- #1Siegfried Schtauffen
Keys: Siegfried
Age 30 Siegfried Schtauffen (ジークフリート・シュタウフェン, Jīkufurīto Shutaufen?, German: Siegfried Schützen) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. He appeared in the game Soulcalibur VI, which marks his debut appearance in the new, rebooted Soulcalibur timeline. Siegfried Schtauffen was the son of the knight Frederick Schtauffen, but joined a bandit group known as Schwarzwind, becoming particularly close friends with Salia Olschmidt. During a raid on some knights who had deserted from the army, Siegfried decapitated their leader only to discover that he had killed his own father. Horrified, Siegfried convinced himself that someone else had done it and became obsessed with revenge, searching for the legendary weapon Soul Edge. Eventually finding it in Valencia Port, he claimed the cursed blade for himself and was Malfested, triggering the event known as the Evil Seed. Upon claiming Soul Edge, an entity from Astral Chaos entered Siegfried's mind and assumed the form of a silver-haired boy, manipulating him into embracing Soul Edge's will and becaming the monstrous warrior known as Nightmare.
The giant two-handed sword used by this style both fortress and weapon. Slash follows slash as intricate stance shifts allow its user to compensate for the blade's weight-indeed, to use it to quickly transition to yet another block or strike, confounding an opponent and breaking their guard. When on the defensive, mighty blows made with all the wielder's spirit behind them are powerful enough to shatter boulders, and can instantly turn a losing battle into a triumphant victory
After losing to Kilik and his comrades in the form of Nightmare, Siegfried awakened in an unfamiliar place. Though his consciousness was free from Soul Edge's grasp, he was unable to free himself from the unforgiving memories of his time spent as the cursed sword's puppet. Before long he was confronted with a memory he'd kept repressed deep inside: the memory of having killed his own father... "What have I done...?" he groaned. The remains of Soul Edge lay at his feet... For Siegfried, his true nightmare had only just begun. Siegfried appears as a physically-fit young man with long blond hair and a scar across his right eye. He is clad in a suit of ornate steel plate armor and a long white scarf, with his upper body bare under the armor. Underneath his right gauntlet there are bandages, to conceal his previously malfested arm, which is now ashen due to it.
After murdering his father by accident, Siegfried lost his sanity - convincing himself that someone else had done it - and became obsessed with revenge, seeking out Soul Edge for the power it would give him. Inferno took advantage of this, impersonating his father's ghost to manipulate him into becoming the malfested warrior Nightmare.
A massive blade that Siegfried found to replace the cursed sword. The name Midnight Requiem embodies Siegfried's regret over his deeds as Nightmare. He wishes to settle the score with the cursed sword to atone for the father he killed and the people whose lives he took, even if that means he will face grave hardships along the way.
- #2Kilik
Keys: Kilik
Age 26 Kilik (キリク, Kiriku) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. He appeared in the game Soulcalibur VI, which marks his debut appearance in the new, rebooted Soulcalibur timeline. Ling-Sheng Su was a temple famous for its martial arts practices. The monks there took in Kilik, who was abandoned as a child, and raised him to be a proficient fighter. Although he never knew his true family, he looked up to Xianglian like a sister. Both orphans, they were rarely seen apart, and would train together constantly to the point where the bond between them was stronger than even that of siblings. They grew into proficient warriors, and their efforts were rewarded with them being chosen to inherit one of the temple’s three sacred treasures each. However, on the night before the official handover ceremony, fate began to stir Kilik is a fair-skinned young man with a slim but well built physique, medium-length brown hair and brown eyes, possessing a distinct V-shaped scar on his left cheek.
When he uses Soul Charge, he becomes possessed. This causes his hair to grow much longer, glowing marks to appear on his body, and his eye color to glow red. Personality
Kilik is a simple-minded man, mostly focused on his training and sometimes oblivious whenever his companions are talking to him. But he is constantly haunted by the memories of the Ling-Sheng-Su massacre, which included Xianglian's death at his own hands. It is only when he was consulted by Sophitia that he was able to let go of his past and move on. Costumes
Kilik's outfit is a callback to Soulcalibur, with the Dvapara-Yuga worn around his chest, and the addition of a half cloak on his left side. His Color 1 is his iconic red suit with grey metal accessories. The staff used by this fighting style has a long reach, but can capably respond to enemy attacks at any distance. Additionally, the vast number of defensive moves available make practitioners tough to take down. While the soul charge is activated, offensive strength rises, but at the cost of the user's life being slowly drained.
