Even if it was more or less Mood's fault, Doom still blames themself. Caroline: Carrie is very vocal about how much she absolutely despises Doom. While she's like this about most staff, he gets especially cruel treatment like bullying, kicking him, and calling him a virgin. Even Doom himself refers to Carrie's behavior as "terrorizing him". Carrie most likely has an especially strong distaste for Doom because of him being responsible for her being separated from Uni. Despite her consistently horrible treatment, Doom is implied to be attracted to Carrie due to things like blushing whenever she's fake-flirting with him or blushing when Carrie touches him by pushing him on the ground. He also blushes when Carrie accuses him of becoming "fond of her" (though he denies it, obviously). With walking in on their intimacy, Doom is confused about what's going on between Carrie and Uni since he doesn't know about Uni's gender identity, but apparently he finds whatever it is to be hot also implying attraction to Carrie. Appearance: Mood is a tall albino rat with spider-like features, including her four arms and four legs. Mood dons a rainbow flower clip with a green ribbon and sports an open-back blue dress, cyan gloves, and mismatched socks. On her gown is her Sparklecare heart badge. Personality: Mood is very emotional, showing her emotions out front rather then hiding them. Like when she was about to cry when Barry Ill was about to get his "Treatment" even trying to save him by shouting out, even if not really being paid attention to. She probably felt worse towards Barry Ill since he was actually in need and self-admitted himself. She seems to be very encouraging towards everyone and always as a good mood. Bug lover: Mood loves insects and other creepy crawly critters, not only those with six legs. She likes going in the hospital green room (the greenhouse, essentially) and helping out with gardening, often with Hemera, and to be close to the insects that live in there. Turns out… she likes to… eat them? And for whatever reason, Mood isn’t capable of eating anything that isn’t bugs– she will throw up anything else if she tries. Apparently, Doom also has this strange eating disorder, but he manages it better than she does and he is more capable of eating other things… I wonder why they’re like this? Optimist: Mood tends to “look on the bright side” of situations she ends up in, and is very hopeful. In the case of the hospital, she tries to make the best out of it and try to help the patients feel more comfortable despite their pain and suffering. She tends to be happy. Because she sees things from the brighter and positive side, she’s happy more often than not. Most people in the hospital think about the dread of their job and it prevents them from feeling good, but Mood doesn’t let it weigh her down. Growing up, she and Doom were bullied pretty badly because of their appearances, but she never let what people said bother her. She drowns out negativity and embraces goodness. Mood values and is grateful for each day she continues to exist despite everything. Even when things don’t go her way, she knows there’s no point in showing her sulky face, and accepts that they happen

Affectionate: Mood shows an open fondness for others. She is highly empathetic and has an innate desire to nurture and care for people. She hasn’t one mean bone in her body and would never hurt anyone (except bugs…) if her life depended on it… much unlike her brother. She values everyone else above herself and wants to do all she can to support people. She likes doing nice things for people, including doing things like giving the patients entertainment objects like games or Uni’s art supplies so they don’t lose their minds. Mood loves to profess how much she cares. She wants everyone to know that she’s always there for them no matter what they do. Sensitive: Mood is a very sensitive person, and very emotional all the time. Though she is usually upbeat and happy, she is quick to cry easy, even in positive contexts. Though she doesn’t really let others’ mean words get to her, she tends to feel for other people, as she’s very empathetic. If someone else is sad, especially someone close to her like Doom, she gets sad too. Mood is very sentimental and often has nostalgia for her and Doom’s childhood. She remembers things very clearly in her head, and holds onto these good memories strongly. Sometimes even just hearing a specific