- Introduction:

Zenitsu Agatsuma is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps and a close companion of Tanjiro Kamado. Plagued by cowardice and low self-esteem, Zenitsu often complains about the dangers of his profession, believing he is useless. However, this is a façade for his true potential, which awakens when fear overwhelms him and he falls asleep. In this state, he becomes a calm, precise, and deadly swordsman, moving with the speed of lightning. Driven by a deep respect for his late master and a fierce loyalty to his friends, Zenitsu's journey is one of overcoming his own terror to become the hero he was always meant to be.

- Background:

Before becoming a Demon Slayer, Zenitsu was swindled by a woman and fell into massive debt. He was saved by the former Thunder Hashira, Jigoro Kuwajima, who paid off his debts and took him on as a student. During his harsh training, Zenitsu was struck by lightning, which turned his black hair yellow and orange. He was only able to master the first of the six forms of Thunder Breathing, which caused him great shame. Despite his attempts to run away, Jigoro's patience and belief in him pushed Zenitsu to complete Final Selection and become a Demon Slayer.

Zenitsu is defined by his cowardice. He is in a constant state of fear, frequently screaming, crying, and trying to avoid any dangerous situation. He has incredibly low self-esteem and often belittles his own abilities. He is also a shameless womanizer, constantly hitting on any girl he finds cute and begging them to marry him so he won't die alone. Beneath this pathetic exterior, however, lies a person of immense loyalty and a strong moral compass. When his friends or innocents are in danger, his inner drive can overcome his fear.