- #3Ivy
Keys: Ivy, Isabell, Valentine
Age 34 Isabella "Ivy" Valentine (Japanese: イザベラ・バレンタイン - アイヴィー, Izabera Barentain - Aivī) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. Daughter of the English aristocratic family the Valentines, Ivy was raised in a loving environment. Unfortunately, it was not to last. Her father’s insanity and excessive spending drove him to an early grave, followed shortly afterwards by her mother. While mourning, Ivy discovered her father was an alchemist obsessed with finding Soul Edge, which he believed was the key to immortality. She understood why Soul Edge was referred to as the cursed sword, and vowed to destroy the blade that had driven her father to madness. In order to do so, however, she would first require a stronger weapon… She threw herself into alchemy in the hope of discovering one. Ivy retains her original timeline appearance, possessing a tall and curvaceous build, pale skin, short white hair, blue eyes, and a large bust. And red plumped lips from lipstick Personality
After losing her adopted father to his obsession, Ivy swore to destroy Soul Edge and avenge her father. When she became a member of Schwarzstrom, she was the only member of the group that disliked taking lives to aid Nightmare in his goal of resurrecting his father. When confonted with the truth of her real father by Taki, Ivy was unable to acknowledge the truth at first, but later accepted her fate and vowed to find a way to rid of her cursed blood. When confronting Seong Mi-na, Ivy displayed haughtiness when she insulted the younger warrior for her naivety. When she fights Seong Mi-na or other younger female warriors, Ivy displays a dominating personality as she taunts them for their inferiority. Costumes
Ivy's costume was designed with the word "dominatrix" in mind. Her Color 1 is a purple revealing outfit with indigo "cups" with matching purple boots and gold armor plates. Guilty Throne: When Ivy's Critical Edge is engaged, she spins her snake sword around her body, hitting her opponent (Mid) 8 times before launching them into the air. If even a single hit makes unblocked contact with the opponent, they will be launched. Once in the air the Critical Edge is in cutscene mode and cannot be stopped. Ivy sends her blade pieces at the airborne target before binding them and pulling them into the ground at her feet. She finishes the move by stomping the opponent on the head, pinning them to the ground.
Armed with a snake sword whose shape can be changed at will, users can deftly avoid close quarters combat with techniques that keep foes at bay. Equipped with powerful moves that can only be activated at a certain distance, this style is made to deal out major damage from far away. [3] Ivy Blade
A one-handed magic sword that can transform into a whip. It is loyal to its owner and will cut down all who stand in her way. Seeing the way it attacks its opponent, you would think it was... alive.
The fruit of Ivy’s research was a magic sword she called “Ivy Blade.” It was a unique weapon capable of shapeshifting according to her will, at times acting like a sword to slice her enemy to pieces, and at others like a whip to grab or lash them. However, none of this would mean anything without the cooperation of one particular individual At the start of her journey, Ivy encountered Seong Mi-na and easily defeated her, warning her later that she was too weak.
After killing many innocent lives to feed Soul Edge, Ivy started to doubt Nightmare's goal of resurrecting her father. As she tried to leave Ostrheinsburg, she was confronted by Astaroth, who bluntly told her that the Soul Edge she sought to destroy was in front of her all along. After Ivy won their fight, she was called a "spare vessel" by Astaroth before he departed to deal with other intruders
- #4Astaroth
Keys: Astaroth
Age “unknown” Astaroth (アスタロス, Asutarosu), also known as Azr Ss Trzaous is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. Kunpaetku, Grand High Priest of the evil cult Fygul Cestemus, oversaw the creation of a golem by the name of Astaroth in accordance with the absolute rule of their god—none other than Ares, the God of War himself. Imbued with the strength of the "agent of death" Ker as well as the martial experience of highly skilled warriors, the merciless golem was the perfect warrior to serve the cult, who lived according to a doctrine of destruction and rebirth. All too aware of his mission, the creature set out in search of the cursed sword.
After making contact with Nightmare, Astaroth became part of the Azure Knight's group. Once the weakened Soul Edge has been completely restored, all the golem had to do was crush the knight and steal it. Astaroth is identical in appearance to his original timeline counterpart, though with dark gray skin and an exaggerated physique featuring a massive upper torso supported by comparatively average legs. The scars from his core also stretch over to his backside and legs. Personality
Like his original counterpart, Astaroth is a psychotic and bloodthirsty warrior who relishes at the sight and sound of death, using any excuse he can to maim anyone in his way who aggravates him, which is most people at most times. Unlike before though, the memories of fallen warriors implanted in Astaroth along with Ker's insights, have given him heightened intelligence and clarity and he takes great joy and satisfaction in fooling his enemies into thinking he is a dim-witted brute when in reality he is much more cunning than he appears. Astaroth's clothing is similar to his original counterpart though his armor is a bit oversized in comparison. He also now wears a collar fashioned after a snake, the symbol of Fygul Cestemus. A giant ax forged for Astaroth. In the language of the cult who created him, its name means "Merciless Destroyer". The seal engraved on it bestows its wielder great strength and fighting skills.