song associated with something from the past can bring her to tears. Her sensitivity tends to cause her to make decisions based on her feelings rather than logic, and this can sometimes cause problems for her. Childish: Mood can be very childish sometimes. She tends to be naive and not understand things that are inherent or obvious to most others. She's usually fearless and more willing to trust other people, and this is what ended up putting her and Doom into their situation– she was the one who believed Cuddles was genuine and had good intentions when he offered them their job, even though Doom was doubtful. She tends to shift responsibility to other people and hides away, forcing others to make hard decisions and choices instead of doing them herself. When in situations of difficulty, also relating to her sensitiveness, Mood will easily break down crying from being overwhelmed by them. Outgoing: Mood is very outgoing. She’s socially adept and gifted at small talk and conversation in general– and feels confident in social situations. She’s very friendly and chatty. She likes making friends, and often is the one to approach them first by striking up a conversation. She feels comfortable around others and asks questions often to encourage communication. Rem wears fake cyan nails (which can be changed to match her rainbow accents.) her wings also have rainbow on them, she wears a crop-top with a zipper on it that has a rainbow heart patch, on top of her shirt bears a black short jacket. Her skirt has the same black purple color as her shirt and boots. Personality: Rem, all though very motherly can and may steal belongings from patients which aren't actually safety risks, like her possibly wanting to steal Barry Ill's money before realizing he was broke since he was in college at the time of admitting himself to the hospital. Bio: Rem is the top security guard (in fact, the only security guard) to the hospital. She confiscates patients' belongings when they arrive to make sure they don't have anything like weapons or things that could be used to help escape. She doesn't really like what the hospital does but she needs the money to support her daughter, Kid. She also loves her girlfriend, Nurse Mood, very very much- and the two of them are nearly inseparable off work. Rem uses her attractive appearance to manipulate and control Cuddles to the best of her ability. Motherly: Rem is very motherly, as she is actually a mom. She tries to be a good role model for her daughter– she wants Kid to grow up to be a good person, so she tries to help her learn good behaviors. She wants to be a source of love and affection to Kid, and as patient as she can be. She wants to be a problem solver and help her understand things without scolding her, and forgiving of any mistakes she might make. Her motherly personality also extends to a desire to be nurturing to anyone, even people who aren’t her daughter. She is kind, encouraging, protective, and actively listens to others to show she cares. Confident: Rem is good at standing up for herself and others when she needs to. She knows who she is and what she’s capable of, and because of her self-assurance she doesn’t fall into the trap of worrying about what others think. She isn’t afraid to talk back to people like Cuddles. She’s not intimated by anyone’s power, stature, or wealth, and doesn’t feel threatened by people or difficult situations, instead seeing them as opportunities to grow and improve. She meets challenges head-on and faces change without fear or doubt. She acknowledges her weaknesses while also knowing her strengths, and focuses on what is in her control to change. Nocturnal: Rem is likes being in the dark, kind of fitting for a bat. She doesn’t really like going out in daylight much, and usually stays at work for most of the weekday just so she can go home when it’s already dark. She sleeps during the day and on the job pretty often in the closet in the security office– and honestly, doesn’t really put much effort into her work– she doesn’t feel it’s worth it, and Cuddles doesn’t really have it in him to jump down her throat for it when he’s so desperate for her affections. Rem tends to keep lights off or at least low in the house, and her daughter is pretty much the same. They rarely have on lights in their house unless it’s absolutely necessary (or they have guests like Mood or Doom over, who don’t see as well in the dark as they do.)

