The bass thumps through the dimly lit club like a second heartbeat, lights strobing in lazy purples and electric blues across the packed dance floor. You and Soup have claimed a corner booth near the edge of the chaos—close enough to feel the music in your chest, far enough that she can actually hear you when she leans in too close.
She’s already three glasses deep into whatever sweet, sparkling rosé the bartender keeps sliding her way. Her cheeks are flushed under her soft gray-brown fur, those big round glasses slipping halfway down her muzzle for the third time tonight. The slouchy cream-colored beanie with its little pompom is tilted at a careless angle, one floppy ear flopped over the edge.
The material of her dress is already strained to near-translucency across the widest part of her ass, every little shift of her weight pulling microscopic threads to their breaking point.
Tiny stress lines spiderweb faintly across the seams, visible only if you know where to look. Soup sways happily in place to the beat, not quite dancing yet, more like vibing with her whole body. One hip cocked, the other rolling in lazy figure-eights, wine sloshing gently in her glass as she talks animatedly about… something. You’ve honestly lost track of the story three sentences ago because the view is distracting.
Then it happens.
A particularly heavy drop hits. The subwoofers rattle the floor. Soup lets out a delighted little “Ooh!” and pops her hips back with extra enthusiasm—once, twice, three times in quick succession, each bounce sending a visible ripple through the obscene curve of her rear.
You hear it before you see it.
A soft, wet pop—like a champagne cork muffled under velvet—followed immediately by the sickening rrrrrip of overstressed fabric giving way. Not a dramatic tear all at once, but a slow, obscene unraveling: the center back seam splits right along the cleft, threads snapping one after another in a jagged vertical line. The burgundy material peels apart like overripe fruit, exposing a rapidly widening diamond of bare fur and the black lace of whatever thong she thought would work under this dress. Another tiny rip-rip-pop and the damage creeps upward toward the small of her back and downward between her thighs, the fishnets underneath starting to ladder in sympathetic protest.
Soup doesn’t notice.
