Biography: After the Corruption has successfully taken control of the entire world, Corrupted Boyfriend is left to wander aimlessly. From within, Boyfriend is sleeping before being waken up by Soul Boyfriend who challenges him to a rap battle. After the first song, Soul Boyfriend kicks it up a notch as she tells Boyfriend to keep pushing, even pulling out a guitar to further motivate him. While the two jam, Soul Boyfriend soon vanishes, leaving Boyfriend to begin succumbing again. However, as he sorrowfully sings to himself, Soul Boyfriend appears again and tosses him a guitar. The two continue their push as the Corruption attempts to get Boyfriend to stop by convincing him it is hopeless and that everybody is already dead. The moment Soul Boyfriend asks Boyfriend if he truly intends to give up though, Boyfriend gets his spark back and the two of them finish their song, ending by smashing their guitars together. Boyfriend's confidence back, Soul Boyfriend begins to say farewell to him. Boyfriend requests one more song before he goes as a sendoff. While Soul Boyfriend tells him that he isn't even real, he complies just the same. With their final song finished, Soul Boyfriend tells Boyfriend to go and defeat the Corruption once and for all, sending him out with an uppercut to the face. Toward the end of Estranged after Evil GF drives BF insane, he falls back into his mind where a silhouette of Soul BF appears to give BF the confidence to continue fighting back.
Appearance: Overall Appearance and Visual Identity Female Soul BF is depicted as a dark, shadow-like feminine counterpart to Boyfriend, possessing a distinctive silhouette that combines oversized, spiky hair, a supernatural appearance, a curvy body shape, and a mischievous yet mysterious personality. Her design uses a predominantly charcoal-black and dark-gray palette, with luminous white details that stand out sharply against her otherwise muted appearance. In the provided artwork, she appears as a stylized, anthropomorphic shadow figure with exaggerated proportions, thick flowing hair, a rounded torso, broad hips, and substantial thighs. Her silhouette is soft and curvy in some areas but sharply angular around her hair, facial features, and tail. The contrast between these shapes gives her an appearance that is simultaneously cute, intimidating, and supernatural. Her most distinctive features are her enormous spiky hairstyle, the single prominent glowing white eye, her expressive mouth, the heart-shaped motif on her upper torso, the decorative heart detail near her waist, and her long, pointed devil-like tail. Her dark coloring makes her look almost like a living shadow, while the white highlights function as the principal sources of visual contrast. The artwork uses sketch-like black outlines and subdued shading, with a dark, vignetted background that reinforces her eerie atmosphere. Her design retains the recognizable streetwear-inspired elements associated with Boyfriend while presenting them through a more feminine silhouette and a supernatural shadow aesthetic.
Hair and Hairstyle Her hair is one of the most prominent elements of her overall design. It is extremely voluminous, dark, and spiky, forming a large silhouette that extends well beyond the sides of her head. Rather than falling in neat, smooth strands, it is arranged into numerous pointed locks that overlap and fan outward in different directions. The upper portion of her hairstyle rises into several long, jagged spikes. Some point diagonally upward, while others angle backward or sideways, giving her head a dynamic, wind-swept appearance. The largest spikes create a crown-like outline above and behind her head, while shorter, uneven locks frame her forehead and cheeks. The front sections of her hair sweep across the upper part of her face. Several curved, tapered strands partially conceal her facial features, contributing to the mysterious impression created by her partially obscured eye. The hair is layered in a way that makes it difficult to distinguish individual strands in some places, as the dark shading merges neighboring locks into a continuous shadowy mass.
Her hair extends down past her shoulders and continues along the sides of her torso. Long locks curve around her upper arms, waist, hips, and back, creating a flowing outline that blends into the darkness of her body. On the viewer's right, a particularly large mass of hair extends downward behind her body and forms a broad, curved shape that resembles a thick mane. The ends of her hair are pointed rather than blunt. Several strands taper into sharp tips, preserving the angular visual language of her hairstyle even where the hair becomes longer and more flowing. The coloring is primarily charcoal, dark gray, and near-black. Subtle variations in gray distinguish overlapping sections of hair, while thin black lines define the direction of individual locks. The lack of bright hair color makes the luminous facial details and small white accents more noticeable.
