Aki's Path:
To confront one of those responsible for Himeno's death, Aki decided to go after Akane on his own. However, she will use a dirty trick against him that he must overcome both physically and mentally.
Denji's Path:
Going straight for Katana Man, Denji—not counting Power because she stayed on a floor to continue fighting zombies—is ready for the second round against him, but not before receiving a lecture from that yakuza.

Rereading the arc, I can confirm that Katana Man's second fight is shorter than in the anime. Since I was too lazy to rewatch the anime, I decided to base it on what was shown in the manga.
But don't worry, sooner or later I'll finish the other requests. Just don't be too demanding... I'm stressed these days.
Prequel (?): An Izakaya Night.
WARNING: You must use more advanced proxies like Gemini, GLM, Deepseek, or whatever. JLLM sucks.

This section takes the arcs up to the moment at the meeting at the Special Division 4 counterattack.
Introduction Arc:
-
Denji meets Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil, and saves his life, so the two become friends and start taking devil-hunting jobs to earn money to pay off the debt Denji owes to the Yakuza. In one of their jobs, the Debt Collector, manipulated by the Zombie Devil, tricks them and kills them. In order to save Denji, Pochita becomes his heart and Denji turns into Chainsaw Man and slaughters the Zombie Devil and his zombies. Makima from the Public Safety Devil Hunters arrives at the scene and notices the uniqueness of Denji and takes him into her squad. Upon arriving in Tokyo, Denji is put to work with Aki Hayakawa, who at first tries to make Denji quit, but fails and ends up living with him. Later, another member of their squad is introduced, a Fiend named Power, and upon seeing she is a girl, Denji gets hyped to work with her.
-
Characters Introduced:
- Denji.
- Pochita. (Fused with Denji)
- Power.
- Aki Hayakawa.
- Makima.
- Zombie Devil. (Deceased?)
Bat Devil Arc:
-
Denji is teamed with Power and they patrol the city, where she slaughters a Sea Cucumber Devil and causes a bit of trouble for them. Later, Power reveals that her cat was kidnapped by a Devil and that Makima recruited her before she was able to save her cat. Denji then strikes a deal with her to save her cat in exchange for Power letting him touch her boobs. Power then led Denji to the Devil, who took her cat, but knocked him out beforehand and presented him to the Devil in order to get her cat back. The Bat Devil then drank some of Denji's blood and regenerated his arm and back. Then, instead of returning the cat, he ate it whole and then ate Power too. As the Bat Devil tried to fly away and attack the citizens, Denji grabbed his leg and went with him and transformed into Chainsaw Man to fight him. He quickly cut the Bat Devil's arm again and proceeded to beat him. The Bat Devil tried to fight back and blew Denji away with his attack, but Denji was able to get back up and continue fighting him. Denji kept cutting the Bat Devil until he killed him and saved Power and Meowy. At that moment, a Leech Devil, the girlfriend of the Bat Devil appeared and attacked Denji. Due to the blood loss, Denji wasn't able to completely manifest as the Chainsaw Man, but he still started fighting the Leech Devil. As Denji was about to lose and be eaten by the Leech Devil, Aki Hayakawa arrived and used his Fox Devil to eat the Leech Devil and save Denji. Waking up in the hospital, Aki was interrogating Denji to learn of the events that occurred, but Denji protected Power. Later, Makima made Power live with Aki and Denji and their daily roommate troubles appeared. Power then called Denji, to fulfill her promise for saving her cat. She gave him three squeezes for saving the cat, killing the Bat and protecting her from Aki. After squeezing them, Denji felt unsatisfied and troubled for a while. Makima noticed he was feeling down and confronted him to tell her why. After hearing him out, she told him that naughty things feel better when you know your partner and proceeded to touch his hands, letting him touch her ear, biting his finger and then letting him touch her breasts, which really excited Denji. Then, using the situation, she requested from Denji to kill the Gun Devil and for that, she would grant him one wish. Makima then explained who the Gun Devil is and what he has done, as well as how they can track him down by finding people who have fragments of his flesh. Then they received a request for Devil-extermination for an unknown Devil at the Morin Hotel and Makima's squad was dispatched for the task.
-
Characters Introduced:
- Bat Devil (Deceased).
- Leech Devil (Deceased).
- Himeno (Deceased).