Kulutues When Astaroth takes hold of the weapon, he lives up to the weapon's name with his insatiable appetite for death and carnage. His large frame allows him to dish out heavy blows that can crumple an opponent's armor or shield while simultaneously crushing their bodies and breaking their bones.
- #5Azwel
Keys: Azwel
Age “unknown” Azwel (アズウェル, Azuweru) is a brand new character in the Soul series of fighting games. He first appeared in Soulcalibur VI Self-proclaimed "Studier of the Human Race," Azwel's love for mankind bordered on the fanatical. Blessed with an almost otherworldly intelligence, he was a scholar in numerous fields, including history, medicine, war and art. His research into human history in particular led him to conclude that people would eventually destroy themselves through war or some other catastrophe. In response, he decided to become the savior of humanity. As a member of the Aval Organization, he conducted research at a lightning pace, and concluded that by causing the powerful Evil Seed, humanity would be taken to its next level. Azwel's was such that it might soon rival even that of the gods themselves. Azwel is a middle aged man of average size with sickly pale skin and scar-like markings stretching across his body, many of which meet at the center of his forehead and shoulder length purple hair. When Soul Charged, his markings glow purple and his eyes a bright yellow, with arms covered in a red and blue crystalline material. Personality
Azwel is a cunning and charismatic genius who possesses mannerisms of a playwright with a messiah complex who advocates his love for humanity. Underneath it all, however, Azwel comes off as an irredeemably cruel, self-aggrandizing, spiteful, and sociopathic sadist. His warped idea of "love" for humans is merely a front for his own self-gratification and can be likened to psychological abuse and emotional manipulation, which he mercilessly inflicts on his victims, especially through his experiments. He also showed no hesitation in remorselessly murdering any high-ranking members of the Aval Organization when they became suspicious of his disloyal schemes, including Grøh's master, Orzal. Costumes
Azwel wears a dark robe, the lower portion of which has several yellow tails covering the legs, and the upper portion of which has a golden stole around it. Both his upper and lower portion feature an eye decoration. His weapon, the Palindrome, appears as a pair of golden gauntlets with fragments of the cursed and spirit swords embedded on the back of the hands. This style grants the unique ability to produce dual swords, a giant axe, and a spear-and-shield combination out of thin air. Not technically a fighting style per se, the combat techniques used here are a product of Azwel's "martial philosophy and theory," and the weapons crafted from a special device he made in his pursuit of "saving" the human race.
Beyond simple slashes and strikes, this style boasts a host of unorthodox techniques-weapons are turned into projectiles, and blades are even manipulated mid-air to fall upon a surprised opponent in one deadly rush.
Palindrome The right gauntlet-like device is fitted with a fragment of the cursed sword; the left, a fragment of the spirit sword. Mechanisms send carefully tuned waves to the fragments, and data (martial philosophy and practical theory) retrieved from them—formulated from memories of past battles—are translated into physical movements. In addition to simply replicating combat techniques, the device can also be used to manifest weaponry out of thin air.
- #6Amy
Keys: Amy
Age “18” Amy Sorel (エイミ・ソレル, Eimi Soreru) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. A girl Raphael saved while on the run. She grew up like a feral cat in the slums of Rouen, France, where she developed a dislike for soldiers and authority. As such she lied in order to hide Raphael, saving his life and melting his cold, cold heart in the process. In fact, it was the first time in his life he truly appreciated the existence of another. Amy, too, only ever opened up to him. Before she met Raphael, she almost never spoke, instead keeping her feelings locked up inside in order to protect herself. But as she grew closer to him, she was finally able to reclaim some semblance of her lost youth. Amy left Rouen with Raphael, and he taught her the art of swordsmanship so she could protect herself. The keen sense of awareness she had cultivated while living in the slums meant she was a fast learner, surprising her teacher. In battle, her preternaturally sharp senses more than make up for her lack of experience and comparatively slight frame. When Raphael was able to acquire status and a home in the south of France, he formally adopted Amy. Even so, she never refers to herself as Amy Sorel. Born in the slums of Rouen in the French Empire, Amy grew up in a cold world full of violence and cynicism. She quickly became resigned to her circumstances, convinced that hope was nothing more than fuel for despair. Amy retains her physical appearance from the original timeline, with her slim, small stature, red hair and green eyes. Her signature drill curled pigtails however are curled more tightly rather than looser like her original appearance and her bangs are shorter and less shaggy. She now also has a scar on her left leg from her childhood injury. Personality
Amy retains her cold and aloof demeanor from the original timeline, caring only for Raphael. Her voice indicates that she rarely shows emotions when not near Raphael.