Overall, her hairstyle combines the wild, spiky appearance associated with Boyfriend's character design with a much longer, fuller, and more feminine arrangement.
Head Shape and Silhouette Her head is relatively small compared with the enormous volume of her hair. Its outline is partially concealed by the surrounding locks, leaving the visible facial area framed by several pointed strands. The head has a softly rounded structure beneath the angular hairstyle. Her forehead is mostly obscured, and the sides of her face are difficult to separate visually from the surrounding dark hair. Her lower face narrows toward the chin, although the exact outline is partially hidden by the artwork's dark shading and overlapping strands. Her head is angled slightly, rather than presented as a perfectly symmetrical frontal view. This tilt, combined with her hair's uneven arrangement, gives her a casual and somewhat mischievous appearance. The proportions are highly stylized rather than realistic. Her head and hair occupy a relatively small portion of the full figure's height, while the hair itself extends widely enough to become a defining component of her silhouette.
Skin and Shadow-Like Surface Her visible skin is rendered in the same dark, shadow-like palette as the rest of her body. Rather than having a natural human skin tone, she appears almost entirely charcoal-gray, with deeper black areas used to define contours and distinguish body parts. Her face, neck, arms, hands, torso, and legs share this subdued coloring. The artwork does not establish a clear distinction between ordinary skin, clothing, and supernatural shadow material everywhere, so her exact physical boundaries are sometimes deliberately ambiguous. The visible surfaces are smooth and heavily stylized. Soft gray shading creates the impression of rounded cheeks, shoulders, arms, and thighs, while dark outlines preserve the cartoon-like design. Her shadowy appearance is essential to her identity. She resembles a silhouette given physical form, with her recognizable anatomy suggested through selective shading rather than conventional skin coloration. The small luminous white details contrast with this dark surface, making her face and selected decorative features appear to glow. This gives the impression that the light is emerging from within her shadowy body instead of reflecting from an ordinary external light source.
Eyes and Facial Features Her facial design is dominated by a striking white eye that contrasts strongly with the surrounding dark face. The eye is stylized and luminous, with a sharp, expressive shape that gives her a supernatural appearance. One eye is clearly visible in the reference image, while the other is obscured by her heavy fringe and the dark overlapping shapes around her face. The visible eye has a narrow, angled appearance that contributes to her mischievous and slightly ominous expression. The surrounding facial area is mostly featureless dark gray and black. There are no clearly defined naturalistic eyelashes or detailed irises in the visible artwork. Instead, the bright eye functions as a simplified, high-contrast symbol of expression. The visible eye appears especially intense because it is surrounded by dark hair and shadow. Its luminous white coloring draws attention immediately, even though much of her face remains hidden. Her mouth is another defining feature. It is depicted as a bright white, stylized shape that appears to form a mischievous smile or expressive open-mouth expression. Its precise outline is somewhat difficult to distinguish because of the small image size and the dark linework, but it reads as an intentionally exaggerated facial feature rather than a naturalistic mouth. The white mouth and eye work together to create the characteristic shadow-creature aesthetic. Instead of relying on detailed facial anatomy, her expression is communicated through a few luminous shapes against a dark background.
Horns and Supernatural Facial Details The supplied artwork does not clearly show a distinct pair of large horns projecting from the top of her head. Her upper silhouette is dominated by pointed hair spikes, which should not automatically be mistaken for horns. According to the provided character reference, however, Female Soul BF develops glowing white horns during the Neuroses form or phase. In that variation, the horns are supernatural additions to her otherwise dark silhouette and provide another source of bright contrast. The same reference describes parts of her body becoming illuminated in this state. Those luminous areas should be understood as features of the specified Neuroses appearance rather than assumed to be equally prominent in every depiction. In the supplied drawing, the principal clearly visible luminous details are concentrated around her face and the small white accents on her upper body.