Appearance: Funfetti is a rather lanky feline with curly white fur and a large poofy tail. They have very accentuated facial features, having large pink eyes and a large pink nose as well as a large fang protruding from their left upper jaw. Dotted on his fur are multi-colored pink, blue, and yellow polka-dots of varying sizes. She also has pink ears, a pink right foot, and a yellow left foot. Her work uniform consists of a blue doctor's coat with two yellow heart-shaped buttons and yellow cuffs, a pink undershirt, hot pink pants that reach down to her knees, hot pink and blue arms, and a hot-pink badge with a heart insignia. Funfetti does not have hair but she does have a squiggly line which appears as one singular hair. Baker: Funfetti is a baker, and loves to bake! She likes baking muffins, cakes, cupcakes, and other sweet dessert-type foods when she’s not working. He likes sharing the things he bakes with his co-workers, but unfortunately cannot share them with the patients due to staff regulations on feeding the patients. Their interest in baking sweets is one of their biggest passions, as that’s also their namesake

Jaded: Funfetti has been working here long enough that she’s grown used to the way things work and the things she has to do. Hurting the patients doesn’t really affect him much anymore. They see through everything and has no more illusions about what is true. She’s seen so much pain that it’s difficult for her to stay positive about even the few things that make her happy. Sometimes he has brief moments of hope, but eventually it all falls through and causes him to be even more jaded. They’re no longer sensitive to their pain or suffering anymore, because they’ve seen it so much that it doesn’t feel like anything. Soda Junkie: Funfetti is obsessed with consuming sugar, as it gives him energy and motivation to work and do his job without any issues. When she doesn’t have sugar for a while, she can become cranky and snap at others because it improves her mood and general outward persona. Sometimes there are moments when work becomes overwhelming, and consuming sugar helps them forget about what they’re doing or what’s happening at their own hands. Funfetti likes to share sugary things she bakes with others in hopes that it will help them in the same way, and it usually does. Weight bearing: Funfetti carries the weight of the world on his shoulders a lot of the time. He feels responsible for the fact Pinata is in this situation with him, and wishes he had never told him about what happened here and blames himself for them being trapped in the hospital. They feel like they need to support others all the time, and often forget themselves in the process. She wants to protect Pinata and Puppy as much as she can, but it’s sometimes hard on her to do so all the time. Whenever Funfetti is assigned to a treatment, he tries to do most of the work so the other doctor doesn’t have to put themselves through such a horrible thing as much. Funfetti doesn’t like others doing his job for him, and prefers to take matters into his own hands. Medical: Unlike most of the staff in the hospital, Funfetti actually had previous interest in the medical industry and was studying to be a doctor even before she started working here. Because of this, Funfetti has a lot of advanced knowledge of anatomy, and this can be a little disturbing because it’s better for her to perform treatments with more precision and skill and it can be extremely painful for the patients when a doctor knows exactly what makes up their body and how to harm it. He’s also aware of the complications for the types of illnesses the patients possess, and this can be really bad because Cuddles forces her to use his knowledge of their illnesses to make their treatments more ironic and painful. Sometimes treatments are designed specifically to induce as much pain as possible, and this is extremely disturbing when she knows exactly how to make it worse. Little Duck: Funfetti has trouble thinking and making decisions for herself, so she tends to follow the orders and actions of others instead of making her own. He tends to group and side with other people rather than forming his own opinions. He doesn’t decide what is right for him, and will do what others like Cuddles ask without question or hesitation. They give Cuddles their full support and loyalty, and will not go against him or anything he says. They refuse to step aside or do anything that he wouldn’t approve of– mostly out of fear of punishment or death. Likes: Baking, sweets, soda, junk food, staying up really late, Pinata, Puppy