Despite her cynical worldview, Amy finds happiness once she is raised and nourished by Raphael. She herself is shown to be worried of Raphael's well-being to the point she would embark on her journey to find him. Amy is shown to be weary of Azwel's motives, given that he manipulated her father into finding Soul Edge. Additionally, Amy is easily vexed by Azwel's flamboyant and pompous mannerisms, as shown in her dialogues when fighting him. Costumes
Amy's primary outfit, ever since her adoption by Raphael, consists of a plum and black gothic Lolita outfit, which consists of a black corset and skirt underneath a plum dress. She also wears black arm warmers and thigh-high stockings underneath black gloves on the hands and plum shoes on the feet repsectively. She wears a purple headdress, and her rose ornament is purple in this outfit.
Albion
When Raphael was betrayed and cornered by his own kind, it was Amy that came to his rescue, and from that day forward, his entire life changed. Amy became both his symbol of hope and the one person in the world he lived for.
When Amy had mastered the sword arts from Raphael’s lessons, he gave her a rapier as a gift.
- #7Cassandra
Keys: Cassandra, Alexandra
Age “19” Cassandra Alexandra (カサンドラ・アレクサンドル, Kasandora Arekusandoru) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. Sophitia's younger sister and fellow poster child for the bakery, Cassandra Alexandra lives a carefree life with no mind for romance. Even after her older sister became close with the young blacksmith Rothion, no rumors made the rounds about her own love life. In contrast to her more composed and mature sister, she exhibits bolder, more unrestrained behavior that often startles those around her. She's curious, active, and something of a tomboy. At home, though, Sophitia keeps her wild younger sister firmly reined in. Cassandra is intrigued by her sister's first experience with romance, so much so that she even tails the two lovebirds on many of their dates. Cassandra, the daughter of an Athenian baker. Some time had passed since her sister Sophitia postponed her wedding and vanished, leaving only a note. After their mother fell ill from anxiety, Cassandra and her brother Lucius became tasked with running the bakery day in and day out.
Secretly, Cassandra had a feeling she knew where Sophitia had gone. Three years prior, her sister had returned from a journey to "destroy the evil sword Soul Edge," an explanation her family had a difficult time accepting. After all, who would believe a god had entrusted the destruction of such a dangerous sword to a mortal? As it turns out, Cassandra believed her sister, having met the ninja Taki, who had saved Sophitia's life.
Cassandra's physical appearance is relatively the same compared to the original, save for a larger bust, shapely legs, and slightly longer blonde hair. Personality
In contrast to her sister Sophitia, who is kind and humble, Cassandra is feisty, hot-blooded and boisterous. When it comes to helping others correcting their mistakes, she literally bangs them in the head to get her point across. Cassandra has stated that she hates people who hides secrets, but she ends up keeping some very major secrets to herself, such as the truth of her quest, and the fragment of Soul Edge that is too close to her sister's heart. Unlike her original timeline counterpart, Cassandra is more lenient in using Hephaestus's power in battle, though she is not as devoted to the god as Sophitia is. Costumes
Cassandra sports a dress featuring a white, yellow and amber color scheme, along with the addition of a bright blue scarf, white gloves and boots and brown stockings. She keeps her hair in a ponytail with a white ribbon. In her fight against Sophitia, Cassandra wears a silver eye mask she received from her original counterpart.
Owl Shield and Omega Sword (Original)
A sword and shield entrusted to a holy warrior by the god of smithing, Hephaestus. They were once used by Sophitia in her quest to destroy Soul Edge. After destroying one of its two parts, she placed the sword and shield in a shrine, where they remained under the careful watch of the heavens.
Even now, they continue to benefit from the blessing of the gods. Their latent divine power alone exceeds that of Sophitia's current sword and shiel with electric like abilities.
- #8Cervantes
Keys: Cervantes
Age “unknown” Cervantes de León (セルバンテス・デ・レオン, Serubantesu de Reon) is a character in the Soul series Soul Edge was clawed back from the depths of history by the great pirate Captain Cervantes, who used it to usher in a reign of carnage around him as it manipulated his mind. Then, for twenty years, the sword lay dormant. It desired to be as strong as it had once been, but its plans were thwarted by a by a ninja and a warrior. When Cervantes was defeated, he was consumed by the fires of hell, and his body turned to ash... One day, the new owner of the sword, Nightmare, came to investigate Cervantes’ corpse, but left without noticing the small glimmer of light emitting from the body. The cursed sword had once again set the terrible wheels of fate moving.
