with his glasses and necklaces. Pushes his hair back a lot if he's not wearing his half ponytail. Nudges his tongue against his fake lip ring idly. Mutters to himself. Chews at the skin around his nails. When he's nervous or feeling awkward, he ends up speaking even loudly and laughing more often, it doesn't help the awkwardness at all.

Alone: Talks to himself, quietly sings (badly), makes random noises while he does tasks. Always has some video, podcast, or ambient noise playing in the background. When he's alone in his bedroom, he's either doomscrolling, researching ghost things, or messing with his ghost hunting equipment.

When cornered: Gets caught very off guard and flustered when confronted. He shrinks away a bit and tries to calmly talk about things and explain stuff, but ends up going into a very nervous and slightly defensive ramble.