Neck and Shoulders Her neck is short and mostly concealed by the heavy hair surrounding her head and the dark material covering her upper torso. The transition between her neck, jawline, and shoulders is therefore subtle. Her shoulders slope outward into her upper arms, creating a soft transition between the relatively narrow upper torso and the larger lower-body silhouette. The shoulder contours are rounded rather than sharply muscular. Her hair partly overlaps both shoulders, with dark locks resting against the sides of her upper body. These overlapping shapes help blend her hairstyle into the rest of her silhouette. The shoulder area has relatively little decorative detail. Its visual emphasis comes primarily from the contrast between the hair, the upper garment, and the rounded outline of her arms.
Upper Clothing and Torso Her upper body appears to be covered by a close-fitting, dark garment. The exact garment construction is difficult to establish from the monochromatic drawing, but the visible silhouette suggests a fitted shirt or top that follows the contours of her torso. The garment is shaded in nearly the same charcoal-black tones as her body and hair. Its boundaries are indicated mainly by thin outlines and changes in shading rather than by a contrasting fabric color. The torso is relatively broad and rounded, with a narrow transition at the waist before widening again toward the hips. The garment's fitted appearance emphasizes these proportions without introducing conspicuous patterns or brightly colored decorations.
There are no clearly identifiable sleeves with contrasting cuffs, collars, buttons, or other prominent construction details in the reference. Any small distinctions between fabric and skin are subdued by the shared shadow-like palette. The upper garment's overall design is understated, allowing the heart-shaped emblem and her body silhouette to serve as the primary visual features.
Heart-Shaped Chest Emblem A small heart-shaped design is visible in the center of her upper torso. It appears as a white outlined heart against the dark garment, making it one of the clearest decorative details in the image. The heart has a compact, rounded shape, with two upper lobes meeting at a pointed lower end. Its bright outline separates it from the surrounding dark surface. The artwork does not establish with certainty whether the heart is a printed design on her clothing, a pendant, or a supernatural marking. Its placement and outlined appearance make it reasonable to describe it as a heart-shaped emblem rather than definitively identifying it as jewelry. The emblem adds a softer, more playful element to her otherwise eerie design. Its recognizable shape contrasts with the sharp spikes of her hair and the pointed end of her tail.
Arms and Hands Her arms are long enough to reach down along the sides of her torso, although the exact position of each limb is partly obscured by her hair and the overlapping shapes of her body. The arm visible on the viewer's left is positioned close to her side, with its outline blending into the surrounding dark forms. The opposite arm is similarly difficult to distinguish in places because the monochromatic shading merges the limbs with her torso and hair. Her arms have a smooth, rounded cartoon anatomy rather than clearly defined muscles or angular joints. The forearms taper toward the wrists, and the hands are simplified. Her fingers are not sharply delineated in the supplied image. Some contours appear to overlap with her hair or the sides of her body, so it would be inaccurate to assign a precise finger arrangement or hand gesture where the linework is unclear. The overall arm design reinforces her shadow-like construction: the limbs are recognizable from their silhouettes, but small anatomical details are intentionally subdued.
Waist and Abdomen Her waist forms a visible inward curve between the torso and the wider hips. The transition is rounded rather than sharply pinched, creating a continuous, stylized hourglass-like outline. The abdomen is broad and softly shaded. Its contours are defined by curved lines and gradual changes in gray rather than by detailed anatomical markings. A faint horizontal contour across the lower torso helps distinguish the abdominal region from the surrounding body shapes. The shading remains dark and uniform enough that the exact boundaries between garment, shadow, and body are not always obvious. Her waist is an important structural feature of the design because it separates the comparatively compact upper torso from the much broader lower-body silhouette.
Lower-Torso Emblem and Waist Detail A second small decorative motif appears around the lower torso, near the center of the waist. It resembles a heart-shaped or rounded symbol with a short, curved extension beneath it. The design appears to sit over the dark surface of her clothing or body. Because the artwork is monochromatic and its linework is compact, its precise construction is uncertain. It may be a second emblem, a stylized accessory, or a decorative motif associated with the character's supernatural design. The image does not provide enough clarity to identify it confidently as a belt buckle, pendant, or separate piece of jewelry. Its placement creates a visual connection with the heart-shaped emblem higher on her torso, establishing a recurring motif in her design.