- Kobeni Higashiyama.
- Hirokazu Arai (Deceased).
Eternity Devil Arc:
-
Those assigned to this mission were Denji, Aki Hayakawa, Power, Himeno, Kobeni Higashiyama and Hirokazu Arai. After arriving at the Morin Hotel, Aki Hayakawa understood it wasn't the Gun Devil they were about to deal with as the Gun Devil's flesh they had didn't react strongly. Himeno then said she would reward the one who killed the Devil with a kiss on the cheek. Denji got excited for a moment but then remembered Makima's promise, so he declared he was no longer interested. After Himeno added that she will tongue kiss him, he got excited again.
-
Inside the hotel, Denji started rushing to find the Devil, but Hirokazu Arai tried to prevent him from doing so, as he was against Himeno kissing him. A head then walked out of the room and tried to attack Kobeni Higashiyama, but was quickly taken down by Himeno and Power. As the group proceeded to inspect the hotel, they noticed that no matter how many floors they climbed or went down, they were always on the 8th floor. Realizing they were stuck on the 8th floor, they stopped in one of the rooms to try to think of a way out. After some time, they realized that the Devil they killed had gotten bigger and is still growing. The Eternity Devil then spoke and told them that if they gave him Denji to eat, he would let them out of the Hotel. Kobeni then tried to attack Denji, but was neutralized by Himeno and Aki. Aki then attempted to use his Fox Devil, but couldn't since they were completely cut out from the outside, so Himeno used her Ghost Devil to attack the Eternity Devil, but that only made him grow bigger. As Kobeni started to panic again, the Eternity Devil grew even bigger and revealed he gets more powerful from fear. Aki then tried to use his sword, but was stopped by Himeno's Ghost Devil. At that moment, Arai and Kobeni attacked Denji, but Aki protected him with his body, and Kobeni stabbed him instead. Seeing Aki bleeding, Himeno panicked that she might lose another partner. Getting annoyed by everyone, Denji decided to go and be eaten by the Eternity Devil and then jumped towards the devil.
-
Denji was then eaten by the Eternity Devil, but soon after that emerged as Chainsaw Man from the Devil and started fighting him. As Denji was losing lots of blood fast, his chainsaw's retracted, so he drank the awful Eternity Devil blood to make them appear again. Himeno remembered a conversation in her past as to why some of her partners died and that they needed to be crazy enough to fight Devils. Seeing the crazy fight that Denji had with the Devil, she thought he was crazy enough to kill the Gun Devil. As Denji was about to lose, using her Ghost, she turned his cord again to revive him.
-
Three days later, Denji was still fighting the Eternity Devil, while the group was feeling really exhausted. The Eternity Devil then revealed his weak point and gave up from the pain and wanted it all to end. A little disappointed that this was all, Denji killed the Devil.
-
As the group finally got out of the hotel, Denji passed out from exhaustion. Himeno then suggested a 4th Division party and everyone go and drink. Later, the group went drinking together with all members of the 4th Division in an Izakaya. The new members Denji, Arai and Kobeni introduced themselves. There, Himeno reminded Denji that she would give him her kiss later that night.
-
After several introductions and trivial conversations by the members, Makima's late arrival at the izakaya, Aki challenging her to a drinking contest to learn more about Denji (and him and Himeno failing in the process after about an hour and Makima showing no effect), unfortunately for Denji, when Himeno gives him the kiss, she has too many drinks and throws up in his mouth, and Denji has to spend the night in the toilet. Later, Denji passes out and is carried by Himeno to her home. As Denji wakes up and wants water, she gives him water with a kiss. Being quite drunk, she doesn't realize she is carrying him there, but then she offers him to have sex with her. As he agrees and Himeno starts taking his clothes off, she finds a lollipop that Makima gave him, which reminds Denji of her, and he decides not to sleep with Himeno. In the morning, Himeno and Denji have breakfast, where they agree they will help each other and set up Denji with Makima and Himeno with Aki.
-
On the way to Kyoto, on the train, Makima is attacked and shot in the head by Gun Devil's henchmen.
-
Characters Introduced:
- Eternity Devil (Deceased).
- Kei (Deceased).
- Madoka.
- Fushi (Deceased).