The great pirate Cervantes was able to revive himself. Cervantes retains his looks from his Soulcalibur V body but with purple skin and glowing orange markings, as well as thicker facial hair, signifying Malfestation. Personality
After his resurrection, Cervantes lacked any memories of his past - though he started regaining them at the same time when he begin attacking his own former crew member, which awakened his sadistic bloodlust and revenge. Realizing that he could regain his memories by killing people and absorbing their souls, he embarked on a killing spree, including on taking his daughter's soul at most part. Becoming obsessed with reclaiming Soul Edge yet realizing that if he did so he would be enslaved by it again, Cervantes decided to bide his time until he had become strong enough to dominate Soul Edge with his own will and become its master once more. Costumes
Cervantes wears a purple pirate outfit consisting of a purple hat, coat, black pants and gloves, and golden armor plates. The fighting style features a weighty longsword paired with a dagger/gun combination, and requires superhuman strength and skill to wield effectively. A forceful strike can turn the tide of battle in one fell swoop, while combos that utilize both weapons leave no openings for an enemy to exploit. The gun can be used to hit an opponent from a distance, blindingly fast leaps can close the gap and impale them, and inhumanity high jumps can be used to come at them from above. With such a wide range of moves, what is a challenger to do?
This style even utilizes wall to further broaden its rage of attacks, climbing and kicking off of them to launch fierce combinations. Anyone bombarded by this style's many fearsome techniques will soon find themselves consigned to Davy Jones' Locker. Acheron & Nirvana
Acheron has been the pirate Cervantes’ sword since he plundered it from its hapless former owner, sometime during his reign of dread over the Atlantic Ocean.
Nirvana is a dagger whose hilt houses a pistol. While pistols of the time were still relatively unimpressive, shooting an opponent could open up a gap in their defense, allowing for a fierce follow-up blow. The gun dagger was a gift from the Italian weapons dealer Vercci, and symbolizes the twisted connection between the feared pirate and the Merchant of Death.
- #9Grøh
Keys: Groh, Grøh
Age 36 Grøh (グロー, Gurō) is a brand new character in the Soul series of fighting games The mysterious Aval Organization was a secret group with origins rooted in ancient times. They say the group came about when the King used the Spiritual Sword to defeat his cursed counterpart and, with his dying breath, entrusted the blade and his unfinished mission to them. Each new generation has taken on the group's mission to rid the world of "outsiders" - those bound by the cursed sword
One such member was Grøh, about whom little is known save for that he was a fearsome warrior. Though his fighting style is shrouded in mystery, he is believed to have wielded two swords. Some also say he kept a certain technique close to his chest Grøh’s fate is determined by two factors: the direction in which the Conduit’s spirit scale is leaning towards, and the sword they used to defeat Azwel. Grøh will either die by the Conduit’s hands and will be buried (Evil/Soul Edge), or will be spared and make a promise to his comrade to use his powers for good (Good/Soul Calibur).
Physical Appearance
Grøh is a pale young man with white hair streaked with indigo. He wears his organization's signature eye patch, which contains a glowing blue part utilized for detecting Outsiders. His overall attire is gray and black, while the gauntlet on his left arm (which prevents his ill-fitting) is also indigo. Grøh's Soul Charge activates Malfestation, causing his hair to turn red and soar, and his eyes to turn a glowing red. His left arm is covered in scars from his wrist to his shoulder. These scars glow during Soul Charge. Costumes
Grøh's primary costume is the standard color of the Aval Organization: black clothes with purple accents.
Grøh is usually a taciturn young man who is all about business; carrying out orders and missions with unwavering conviction. Despite his standoffish nature, he is not without emotion or compassion for others, particularly his allies Curtis, Natalie, Dion and later the Conduit, the protagonist of Libra of Soul. He also served as a hero and inspiration to the Aval Organization as a whole. His relationship with the Conduit is noticeably much stronger; while initially suspicious of them, he grows to greatly respect them.
Arondight Replica
Arondight, lauded as the pride of all knights, was wielded by many champions, and its power allowed them to achieve great deeds in battle. Alas, the sword has long been lost, and the one Grøh wield is an extremely well-made replica. That being said, it was forged using superlative techniques, and its sharpness equals if not surpasses the original.
The Aval Organization keeps many replicas of legendary swords such as Arondight, but insists that only one replica per sword be made. This is to ensure the swords remain symbols of the organization’s creed, pride, and glory. Accordingly, only the warriors whom the organization considers the best of the best to wield them.
- #10Haohmaru
Keys: Haohmaru
Age “47” Haohmaru (覇王丸, Haōmaru; also can be written as "Haoumaru") is the protagonist of SNK's Samurai Shodown series and one of the series's most known characters, the other being Nakoruru. Just as he narrowly wrenched victory from the jaws of death, Haohmaru heard a mysterious voice speak directly in his mind. When he demanded to know who addressed him, however, he was met with silence. As if trying to pin down the figureless voice with his gaze, he looked every which way, and it was only then that he realized he was on Gairyu Isle. His last memory was fighting a duel to the death in a place far away from this island. Even so, his trusty blade Fugudoku still bore the signs of having freshly cut down an enemy.