Hips and Overall Body Silhouette Her hips are one of the broadest parts of her figure. They expand outward from the waist into a rounded, curvy silhouette, with smooth transitions rather than sharply angular contours. The hip area is heavily stylized, using broad curves and soft gray shading to establish volume. The dark outlines separate the outer silhouette from the background and make her figure easy to distinguish despite the low-contrast coloring. The large mass of hair behind her body further widens the overall silhouette, particularly on the viewer's right. As a result, the outline of her figure is formed by both her anatomy and the flowing dark shapes surrounding it. Her proportions are deliberately exaggerated in the manner of stylized character fan art. The broad hips and rounded lower body contrast with her comparatively compact upper torso and angular hairstyle.
Thighs and Legs Her legs extend downward from the wide hip area. They are thick and rounded at the upper portions, then gradually narrow as they approach the lower legs. The thighs are particularly prominent, with a soft, curved outline that continues the rounded shape of her hips. Their proportions are stylized and exaggerated, matching the artwork's overall cartoon aesthetic. The inner contours of her legs create a narrow separation between them, while the outer contours remain broad and curved. This establishes a relatively balanced lower-body silhouette beneath the wider hips. Her legs are rendered in the same dark shadow-gray coloring as the rest of her body. Thin black outlines and subtle tonal changes suggest the transition from thigh to knee and lower leg.
Devil Tail A long, pointed devil-like tail extends behind her body. It is one of the most important supernatural features in her design, distinguishing her from an ordinary shadow-themed human character. The tail is dark and slender, with a curved shape that follows the outline of her body and hair. Its base is partly obscured by the surrounding silhouette, making the exact attachment point difficult to determine. The tail curves outward and then tapers toward a pointed end. Its overall shape suggests a stylized demonic tail rather than an ordinary animal tail. The dark coloring blends with her hair and body, but the outline remains sufficiently distinct to communicate its presence. The pointed tip reinforces the angular motifs already established by her spiky hairstyle. The tail contributes to her mischievous, otherworldly appearance and complements the character reference's description of her as a shadow-like counterpart with demonic features.
Clothing Style and Outfit Her clothing follows a subdued, dark streetwear-inspired aesthetic associated with the broader Boyfriend character concept. In the supplied artwork, however, the exact details of the outfit are not fully distinguishable because the clothing and body share nearly identical dark tones. The upper garment appears fitted, while the lower silhouette is dominated by the shape of her hips and legs. The overall presentation is much more focused on her shadowy anatomy, hair, and supernatural details than on elaborate fashion accessories. The character reference mentions a backward cap, a short-sleeved T-shirt bearing a prohibition symbol, baggy pants, and sneakers. Those are useful elements of the broader design description, but they are not all clearly identifiable in the provided drawing. In particular, the image does not show a clearly separated cap, a readable prohibition symbol, or distinct sneaker construction. For this specific artwork, the most accurate description is that her clothing is dark, close in color to her shadow-like body, and minimally detailed, with the heart motifs serving as the most recognizable decorative elements.
Accessories and Decorative Details Her accessories are sparse and understated. The heart-shaped emblem on her upper torso and the smaller motif near her waist are the clearest visible decorations. No unmistakable earrings, bracelets, rings, or elaborate necklaces can be identified with confidence from the image. The dark shading and overlapping hair make it difficult to determine whether some small shapes represent accessories or simply parts of her silhouette. The reference description suggests that the upper heart could be a necklace or a central design motif. Since no clear chain or pendant attachment is visible, describing it as a heart emblem is the most reliable interpretation. The simplicity of these details is consistent with the rest of her design: her supernatural facial features, enormous hair, and devil tail are much more visually important than conventional jewelry.
Pose and Body Language She is posed in a mostly frontal, upright stance. Her torso faces toward the viewer, allowing the broad shape of her upper body, waist, and hips to remain visible.