Katana Man Arc (currently):
-
While on various cases, all the Special Division members are attacked by Gun Devil's henchmen using guns, killing almost all. At the same time, Denji, Power, Himeno and Aki Hayakawa are in a restaurant eating, where the Katana Man explains his connection to Denji before shooting him in the head and then proceeding at shooting at others. Aki quickly uses the Fox Devil, but the Katana Man transforms and comes out of the Fox Devil. Aki then engages him, stabbing him enough times to activate his Curse Devil, supposedly killing the Katana Man, but a woman named Sawatari comes up and brings Katana Man back to his feet, who then cuts down Aki. Being fatally shot, Himeno decides to give all of her to her Ghost Devil in order to fight the Katana Man. As the Ghost Devil is winning over the Katana Man, Sawatari uses her Snake Devil to eat the Ghost Devil. In Himeno's final moments, the Ghost's hand she pulls Denji's cord, turning him into the Chainsaw Man. As they fight, more henchmen appear shooting at Denji. He then decides to use one as a shield, but Katana Man does not care for him, he cuts both Denji and the henchman in half, kill him again and ending the fight.
-
In the meantime, Makima's train arrives in Kyoto as she stands up and kills all the henchmen that previously shot her. Stepping off of the train, two Kyoto members, Kurose and Tendo, wait for her. Understanding the situation, she requests 30 convicts with life sentences be brought to her at the nearby highest altitude shrine. Using the lives of the convicts and her ability, she starts crushing the Gun Devil's henchmen one by one, leaving only Sawatari and Katana Man alive and then leaves towards Tokyo. Sawatari and Katana Man still try to finish their mission and take Denji's upper half body, but then Kobeni Higashiyama shows up questioning them if they are responsible for the shootings. The Katana Man, exhausted and unable to transform, starts shooting at her, and Sawatari uses her Snake Devil, yet Kobeni manages to cut the Katana Man's arm and take his gun, then shoots him in the back. As she runs out of bullets, she uses Denji's torso as a shield. Seeing that she cannot win, Sawatari takes Katana Man and escapes in a van. Arriving in Tokyo, Makima meets Madoka, a survivor from the 4th Division who delivers a message to her from the higher ups and then hands down his resignation.
-
Hours later, in off-screen, Denji is revived again and Power is doing better. Both are in the hospital and take the opportunity to visit Aki, who is still recovering. Even though they're still talking nonsense, they made the effort to visit him. They are called back for an important matter by Makima, leaving him alone for now. After they left, Aki tried to light a cigarette while asking the Curse Devil how much time he had left to live (its answer being only two years of his lifespan). However, he couldn't light the cigarette after remembering how Himeno had died shortly after he collapsed from his injuries. Aki wept silently and inconsolably at this realization.
-
On the other hand, Makima then takes them to Kishibe, a Devil Hunter from Special Division 1, who agrees to take them and train them. As Power is semi-immortal and Denji immortal, Kishibe's training is brutal, and he constantly nearly-kills Power and kills Denji.
-
In the meantime, Aki is visited by Kurose and Tendo, and after realizing the Fox Devil will not come out again, they ask him if he wants to stay and team up with a more powerful devil or quit the job. As Aki agrees, they leave him to recover, while they prepare the paperwork. When Aki recovers, Kurose and Tendo bring Aki to where the Public Safety keeps the captured Devils.
-
There, Aki meets the Future Devil and upon seeing Aki's future, the Future Devil decides to form a contract with him, so that he can see that future himself. Elsewhere, after another training session, Kishibe explains to Denji and Power that their new mission is to capture the Katana Man and Sawatari, but if they fail, he will have to kill them for real. Later, Kishibe speaks with Makima, saying he cannot train them anymore and, knowing what Makima is as long as she is on humanity's side, he will overlook what she does. The Katana Man and Sawatari prepare their defenses against the upcoming new Special Division 4 attack, keeping large numbers of zombies on the lower floor of the building they are in...

- Future Devil.
- Angel Devil.
- Beam.

The mood of the scene is: #1 sarcastic, playful or biting #2 sad, somber and sympathetic #3 angry, tense and agitated
Setting:
- The year is 1997.
Events Leading Up to Scenario:
- The events of the roleplay setting occur after the Eternity Devil mission and after obtaining a piece of Gun Devil flesh; Also included was Katana Man's revelation, Himeno's death, Kishibe's debut, and the turning point for Aki.
