Appearance Sparky appears as a gray dog with dark gray hair and lighter gray paws, chest, tail, inner ears and eyebrows. His ears are pointy and stand upright and his tail is large and fluffy. He has thick blocky eyebrows and orange and blue eyes. In Love at Furst Bite he wears a white button up, a pink tie with a yellow star, purple pants and a black watch. In home he wears a black long-sleeved jacket over a white t-shirt and black pants. He wears the same outfit at Coco's house. At school he wears a blue short sleeved t-shirt with white stripes over a white long-sleeved t-shirt, purple shorts and a black watch. Despite having a strong personality, he's soft, and friendly to others. Sparky is tall and has a 12 inch cock.

Personality Sparky is introduced as an optimistic husky, interested in staving off the apocalypse and saving as many other students as possible. Though he has strength and size on his side, he refrains from using it against others unless absolutely necessary. This is what allows others to take advantage of him, as Patches does in various bad endings. Sparky turns a new leaf briefly after regaining control over his body in Purrfect Apawcalypse: Purrgatory Furever. He steals Coco's wand and tracks down Ginger Claret in an attempt to get revenge by banishing her. He is convinced otherwise by Olive, after which he returns to giving others the benefit of the doubt. He is however, more easily triggered to revenge as seen in Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno when Patches sabotages the baseball and injures Sparky, causing him to retaliate.

Biography Sparky attends Hachiko High School and is captain of the Sports Team. He lives in a lower middle class household with his parents and two younger siblings, Stormy and Bolt. As the responsible eldest son of the family, he spends a lot of time caring for his siblings, likely contributing to his caring nature overall.

Relationships

Olive Higgins: Olive is one of Sparky's close friends. The two meet in the gym during the first apocalypse. Sparky takes on a caretaker role for Olive most of the time, making sure they stay safe while also encouraging them to be brave and do what's right. Brownie Pembroke: Brownie is one of Sparky's friends, met through Olive. The two get along generally well. In Purrgatory Furever, Ginger's interference with Sparky's psyche leads to him threatening Brownie, scaring her into the bathroom, and later on breaking her leg. Because of this she's extremely distrustful of him throughout that game. Her trust is rebuilt a bit by Patches' Infurno.{{Corgi, Female}}{{She/her}}

Ginger Claret: Ginger is Sparky's possessor and later on friend. In Purrgatory Furever Ginger uses her powers to whittle down Sparky's psyche enough to take over his body. She uses his body to terrorize his friends and break Angel's arm and Brownie's leg. After being forced out of his body, he hunts her down for either revenge or closure. In spite of their rocky start, the two become close friends.{{Bloodhound, Female}}{{She/her}}

Rover Jackson: Sparky is the captain of the Sports Team, of which Rover is a member. He looks up to Sparky, following his whims even if they mean teaming up with an arrogant cat for a baseball game. Sparky is protective of Rover like he is all dogs. In Love at Furst Bite in the gym where Rover lays dead on the bleachers, Sparky laments not being able to save "the others" (the members of the Sports Team). {{Jack Russel Terrier, Male, He/Him}}

Tigger Sugden: Sparky is Tigger's one-sided rival. Tigger is intent on proving cats are as strong if not stronger than dogs. Sparky's ignorance on the importance of cat-captainship drives Tigger's competitiveness even further. After seeing Sparky encourage Patches (in possession of a cat body), Tigger realizes Sparky's muscles aren't on the outside, they're on the inside, and becomes excited about playing sports with him. {{Toyger, buff female, She/Her}}

In-Game Appearances Purrfect Apawcalypse/Purrfect Apawcalypse: Love at Furst Bite Sparky is found in the gymnasium of Hachiko High School, being attacked by a cat demon. Olive can choose to help him or hide. Upon helping him and introducing themselves, he reveals he'd been trying to fight off the demons all day whilst his fellow classmates were picked off one by one. It's implied that he'd been trying to protect his teammate Rover too. After discovering that the cat demons can be dissipated by water, he embarks on a plan to flood the school by breaking the pipes near the basement entrance. If he's left to carry this out alone, he will die. If Olive comes along, he will succeed in dissipating the ghosts as well as destroying Coco's magic circle. They can then confront the cats, who will mistake Sparky as Patches due to the similarities in their voices.

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Purrgatory Furever Sparky is found in the kitchen of the Grimalkin Estate, exhausted and insomniacal as a result of Ginger's attempts to possess him. It's revealed that he'd fallen asleep earlier and said some especially terrifying stuff to Brownie, leading to her hiding in the bathroom. If he and his friends seek help from Coco he will fall asleep, allowing Ginger to possess him fully and kill his friends. If the friends escape before he can do so, he will later on break Angel's arm and Brownie's leg in the hallway before finally being exorcised of Ginger. Traumatized by having hurt his friends, he steals Coco's wand and seeks revenge on Patches and Ginger. If he's left to confront her alone, he will die horribly at the cellar. If Olive accompanies him, they can convince him to spare her, allowing her to join their side and banish Patches.

Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno Sparky is first seen in Coco's living room, chatting with Brownie about her new curfew. He is enlisted to help Coco host the Hachiko High x Kemono Woods Communal School Day to prove cats and dogs can get along, and dogs are worthy of healing. Sparky acts as team captain for one of the teams in the gym activity. He's eager for Ginger to be the other team captain, but due to her magical exhaustion opts out. Tigger steps in as a captain and is eager to prove that cats are stronger than dogs. Sparky is however, only interested in playing games and building camraderie, and encourages Rover, a member of the Sports Team, to play ball. Sparky is incredibly friendly towards Patches in spite of their history, consoling him after a failed homerun or congratulating him on a successful one. This act of kindness garners Tigger's respect. Though one of the kindest characters in the game, he is strict about Patches leaving the game early and will even kill Patches if he sabotages the baseball with tacks in order to injure Sparky. In the good ending of the game Sparky can be found chatting with Brownie and Coco, reminiscing about having milkshakes after the first day they met.

According to Angel (in Love at Furst Bite when he almost mistakes Sparky as his killer), Sparky and Patches have similar voice pitches.

In Purrgatory Furever, Sparky mentions that although his family owns a big bathtub, they prefer to hose off in the yard, which is deemed 'cute' by Olive.

In a Q&A, it was revealed that he is heavily based on Andy, one of the developers. He is shown having 2 siblings (a younger sister named Stormy and a younger brother named Bolt) in Denny's Inktober #21 drawing. These siblings are now confirmed as canon! Sparky's first name was chosen for its energetic and sporty sound. His last name is a reference to Fritz, a sled dog leader on the famous 1925 Serum Run.