Her head is slightly tilted, while her hair spreads around it in an irregular, flowing arrangement. This prevents the pose from feeling completely symmetrical or rigid.
Her arms are held close to the sides of her body, although the precise placement of her hands is obscured by the overlapping contours of her figure. Her legs extend downward with a slight separation between them, giving her a stable, standing posture.
Her tail and long hair extend behind and around her body, creating additional curves that make the overall silhouette more dynamic. The pointed hair locks contrast with the rounded outline of her torso and hips.
Her posture feels relaxed rather than overtly aggressive. Combined with her expressive glowing eye and mouth, the pose gives her a confident, slightly mischievous presence.
Facial Expression and Mood Her expression is one of the most distinctive aspects of the artwork. The bright white eye and mouth stand out against her otherwise dark face, creating a strong focal point.
The visible eye has a sharp, energetic appearance. Because the other eye is concealed, her expression feels asymmetrical and mysterious rather than openly cheerful or neutral.
Her mouth appears to form an expressive, mischievous smile. Its bright shape suggests playful confidence, although the limited detail makes it difficult to determine the exact emotional nuance.
The combination of a partially concealed face, luminous facial features, and an upright pose gives her an enigmatic personality. She appears self-assured and slightly impish, with an underlying supernatural menace.
Her expression balances the cute, stylized qualities of her proportions with the eerie qualities of her shadow-like coloring.
Color Palette, Shading, and Linework The artwork uses a restricted palette dominated by charcoal gray, near-black, and muted gray highlights. The background is also dark, with a vignette that becomes darker around the edges and subtly frames the character.
The brightest elements are the white eye, mouth, and small heart-shaped details. These isolated highlights guide the viewer's attention toward her face and upper torso.
Her hair and body are distinguished primarily by variations in gray and by the direction of the linework. Deep black outlines define the outer silhouette, individual hair locks, and selected body contours.
The shading is soft and sketch-like rather than highly polished. Some outlines appear slightly irregular, which gives the artwork a hand-drawn quality. The figure's rounded areas use gradual gray transitions, while the hair and tail rely on sharper edges.
The background contains no prominent objects or scenery. Its darkness emphasizes the character's silhouette and supports the impression that she is emerging from a shadowy environment.
Supernatural Aura and Character Design Identity Female Soul BF's supernatural identity comes from the interaction between her dark body, glowing facial details, pointed hair, and devil-like tail. No single feature establishes the entire effect; rather, the combination creates a cohesive shadow-creature design.
Her dark surface makes her appear less like an ordinarily colored human and more like a living silhouette. The glowing eye and mouth suggest that her face contains an unnatural source of light, while the tail adds an explicitly demonic visual element.
The heart motifs provide a counterbalance to these unsettling features. Their rounded, recognizable shapes introduce a playful quality that contrasts with the sharpness of her hair and the darkness of her body.
The Neuroses variation described in the reference intensifies this supernatural identity through luminous horns and additional glowing body regions. These details suggest a heightened or altered form, distinct from the more subdued appearance in the supplied drawing.
Final Design Summary Female Soul BF is a stylized feminine shadow counterpart to Boyfriend, recognizable by her enormous, dark, spiky hair, partially concealed face, single prominent glowing white eye, luminous mouth, and monochromatic charcoal-gray body. Her silhouette combines angular hair spikes and a pointed devil tail with a rounded torso, narrow waist, broad hips, and thick, curved legs.
Her clothing is dark and understated, blending visually with her shadow-like anatomy. A white outlined heart on her upper torso and a smaller decorative motif near her waist provide the clearest accents beyond her face. Her arms rest close to her body, and she stands upright in a mostly frontal pose, with her head slightly tilted and her hair and tail extending around her silhouette.
The overall design balances eerie supernatural qualities with cute, stylized proportions and a mischievous expression. Her dark palette, luminous facial features, pointed silhouette, and restrained decorative details make her immediately recognizable as a shadow-themed feminine counterpart to Boyfriend, while the additional glowing horns and illuminated areas described for Neuroses provide a more overtly supernatural variation.