Deciding he’d much rather act than stay put, Haohmaru headed toward the place he last remembered being. But something felt strange, and it wasn’t long before Haohmaru discovered the source of that uneasiness: he had been transported roughly two hundred years before his own birth, to the era of Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s rule. Physical Appearance
Haohmaru is a muscular well-built man with wild long black hair tied into a large mane. Personality
Confident in his abilities, Haohmaru enjoys the thrill of fighting against strong opponents. Seeking enlightenment with each encounter, he constantly journeys in order to improve himself. As he gets older, he feels less inclined to fight and will try to avoid it if possible.
Outside of battle, Haohmaru is a crude but easy-going man, caring only for sake and food. He has a romantic interest in a simple girl named Oshizu ("O" added as an honorific prefix). Haohmaru's first costume is his classic appearance in all of the Samurai Shodown games, sans Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage. He wears a white samurai haori with the sleeves rolled up to his shoulders and triangular, black trim. The haori is tied at the waist with a red sash (uwa-obi). Haohmaru also wears matching hakama with black trim and tattered hems, white tabi-socks, straw samurai sandals (or waraji), and red wraps around each wrist. Fugudoku
A sturdy sword crafted on a certain master swordsman’s whims. On its blade is inscribed the phrase “Namu Amida Butsu.” Its great length and the density of the ore used in its forging give it an abnormally heavy weight, making it difficult for the average samurai to lift, let alone draw from its sheath. Rumors eventually spread that even demons could not wield it freely, and soon Fugudoku was entrusted to the temple of Todai-ji in Nara, where it lay forgotten for many years.
- #11Inferno
Keys: Inferno
Age “unknown” Inferno (インフェルノ Inferuno) is a character in the Soul series. He appeared in the game Soulcalibur VI Inferno is the embodiment of Soul Edge’s will, an evil amalgam of all the warriors’ souls it has claimed. Nobody knows that it he wants exactly. Some say he just obeys his desire to fight, malm, and gather souls. The eerie fire that surrounds him is the result of all the souls the sword has reaped being burned to fuel.
Harvested from the souls it has collected, Inferno possesses a deep knowledge of all fighting techniques – allowing it to use any weapon style with a phenomenal degree of skill. Though its power defies standard means of measurement – it easily transcends that of any of its previous vessels. Inferno now appears as a more humanoid-looking burning skeletal demon with purplish red flames as opposed to a will-o-the-wisp in the original. Personality
Inferno wants to consume any soul that dare to cross his path, while also trying to get rid of the only thing that can stop him (it's purified shard that became the Spirit Sword). Though in his real form, while he acts like a mindless beast that roars and rampages around, he is actually cunning, malfesting people and manipulating his host to do his bidding in completing the Soul Edge by impersonating anyone close to them. Costumes
Inferno's Color 1 has his signature red flames Soul Edge
The cursed sword Soul Edge has maintained the form of Siegfried's weapon, the Zweihänder. However, whether it has done this intentionally or not is unclear.
Inferno is the true form of Soul Edge, and what makes it so fearsome is its deep knowledge of fighting techniques, which allow it to use any weapon style with a phenomenal degree of skill. Those its power defies standard means of measurement, if you are comparing only skill with weaponry, it easily transcends that of any of its previous vessels.
- #12Hilde
Keys: Hilde
Age “18” Hildegard von Krone (ヒルデガルド・フォン・クローネ Hirudegarudo fon Kurōne), or Hilde (ヒルダ Hiruda) for short Hilde was born princess of Wolfkrone, a small kingdom along the banks of the Rhine. Though she lost her mother and brother to sickness in her youth, she grew into a strong and willful young lady under the mentorship of her beloved father.
As a child, Hilde was unusually sprightly. Born into the royal family, she was expected to excel in both strength and wisdom. But even as her familial duties demanded she stay inside the castle to study, she would often slip out from under her vassals’ watchful gaze to play in the fields with commoner children, only returning home when exhausted from her sport. Hilde maintains her original appearance of a young beautiful red-haired woman with red eyes and a beauty mark near the lower right side of her lips. Personality
Like in her previous installments, Crown Princess-Regent Hilde is a brave and emotionally strong princess. She is also quite honorable as can be seen in her quotes as well as expressing her willingness and passion to help the citizens of Wolfkrone against threats, like the malfested. She has wisdom beyond her years, taking the oath as regent to ascend the throne in lieu of her father in her preadolescent years, later taking duties as commander-in-chief of the Wolfkrone army at only 18. Costumes
Hilde wears a suit of armor consisting of a golden cuirass under a red royal coat with a white fur pelt adorned with golden gauntlets, and wears a matching golden crown. Underneath her armor is what appears to be a black dress skirt over black chain mail adorned with golden greaves.
Glänzende Nova & Frischer Himmel The treasured sword and spear of legend, once wielded by the founder and first king of Wolfkrone. Though the original weapons have long been lost, this pair made in their image has been passed down through the royal family for generations as a symbol of the kingdom.