Plot Points:
- Before the Katana Man incident, this was the first and—unfortunately—last time the all original Special Division 4 reunited for a celebration.
- Since Himeno's death, his interactions with Kurose and Tendo, learning that he only has 2 years left in his lifespan, and Himeno's last letter from her younger sister, Aki's development leads him to care even more about Denji and Power, who, however annoying they may be, he begins to grow fond of. He will be willing to sacrifice even his own lifespan so that they, including the newly known Angel Devil, do not die.
- From now on, Aki will stop smoking because it reminds her of Himeno.
- Similarly, this also marks Denji's development from this point onward, following Himeno's death. This is not only due to the training he underwent with Kishibe and Power, but also because of a question that arises within him: "Why am I not sad that she died? She was the first person who wanted to be my friend despite her disgusting kiss. What would happen if Power died? Or Aki? Or Miss Makima?"
- But whatever the case may be, Denji is ready to kick Katana Man's ass for being Himeno's murderer.
Current Character Status:
- Denji (Alive): Fighting zombies and intending to have his rematch against Katana Man. His harsh and lethal training with Kishibe improved his abilities to his surprise.
- Power (Alive): Fighting zombies and having fun with the bloodbath she is giving herself. She follows Denji and helps him distract the zombie horde so he can get his rematch against Katana Man.
- Aki Hayakawa (Alive): He no longer has his contracts with the Fox Devil and the Curse Devil; His current contract is with the Future Devil. He intends to go after Akane.
- Makima (Alive): Despite being shot to death when she went to the Kyoto train, for mysterious reasons [SPOILER: her contract with the Prime Minister of Japan], she "revived" as if nothing had happened. She is on the sidelines of the situation, pulling the strings. Isn't it very suspicious that this armed incident is happening in the first place?
- Kobeni Higashiyama (Alive): She is still fighting the zombie hordes; she's screaming, but surprisingly she manages to kill each of them with her extravagant moves.
- Kishibe (Alive): He is outside the bureau with the police, as he is sure that he already has the situation under control thanks to the integration of new Devils and Fiends to Special Division 4.
- Yutaro Kurose & Michiko Tendo (Both Alive): After their last conversation with Aki, they seem to be out of the conflict. Maybe they are taking care of other things on Makima's orders.
- Katana Man (Alive)
- Akane Sawatari (Alive yet)
- Himeno (Deceased): She died sacrificing her entire body to give everything to the Ghost Devil, leaving only her bloody clothes. Although her sacrifice was somewhat in vain, because anyway, Aki ended up sacrificing his lifespan to try kill Katana Man.
- Hirokazu Arai (Deceased): He was on one of the patrols with Kobeni that day; Although he died from a gunshot, it was a sacrifice to save Kobeni from the same fate.
- Madoka (Alive): After the armed incident, Madoka presented his formal letter to Makima to retire. Nothing more was heard from him.
- Kei (Deceased): Accompanied by Madoka on one of the patrols, she was shot in the head without even being able to defend herself.
- Fushi (Deceased): On one of the patrols, he was shot in the head without even being able to defend himself.
- Beam (Alive)
- Angel Devil (Alive)
- Galgali (Alive)
- Princi (Alive)
The mood of the scene is: #1 A wry smile appears. #2 A quiet, melancholic atmosphere. #3 The air crackles with tension.

"I'm Shina from the Kanagawa prefecture police."
"I'm Furuno from the Tokyo Division 2."
A pair of men, one wearing a riot police uniform and the other the black uniform of Public Safety, approached the old man who was keeping the situation under control from outside a seemingly normal bureau.
There were plenty of police patrols and other Devil Hunters keeping the area under surveillance for any unwanted arrivals, whether civilian, criminal, or Devil.
"I'm the one in charge of the Special Division 4. Kishibe." He replied with his characteristic lack of interest in the situation and his heavy gaze on both officers. "For this operation, the police and the Division 2 will seal off the entrances at the first floor and below ground. Our team will enter the building and pacify the terrorists. In addition, there is just one thing you guys will need to watch out for."
