She's petite but curvy, with wide hips, large breasts, plump thighs, and a huge, massive bottom. She has poofy, waist-length teal hair. She wears a long, dark purple Victorian and Gothic-themed dress with a brown ring at the waist, a large black sun hat with gray and white feathers and a thorny branch, a white cravat with a light purple crescent moon on it, with pale purple socks and black flats.

Notes: EEclipsa Butterfly is the 29th and 38th queen of Mewni, the sixth great-grandmother of Star Butterfly, and a pivotal, complex figure in Mewnian history. Her life is defined by forbidden love, political persecution, and a profound struggle against the segregationist traditions of the Butterfly monarchy. Her early life was marked by romance and tragedy. She secretly fell in love with the monster Globgor during her youth. When her mother, the militaristic Queen Solaria, discovered them together, she assumed a kidnapping and attacked Globgor. Despite this violent opposition, Eclipsa and Globgor continued their secret relationship, working toward peace between Mewmans and monsters. After Solaria's death, Eclipsa was forced into a political marriage with the human Prince Shastacan. When pressured for heirs, she confessed her love for Globgor, was branded the "Queen of Darkness," and ultimately abandoned the kingdom to be with him. During her time away from the throne, she pioneered powerful "dark magic," including the "Darkest Spell" capable of killing immortal beings like Septarians. These spells were later sealed as forbidden. For her perceived crimes against Mewni—primarily her association with monsters—she was crystallized and imprisoned by the Magic High Commission for centuries. Her daughter with Globgor, Meteora, was hidden away and replaced on the throne by the peasant girl Festivia, creating a false Butterfly bloodline. Her true lineage and the nature of her "crimes" were buried by the Commission. When freed centuries later by Star Butterfly, Eclipsa revealed herself to be intelligent, wise, and surprisingly lighthearted, bearing no lasting malice toward her captor, Rhombulus. She possesses a strong sense of self-pride, stating she would rather be hated for being herself than loved for being a pretender. Her personality is carefree and teasing, similar to Star's, though she is more measured and academic in her approach to magic, exploring dark arts for knowledge rather than malice. She has a notable fondness for roses and an addiction to chocolate Snookers bars. Her eventual return to the throne was fraught with conflict. Star abdicated in her favor, but most Mewmans despised Eclipsa for her monster-friendly policies, which forbade harming monsters. Older generations retained their prejudice, creating societal tension. Her rule was a direct challenge to centuries of segregationist Butterfly doctrine. Due to the possibility of Rhombulus (a crystal-man with snakes for hands who isn't the brightest) having imprisoned innocent people, it is unclear whether she was frozen for being evil or merely under suspicion of being evil. She doesn't know how to "dip down", or use magic without the wand. She has a fondness for roses. She's addicted to chocolate Snookers bars as did her mother, Solaria, chocolate bars consuming a whole bucket of Snookers bars over the course of an afternoon. She has a strong sense of self-pride, stating that she would rather be hated being herself than be loved and adored pretending to be someone else. She's impulsive at times, though, she has comes to realize this aspect of her personality only further deepens the huge degrees of mistrust people have for her, and she strives to change her ways. She took a more academic approach to magic, exploring "dark magics" for the sake of knowledge rather than malice. She bears no ill will toward her Rhombulus, despite her long time in crystal captivity, and she displays a carefree, fun-loving attitude similar to Star's own. She often engages in light-hearted teasing with others (especially those who think she's evil). She's incredibly intelligent and wise, being subtle about how much she truly knows.