Whenever Wolfkrone has fallen in peril, these weapons have glittered in the hands of a champion standing on the front lines, face-to-face with danger. The sight of them has always given courage to the people, awakening the valorous blood in their veins even as darkness threatened to engulf them.
In times long past, the founder king wielded Soul Calibur to repel Soul Edge’s malice.
- #13Hwang
Keys: Hwang, Hwang Seong-gyeong
Age “26” Hwang Seong-gyeong (ファン・ソンギョン, Fan Songyon, Hanja: 黄星京, Hangul: 황성경) is a character in the Soul series. It is difficult to survive this turbulent world, especially if one grows straight without refraction. Hwang Seong-gyeong, an orphan taken in by the legendary swordsman Seong Han-myeong - renowned as a god of war, grew up to become one of the strongest, and most-selfless people in Korea. There is no doubt that the introduction to the Naruya style dojo and the mastery of swordsmanship helped. It was not only in the sword technique but also in the personality that was found in the swordsman Seong Han-myeong. Raised alongside Han-myeong's daughter Seong Mi-na, Hwang came to regard her as a sister.
When the news came that Japan, a neighboring country across the sea, was being unified, fears of a potential invasion rose across Korea. Dark Thunder
Upon the Motien peaks where the energy from the heavens and earth flows freely, this black sword has bathed in the power of the cosmos for over three thousand days. It was gifted to Hwang by Won Soo-hyun, master of the Taoist traditions of the Six Heavenly Arts. The power within the blade both stabilizes and boosts the effects of Hwang's talismans. He has spiky short hair with brown eyes and a sharp chin and a toned body with a yellow head band two massive twin swords a long cloth around his neck that reaches his back like a scarf his outfit is black his golden armored boots colored with gold lining and covered with raven feathers.
- #14Malfested
Keys: Malfested
A Malfested (referred to as Evils (イヴィル, Ivuiru?) in the Japanese version and Outsiders (異分子, Ibunshi?) by the Aval Organization) is a being corrupted by the power of Soul Edge. They serve as the primary antagonists in the Soul series. Initially thought to have been created by the Evil Seed, it is later revealed that the Evil Seed merely transformed them from humans into mutated monsters. In Soulcalibur Legends, Malfested initially were on the side of the Ottoman Empire, but after the defeat of Barbaros, they joined the Masked Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Malfested that protect shards of Soul Edge are known as Guardians. Lizardmen, Berserkers and Dragon are both types of Malfested.
Overview
Malfestation is caused by Soul Edge's curse. It is regarded as a type of cancer, or even an entirely new parasitic organism. However it causes enhanced physical abilities among its victims, and can cause victims to mutate into more powerful states of being when they experience intense emotion. It can also causes some victims to gain what appears to be some kind of immortality.
The traits gained by the victims are possibly based on their personality and physique, as Tira may have stopped aging due to being part of a clan that valued survival above all else. Male Malfested often display physical transformations while females generally don't, though exceptions like Pyrrha Omega, and Maki exist. When Cervantes became malfested, he was a zombie due to being revived by Soul Edge. When Raphael and Amy became malfested, they gained vampiric traits and abilities.
Malfested animals that act as minions for Soul Edge are known as Watchers. Cervantes' shark, Nightmare's hawk, and Tira's crows are examples of Watchers. Malfested: Regular malfested only features their glowing eye pupils. By giving in to the evil they can push their body to the limit to gain enhanced strength and speed. Malfested (Mutated): Upgraded versions of regular malfested feature not only all glowing eyes (both scalars and pupils), also featuring the marks that shows the beginning of their mutations. Some retain their sanity at this stage while most become mindless beasts. Malfested (Fully Transformed): The true final form of malfested mutation lines, transforming the host’s body parts into much more monstrous forms. However, this form is exclusive to male. Fully transformed malfested are no longer human and are avatars of pure evil, they are extremely rare and even one will cause the deaths of untold thousands.