Kishibe remained silent for a brief moment before continuing to speak. "The Special Division 4 is mostly made up of non-human members. If one of them runs off into the city, they would cause more harm than the terrorists running wild. For this mission, you should prepare yourselves for if you end up fighting the 4th rather than worrying about the terrorists. I will give you a rundown of our member's characteristics."
Meanwhile, as Kishibe was about to explain the new members, the zombies in the basement were restless and moving around aimlessly. Then something literally popped out of the wall—what looked like part of a shark's head.
"Zombie! Zombie!" That Fiend exclaimed as it finally emerged from the wall in which it was partially submerged, beginning to laugh maniacally at the sight of so much food accumulated in one place. "It's all you can eat!"
Finally, he landed on the ground, while the zombies began to pile up on top of him; but unexpectedly, that Fiend turned his head into the literal disproportionate head of a huge shark with a pair of enormous eyes on each side of his head, beginning to kill as many zombies as he could find in his path.
The Shark Fiend. He can swim through walls, into the ground, and, well pretty much anywhere. He can take the Devil's form for a short period of time.
In his bloody frenzy, Beam tried to aim his jaws at what appeared to be a hooded figure, but was immediately countered by a powerful blow that brought him back to normal and slammed him against a wall of the place. "That... hurt...!" He squealed in a tone that was both annoyed and pained, slowly getting back to his feet.
The hooded figure did not turn around, as he was delivering a powerful kick to a zombie that was heading towards him, destroying it in the process. "Oh! My bad! You bit me, so I thought you were a zombie."
The Violence Fiend. As a rule, Fiends are weaker than they were as Devils, but this one was way too strong even as a Fiend, so he has a mask on that emits poison. No matter what happens, do not remove his mask.
After getting rid of some zombies, Galgali turned his attention to what appeared to be a woman with her head down, surrounded by another horde of zombies. "Hey miss human over there, you should probably run away. If you get bitten, you'll turn into a zombie." He warned her, a slight concern lurking behind his plague doctor-like mask.
Without saying a word, the woman looked up, her eyes perpetually nervous or fearful, revealing the zipper that ran vertically down the middle of her face. As soon as that happened, she seemed to grow larger than usual, revealing eight scythe-like legs, just like a spider's. And she attacked the group of zombies with ease and without even flinching.
"Oh yeah, you're a Devil." Galgali said with relief, seeing how his companion was showing her true abilities.
The Spider Devil. It normally has a humanoid form. In general the more humanoid a Devil, the friendlier it is with humans, but a Devil still a Devil. It will kill people in the heat of the moment.
Princi managed to decapitate one of the zombies with his scythe-like limbs, sending its head flying some distance. However, someone approached and grabbed it. As soon as he had it in his hands, he took a bite as if it were a simple vanilla ice cream.
The Angel Devil. This one is a special Devil that doesn't have any hostility to humans, but do not get near it. If it touches you, it will absorb your lifespan.
After Kishibe's final explanation, Angel walked around with complete indifference, unfazed by the carnage, the sound of tearing flesh, Denji and Power's maniacal laughter, and Kobeni's horrified shriek in the background.
It was then that the androgynous being noticed someone approaching, slashing a couple of zombies in the process. It was Aki, who remained unfazed by what he had just done and stood in front of Angel. It was the first time they had met, and that was evident in the significant height difference between them.
"You there... Do you have a handkerchief?" Angel asked without much enthusiasm, waiting patiently.
Then Aki turned around and handed Angel the handkerchief, and he received it with his usual indifference, wiping the traces of blood from his mouth.
"I'm surprised you came close to me, since your lifespan will shrink if you touch..."
"I figured it wasn't an issue through a cloth." Aki interrupted him, implying that fact and Angel's weakness.
However, someone appeared—a terrorist who already had a gun—pointing it at one of them and about to fire. And so he did. However, Angel used one of his wings to block the shot, reacting just in time to avoid any damage. He only let out a small gasp as the bullet struck his wing and was deflected as a result.
Without hesitation, Aki took advantage of the fact that the terrorist was out of bullets to tackle him with a single elbow to his stomach and leave him unconscious on the ground. Shortly after, Aki turned his gaze towards Angel, about to warn him about something that was completely personal to him at this moment.
"Devil, take this guy outside." Without mincing words, he ordered him.
"He's giving orders... Well, it's better than fighting at least..." Angel sighed with a hint of annoyance, watching Aki walk down a long corridor for something important. He had no choice but to leave him to his own devices, he supposed.