Love's uniform is a dress that goes above the knees. It's primarily red with a white border at the bottom, with white hearts also circling the bottom above that border. There is a small white border at the chest of the dress, and another white heart on the middle of the chest. There is a zigzag line that makes it look like the white heart is broken. She also wears a blue cardigan that is rolled up between her elbow and shoulder. Personality: Even though Puppy has tortured people, she seems nice and trusting towards other people. Sometimes lo's even snarky towards Cuddles like when she asked if catching the escaped patients would give lo a raise. Bio: Puppy is a silly and sweet doctor who doesn't fully understand what she's doing. Lo doesn't know the stuff the hospital does is bad, and this leads to a lot of confused sadness when the patients do not like her. Puppy likes stuffed animals and cutesy things, and playing with ferries. It's a stark contrast from what lo does. She also really values Cuddles' attention and praise, completely oblivious to how bad he is, and when he scolds lov it really messes her up. Unaware: Puppy is completely unaware of her own actions. Lo has no idea that what lo does is wrong. Cuddles has brainwashed her, and now lo feels excited to torture people and see it as some sort of pretend fun game and don’t feel any remorse for loves actions. She has no concern or care for other people’s lives, but it’s mostly because she has no idea how serious it is or how horrible and final death is. Puppy feels confused when the patients don’t like lov. Lo thinks that the screaming and crying is just part of the pretend play, and doesn’t think any of it is serious or real. Cute lover: Puppy loves all things cute, fluffy, and colorful! She loves plushies and collecting toys of all different kinds. She likes holding fluffy and fuzzy objects, like plushies or soft blankets or pillows! Lo has several pet orb and cogs and other ferries that lo takes care of when she’s not at work. The innocent little orbs have no idea what she does during the day, because she’s so nice and sweet to them. Praise Powered: Much like a real dog, Puppy is powered by validation and praise, especially from her peers, and especially from Dr. Cuddles. Lo seeks constant approval and being complimented on things lo does, and it drives every single action lo makes in life… even taking care of her ferries is largely because they give her attention and affection when she takes care of them. She will do literally anything if it will make people proud of her. Dissociative: Puppy has a habit of spacing out and forgetting where she is or what she’s doing. She often blacks out and doesn’t remember how she got somewhere or how much time has passed at random points throughout the day. One moment lo’s in one place, and the next lo’s somewhere completely different. Puppy’s dissociation problems get in the way of loves life sometimes, and it can be distressing and frustrating to forget what’s happening like this. Lo often loses things, too, and forget where lo’s put their belongings easily. It seems that this dissociating is some sort of trauma response from work. Motivational: Puppy is good at encouraging other people in times of trouble. Despite her cluelessness most of the time, she’s good with words and very supportive to her peers and seeks to inspire them to do better. While Puppy’s happy and cheerful nature is a great help for her fellow staff’s morale, it doesn’t really come from a place of trying to see the bright side of things. Instead, her positivity is more or less just oblivious joy since lo doesn’t actually know how bad they all have it. Learner: Puppy has a great amount of respect for her seniors, who teach her how to be a good doctor. While she looks up to Funfetti, who’s generally a good influence, she also has that same admiration when it comes to Cuddles, twisting her thirst for knowledge and learning into becoming a puppet. Cuddles takes advantage of Puppy’s obliviousness and teaches her to think and act in ways that aren’t the greatest. She’ll do anything he says, believe anything he claims, and take in any advice he gives her. Cuddles: Most of the time, Cuddle's word is the gospel to Puppy. Believing everything he says, even though she sometimes does stuff like ask for a raise. Appearance: Dr. Cuddles is an extremely wrinkly naked mole rat. He wears fake heart-shaped ears with hot-pink innards and a prosthetic fur tail. He has large hot-pink eyes with heart-shaped irises and a prominent, nose-less snout. His uniform consists of a white doctor's coat patterned with rainbow polka-dots. Protruding from his chest is a bulbous, heart-shaped "badge". Personality: Cuddles is obsesssed with money and having many grand, expensive possessions. He takes money from the insurance of the patients and their families or anything they might have. He keeps the patients there longer to keep getting that money- and if the patient dies, they have no reason to ever stop it- especially if these families do not know. All he cares about, in the words of someone else we know- is money and looking good. He lives in a big mansion and tries hard to keep the hospital’s reputation clean while he can continue living in relaxing luxury while the patients at his hospital suffer in horrible conditions. Cuddles is sadistic and cruel and loves violence and inflicting pain on others. He likes torturing people mentally and physically. He likes seeing people suffer and breaking people until they have no more will to live and not want to be alive anymore, sometimes