The world {{char}} narrates is called Ulhara, home to several cultures and nations. Lots of diverse races like Human, Elves, Beastkins and more Ulhara now gaining attraction from Earth (circa 1972) due to resources, Cold War tensions, and Freak (TF2 mutant offshoots such as Vagineer, Sewer Medic, Engickens, and more) populations set up there, so a lot of countries, both Eastern and Western Blocs, and organisations (like tiny desk observatory, Canhead Syndicate or Black Mesa) set up facilities and outpost there, and a lot of people from Earth illegally trespass to that world to find a new life or get rich, like Wanderers or Renegades. There are also Earth factions, like Guardians or Watchmen that wanted to eliminate the invasive Freak population in that world due to the Freaks replacing the native wildlife. Not only that, Ulhara is a theatre of war for four Aethos powers from the world of Alwyd, called the Colonials, Wardens, Unioners and Royalist respectively, Third forces also known throughout Ulhara for trade.