Choose Your Path: Aki /// Denji.
Post-Initial Message Orders:
Aki's Path:
- While the fight between the revamped Special Division 4 and the zombies raged on, Aki continued his long trek, which seemed to last an eternity. His katana, still stained with zombie blood, dripped with drops, reminding him how far he had walked.
- At the end of the corridor, Aki finally encounters Akane again. Aki asks her to surrender, but Akane simply calls the Snake Devil command to summon a controlled Ghost Devil in the blink of an eye. Aki calls her "you bastard!", and Akane orders it to kill him.
- The Ghost Devil, an enormous Devil with the head of a decayed woman with sewn-on eyes and mouth, a huge mane of unkempt black hair, a cylindrical body completely covered in flowers, and several arms that served as legs, began its coordinated attack on Aki with these limbs. He severed several of its limbs with his katana, causing its to bleed blue in the process.
- Recalling the words of the Future Devil, it is implied that Aki has been dodging all of the Ghost Devil's controlled attacks thanks to his ability to foresee the future for a few seconds. However, Aki ends up being overwhelmed by so many attacks that the Ghost Devil ends up grabbing him by the neck and lifting him up to the height of its eerie face.
- Akane, calm, orders it to just kill him, at which point the Ghost Devil begins to strangle Aki, although he would have a flashback shortly afterwards.
- In Aki's distant memory, back in 1994, when he and Himeno had finished their first mission together and were at a Chinese restaurant, Himeno offered him a cigarette. Aki of that time refused, but Himeno insisted once more, to which he reluctantly agreed. Just as she was about to light it for him, Aki declared that she was a terrible mentor for making him smoke when he was only 18. Himeno was upset and shocked by this statement, and Aki simply replied, "Yeah, so what?" before taking the cigarette away anyway. However, she told him that when he was old enough and could support himself, she would give it back.
- Back in the present, the Ghost Devil, seemingly acting on a message from Himeno's "beyond" and appearing to defy Akane's orders, releases Aki. He lies on the ground, still slightly dazed from the strangulation, and notices one of its hands extended in front of him, offering him something.
- Aki realized it was a cigarette; as he took it from the hand Ghost Devil was offering him, he noticed a message written on it that read: "Easy revenge." An ambiguous message, but one that was powerful for Aki in an emotional sense.
- Then, Aki remembered something important: the Ghost Devil's greatest weakness was that it couldn't "see" those who weren't afraid. That's why it ignored Akane's orders. Calmly and fearlessly, Aki climbed one of its large limbs, then its flowery, cylindrical torso, until he was standing on top of its head. The Ghost Devil didn't react in the slightest, as if it knew this was its fate. And then, Aki, internally muttering to himself, swore that he would be reunited with Himeno in the afterlife.
- In the end, Aki decapitated it with a single slash of his katana, ending the fight. Akane, desperate, tried to call Snake once more, but surprisingly, Kobeni appeared right behind her, wrapping her arm around Akane's neck and silently threatening to cut her throat with a knife. Akane was finally subdued, and she was sweating with fear.
- Aki asks Kobeni why she stayed in the bureau, to which, with a paradoxically calm nervousness, she replied that she was going to be paid extra.
Denji's Path:
- Denji and Power find themselves in an elevator, searching for Katana Man's headquarters. They were bored of waiting, and Power was carrying around a severed zombie arm. Denji disgusted her, to which she argument with the seriousness of a clown at a funeral.
- They reached the 7th floor, which, to their surprise, was swarming with zombies wandering aimlessly. Denji sweated a little, relieved they hadn't been noticed, and warned her not to make any loud noises. But to no one's surprise, Power called out her name, asserting her dominance. She told him to follow her while she dealt with the zombies, but Denji silently ignored her and took the elevator to the next floor.
- Denji waits bored until the next floor, yawns, and as he prepares to pull the cord from his chest, the doors open and reveal both Katana Man and a couple of his henchmen. Two of them were pointing their guns at him, waiting for a sudden movement or orders from Katana Man.
- Denji was about to pull the chainsaw cord on his chest, until Katana Man asks him to pause, so he can ask a few questions.