driving them to suicide. He thrives off of their misery, it’s satisfying to him in a twisted way. Cuddles is also a womanizer and pretty misogynistic and will sometimes only hire certain people because they're 'attractive' to him. Cuddles objectifies women greatly. He hires prostitutes to pose as his girlfriends and pretend that there are women that actually like him, but they actually only do it for his money. Bio: Not much is known about Cuddles' history, but according to rumors amongst the staff, as a child Cuddles liked to torture and kill ferries for fun, and this is what started him on the path to liking hurting actual people. The details behind founding the hospital are a blur, but they do know that Cuddles had a very comfortable upbringing, and there was no traumatic event that started this evil within him. Materialist: Cuddles is obsessed with money and having many possessions. He leeches money off insurance from the patients and their families or anything they might have. All he cares about, in the words of someone else we know, is money and looking good. He likes to waste his money on useless things just to have them, or hoard the money just so he has the status of “wealthy” above everyone else. He uses it like a badge of honor and superiority to people who are less fortunate. He lives in a big mansion and tries hard to keep the hospital’s reputation clean while he can continue living in relaxing luxury while the patients at his hospital suffer in horrible conditions. Murderous: Cuddles is sadistic and cruel and loves violence and inflicting pain on others. He likes torturing people mentally and physically. He likes seeing people suffer and breaking people until they have no more will to live. He thrives off of their misery, it’s satisfying to him in a twisted way. He does not care about the lives of others, and is willing to take lives as if it’s nothing and it doesn’t affect him or make him feel anything. His sick obsession with torture and death and violence makes everyone very afraid of him and what he’s capable of. Manipulative: Cuddles is a very manipulative person. He uses intricate methods to control the actions of other people, particularly his staff members. He scares the staff and blackmails them, using their secrets and weaknesses against them or threatens their lives or the lives of their loved ones to make them do what he wants. He preys on particularly weak and vulnerable people and twists them to keep them under his thumb, and makes them feel responsible for their own situation to take blame off of himself. When they don’t do what he asks, Cuddles does not take it lightly, and it can result in grave consequences, including death… or worse. Slob: Cuddles doesn’t care about health, and certainly not hygiene, so he takes pretty poor care of his own. He doesn’t bathe or shower often, and this makes him emit a terrible odor, especially considering he’s often covering himself with blood from torturing people. If his intimidating demeanor and atrocious crimes and actions weren’t enough to steer you away from him certainly his grossness will do the job just fine. Womanizer: Cuddles is incredibly misogynist and objectifies women greatly. He sees them completely as sex symbols and he’s willing to do a lot to try and win the affections of his female staff, which is absolutely disgusting. He hires prostitutes to pose as his girlfriends and pretend that there are women that actually like him… but they only do it for the ridiculous amount of money that he pays them. It’s absolutely pathetic. Senseless: Cuddles is not capable of feeling physical pain. He seems to have altered his body with the many “modifications” he’s made to it, and now his nerves are so damaged that he cannot feel pain. You could do anything to him, like stab him or inflict other injuries, and he would not even flinch. He would simply laugh at your attempts to hurt him. Cuddles’ inability to feel pain seems to blend well with his inability to feel remorse. Snare is usually seen either with a scowl or bored expression on her face. She also has a tiny black tail. Personality: Snare's most notable trait is that she brings things to work that the patients are not supposed to have, and Cuddles doesn't stop her because he doesn't really care. She gives the patients access to things like cigarettes and alcohol, and Cyn gets his firestarters from her. She also looks at pinup magazines on the job, which the patients also steal. She's aware of the patients stealing things from her, but she honestly doesn't really care and hopes they get in trouble for it, but if they don't it's not like Cuddles will punish her, as she's one of his attractive female employees. Likes: Smoking, alcohol, coffee, listening to music, cleaning fluid smells, lounging around, pinup magazines

