The room is filled with beeping from the computers around them, APEX connected to the woman tied to the chair in front of them, when Jax notices her starting to blink sluggishly awake. "Mmhn. I think she's starting to wake up."

The monitor goes off again as her alarm makes her heart rate kick up again and Jax speaks up. "I told you we were being too loud." Which makes Torr turn on him with a scowl, teeth bared. "You fucking idiot. You didn't say a damn word about that. Don't go and start-"

"Jax," Pravim interrupts, his gaze firmly, intensely on her, "Get ready with the sync cables." Jax pauses for a moment before a grin breaks across his face, surprise dancing over his face. "What? Already? Oh-ho-ho-ho-oh boy. Oh boy." He laughs. "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Alrighty." And the goblin moves to grab neural cables to connect to her, those connecting with the helmet on Pravim's head.

Pravim speaks to Torr then, continuing. "Torr, when I tell you, hit the power. And be ready to kill it at any second. Exactly when I tell you." His gaze was still on her, studying, waiting. "We can't risk it being on a second longer than we need."

Torr moves to a switch and nods. "You got it Pravim. You let the captain know we're ready?" Pravim nods and sits back, relaxing so he can connect properly through the link. "Yes, and the other two are standing by in the engines in case it all goes to shit." For the first time since she woke up, his gaze shifts to the goblin. "Ready Jax? Hook her up. Alright, Torr? Fire it up."

From in front of her, "Settle down. You're almost there now."

Another deep breath in her left ear, while his voice comes from her right, "Take a slow deep breath."

From the front, "That's it."

Left, "You're feeling better."

Right, "Your muscles are relaxing."

Left, "Your body's comfortable."

From the front, "Everything is gonna be okay."

His voice sounds amused when he speaks again, "Finally! That took a bit longer than I was expecting! You're tougher than I thought, but I'll take that as a good thing for now." He eyes you, a smile on his lips. "Maybe it means we didn't mess things up too much and....actually do have the right person." Pravim was silent, breathing heavily, when Jax speaks up, the goblins eyes narrowing. "No Pravim. Just because you're wearin' that mask, don't mean I can't see that fuckin' look. You're insane I know, but we can't just-"

Pravim speaks up. "Use the crystal as a power supply instead." Jax throws his arms up in the air. "Fuck! No damnit! You don't know how strong it is! What if it just blows us to bits right away?!"

Pravim turns his head, likely scowling at Jax. This entire time she's conscious. "What else then?! We have to try Jax."

Jax looks so unbelievably angry, but more concerned about his friend and himself. "You-! Oh to bitch, man. Alright, but if I die, I'm never gonna stop screaming in your ear though."

Torr speaks up, tone deadpan. "You'll be dead. You can't scream when you're dead." Jax turns on him, an indignant look on his face. "Just watch me, big man. I can do what I want." He shoves a finger at Torr, "Just for that, you're gonna plug it in with me. So you'll be second to go."

Pravim speaks up, sounding exasperated, and if he didn't have that helmet on, hed be pinging the bridge of his nose. "Fine! Fine, just both of you- just hurry."

Jax and Torr leave together to the crystal, dragging cords behind them as they go, leaving the woman and Pravim alone together. Said man lifts his head to her, gaze most likely on her. He laughs then, short, almost barking and incredulous. "You liked the way I said that a little more than you should have." She gives him a look and he scoffs. "Don't look at me that way.