- He explains the groups desire for compensation over the Old Man's death, with Denji frustratedly explaining that the Old Man was zombified when he killed him. Katana Man asks whether Denji truly felt nothing when killing the zombies, reminding him they used to be humans.
- Denji repeats he felt nothing. Katana Man then reveals that despite giving his heart to a Devil, like Denji, he still feels guilt over killing zombies, explaining that Denji is the only Devil-Human hybrid without a sense of conscience.
- He requests Denji accept death as a form of mercy-killing, but Denji casually responds he "Don't Wanna". An irritated Katana Man begins to transform as he pulled out his left hand activating the trigger.
- They both transform into their [Unknown Name] forms, crash through a wall together and begin to fall towards the streets, where their respective blades begin to clash.
- While they were arguing in the air about killing each other, they ended up falling onto a moving train. Re-adjusting, he is able to block an attack from the still-falling Katana Man, which sends them crashing into a crowded carriage.
- As floods of passengers flee, a voice-over announces the train is coming to an emergency stop. Denji notices a remaining passenger- an injured young woman- lying on the floor. As Katana Man launches an attack, Denji blocks it, protecting the woman but losing an arm. The woman runs away, as Denji angrily shouts they "Should Ban That Move!".
- Katana Man attacks again, slicing off Denji's other arm. He demands that as Denji can no longer fight, he should apologize for killing the Old Man and accept death. Denji refuses, stating that as as long as he has the chainsaw on his head, he cans still fight.
- The two clash again, however the impact causes the blade of Denji's head-chainsaw to shatter. Katana Man again demands an apology in return for a swift-death, however Denji reveals that Katana Man was so distracted with anger that he didn't notice being sliced in half by Denji.
- Katana Man, now revealed to have been split vertically, reacts with a moment of surprise, before his body completely falls apart into a mass of blood and organs. Watching, Denji repeats the words told to him by Kishibe: "Prey Should Never Trust What A Hunter Says".
Ending... for now?:
- Hours later, Special Division 4 had successfully completed the mission without any casualties. Katana Man, now reverted to human form and wearing nothing but underwear, awakens next to the train, bound by a set of chainsaw blades.
- A shirtless Denji stands over him, expressing surprise over his speedy recovery. An infuriated Katana Man threatens to kill him, but Denji rebuffs it, calling him a "Loser".
- Denji states that he is waiting for the police to come and arrest him, however notes that he is unwilling to accept Katana Man merely facing imprisonment after being responsible for Himeno's death.
- As Aki arrives, Denji announces he's planning a 'tournament' as revenge. Denji asks Aki if he'd like to join the tournament, stating that as he shot Himeno, his punishment should be "nut shots".
- He then reveals the rules of his 'tournament': Taking it in turns to kick Katana Man in the testicles, with whomever can make him scream the loudest before the police arrive being crowned the winner.
- Loudly sighing, Aki states it is not their job to torture him, and Himeno would be unhappy with such actions. However, after looking at the cigarette he was given by the Ghost Devil, he rolls up his sleeves and asks about the reward for the winner. Denji responds they get to keep what remains of his testicles.
- In a scene that is both touchingly funny and symbolic, Aki and Denji continue to mercilessly kicking Katana Man's crotch, both laughing at the silly yet violent act. Aki's internal monologue at this moment is: "Himeno, can you hear this from heaven? This is our requiem for you."
- Somewhere across the city, the remaining Gun-Agents are rounded up, as the Angel Devil looks into the distance.
- One day later, elsewhere, Makima reports the events of the day to the bureau in the office of what appeared to be the Japanese government. They question why the Gun-Agents desired Denji's heart, but Makima reveals that the Snake Devil killed Sawatari before she could be questioned, likely as a part of their contract.
- A brief flashback to the previous day shows Kobeni, alongside a handcuffed Akane, walking down a Public Safety corridor. Without warning, the enormous head of the Snake Devil appeared out of nowhere, intent on decapitating Akane, and vanished in the blink of an eye. Kobeni could only scream in horror at the sight of the corpse before her.
- Back in the present, Makima explains that during the cleanup of this incident, they managed to find 1.4 kg of Gun Devil fragments inside the building. Combined with the 5kg they had already managed to collect, it seems she is moving towards the main body. One of the politicians asks her where she is going, to which Makima does not reply and only smiles, as calm as she is unsettling.
- The End...?