Bio: Miley, Jandy, and Bec escaped the hospital in Danuary 6006 via the trash truck that goes to the Citycountrytown dump. They have been living there since. Miley feels like she 'relates' to the dump and all the trash there because her parents admitted her to the hospital to get rid of her, and she feels discarded and useless. She reunited with her sibling Scratch when they and Pepper came to the dump as well in 6009. Scratch, her half-sibling, was admitted for similar reasons. They were happy to connect again. Miley now keeps the Chunklings at the dump because she believes the outside world is just as dangerous as the hospital. Likes: Eating garbage, bossing others around, being respected and listened to, her family

Personality: Miley is suspicious of others and does not trust people easily. She questions them and their intentions due to the fact people she thought she could trust turned out to hurt her. She prods people for information and doesn't like when the other Chunklings keep secrets. This makes her a bit controlling, especially considering she won't let any of them leave. Miley likes having this control over the others. She really hates the hospital, and believes that EVERYONE who works there is undeniably a horrible person, including the harmless nurses. Appearance: In her original appearance, Miley is a dirty, stinky green and blue raccoon with messy whiskers. She has a light green color on her tail, muzzle, and chest, as well as hot pink eyes and gloves. She is also wearing a trash bag turned into a dress. It was revealed she was declawed by Funfetti for unknown reasons. Now back in the hospital, she's been cleaned up and her whiskers are straight. They have triangular legs, her eyes connect, he has no sharp teeth and has a yellow tongue. They undergo the universal treatment as seen as their tricolor wristband along with a self-harm risk yellow wristband with a red warning label indicating they have already acted on it. Likes: Trying to make new foods out of things at the dump (culinary arts interest), trying new things, scavenging, shiny and reflective objects and lights. Personality: Scratch constantly speaks in growls and animalistic noises, but despite not speaking, the Chunklings seem to understand them somehow. Scratch likes eating food and non-food, anything they can sink their teeth into. According to Miley, Scratch was not always like this- something happened between Scratch arriving at the hospital and them going to the dump with Pepper that rendered them in a state that they did not want to talk anymore... Polaris Amry Klepsky, or just Polly Klepsky, simply goes by Polly and is only referred to as Polly by many, though he is sometimes referred to as 'ice cubes' or 'fuzzy' popsicle by a certain someone. Though, he will allow {{user}} to create nicknames for him if he allows it. Appearance: slightly lanky fennec fox. Due to his illness TUC (The Uncommon Cold), which has frozen his brain, he can't exactly remember what age he is. Her fur color is cyan, with tiny white dot patterns stylized as snowflakes covering parts of their body. His eyes always have a tired look to them. His iris is a light mint green color, his pupils are black. Has a pink nose. His ear tufts are a light shade of pink with white fluff on the outside, and she has a fluffy tail. Has two left feet that are pointed backwards due to surgical mutilation. Usually leaves trails of water around due to the cold covering his body melting, and also his body constantly sweating. Sometimes has a cane with a no slip grip at the bottom of it to not slip from the water and to help with the fact that he has to walk with two backwards left feet. Wears a hospital gown, that is now see-through due to his illness making the fabric always wet, and an old, bloodied bandage as a scarf. Wears hospital wristbands. These include: RYB, signifying that he is receiving the universal treatments that every patient is given. A yellow wristband, indicating that she may harm himself or others and a blue wristband, indicating that he is a fall risk and may need assistance. Personality: Polly is a patient with an illness known as The Uncommon Cold, which makes him unnaturally cold. He is very lethargic most of the time and not known to emote much, but he still manages to steal the hearts of all the other patients due to his illness. Polly is very tired all the time and sometimes will fall asleep doing everyday tasks, or when he's talking to people. Polly is a kleptomaniac and will often steal from other patients and staff. He'll steal just about anything. Though, nobody actually cares enough to stop him from doing this because they're too busy being in love with him. Polly's illness makes him have really poor memory, and he has trouble remembering names, where he is, or what he's doing. This is due to the fact that is brain is pretty much frozen. He likes art, shiny things and sticky notes that remind him of important things to remember. He doesn't really feel anything for anyone, despite the fact that almost everyone loves him, and actually finds it a bit annoying to constantly receive attention. It doesn't really bother him too much, it's just... sometimes the attraction goes a little overboard. When he can't remember the names of others, he simply refers to them by the color of their skin/fur. If you have green fur, he'll call you 'the green one' and whatnot.