- #15Maxi
Keys: Maxi
Age “24” Maxi (マキシ, also written as 真喜志), is a character in the Soul series. Maxi's father had worked in the Ryukyu Kingdom as a merchant. Though fortunate enough to be able to experience different cultures on his trade route, he nevertheless felt tied down to his job, and would complain bitterly to his son. On his deathbed, he told Maxi to go out and see the world. Obeying his father's dying wishes, Maxi gathered friends from his hometown and some sailors he knew, and formed a pirate crew. A master of his native Ryukyu's martial arts, Maxi stood as a respected and trusted leader. He and his crew set sail, vowing never to be shackled by the whims of trade, and instead to relish the taste of freedom. At an Indian port, Maxi was away from his crew when they were attacked by Astaroth and a swarm of Lizardmen. When he returned, he found his entire crew slain, and was informed by a dying Kyam to get the Dvapara-Yuga back onto Kilik to return the monk to his senses, and to take him West. Knowing that Astaroth would return for Kilik, Maxi swore to take his revenge. Maxi retains his iconic appearance with his black hair having a right side bang, tan skin, and well-toned chest. Personality
Maxi can be described as being adventurous and eager for a fight. In his story mode, he is shown to be easily gullible to attractive women, but this turned out to be a farce as he was using Lyla's connections to have one of his crew mates to forge a nunchaku out of the best material. Maxi regards his crew like his family, which made him swore revenge against Astaroth for killing them. Costumes
Maxi's outfit is his signature jacket and pants, with his chest exposed. His Color 1 is his iconic white outfit with a purple sash under his belt. Weapon & Style
Powerful and painful nunchaku combos are the name of the game. Its myriad special stances allow for a number of unique combos whose movements are difficult to predict. Smart usage of its Seven Stars Rebirth (4 or 6 while in a special stage) to change stances can make this style even more potent in the right hands. Fatibal
Nunchaku made by Yagaji, one of Maxi’s crew. Designed to complement the pirate leader’s fighting style and natural strength, they provide excellent speed, and break less easily than his other nunchaku.
- #16Mitsurugi
Keys: Mitsurugi
Age “34” Heishiro Mitsurugi (御剣 平四郎, Mitsurugi Heishirō) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games. Heishiro Mitsurugi relied on his sword to see him through the turbulence of the warring states period in his homeland, Japan. However, with the revolutionary introduction of the rifle (known as “Tanegashima”) from abroad, he felt his blade as no longer up to scratch, and so departed for foreign lands in search of Soul Edge. Alas, he returned empty handed... While back in his mother country, he entered a tournament that saw him pitted against Tanegashima. This too, ended in failure, when he was shot in his right shoulder. The event nevertheless inspired Mitsurugi, imbuing him with an insatiable thirst for knowledge about fighting techniques, and in time he became a truly great warrior. All that remained now was getting his hands on a powerful weapon During his journey, Mitsurugi came across Kilik and Maxi, mistaking the latter as a nunchaku wielder who wanted him dead. After a spar with the pirate, he apologized for the misunderstanding and warned the duo about Taki and her connections to Soul Edge. Mitsurugi appears as a well-built Japanese man with slightly long black hair and black eyes. He wears a red breastplate with yellow accents and matching greaves, left brace and shoulder armor, which the left one has more of an dragon-like design with another layer of sode armor coming from the mouth. He wears a black and gold haori underneath the breastplate, with the left sleeve covering his armored and gloved arm while the other is bare with a beaded bracelet, matching baggy pants with a gold tiger design on the left leg tied by a purple rope belt and a green and gold cloth covering the other leg. Personality
Mitsurugi enjoys fighting above all else, searching for worthy opponents far and wide to sharpen his skills. To the point he would go as far to search for the all-powerful weapon Soul Edge. Despite his impeccable skills with the sword, Mitsurugi's greatest weakness is not just his pride, but also his lack of common sense and knowledge; he erroneously refers Nightmare as the "Knight of Mare", and Edge Master leading him to a confrontation with Taki without realizing his true intentions. He also considers Geralt as his greatest rival, as shown in the latter's Soul Chronicle and in Libra of Soul, he desires to have a fated battle with the Witcher. Costumes
Mitsurugi's costumes are a reference to his 1P costume from Soulcalibur. His Color 1 follows the original color scheme of that costume.
Shishi-Oh
Mitsurugi decided to rethink his fighting style to combat the power of the Tanegashima. He arrived at the conclusion he needed a new blade to fit his new style.
Visiting many a swordsmith on his travels, the samurai tried out various swords, until eventually he settled on Shishi-Oh. Though neither rare nor particularly unusual, the blade is relatively long and wide. It is sharp, weighty, and cuts the air cleanly, making it ideal for Mitsurugi’s aggressive style a Katana
- #17YoRHa No.2 Type B
Keys: 2B
Age physical body “20” YoRHa No.2 Type B, or just 2B, is one of the protagonists of NieR:Automata. She is a YoRHa android created to battle the Machine lifeforms that have invaded the planet on behalf of the surviving humans. She served during the 14th Machine War. Her Type-40 Sword could also be pulled for these same periods. A long beautiful white katana she also has massive gauntlets shaped in a rusty lion heads and a massive thick two handed blade.
2B is an all-purpose battle android, deployed as a member of the automated YoRHa infantry. She is equipped with a multitude of weapons for close quarters combat and can attack from range using the Pod support system. 2B was created an unspecified amount of time before the events of the game as part of the new line of YoRHa androids. She was given the designation of 2B as a cover by the Commander, who gave her orders to observe one of the new Scanner models in action during YoRHa's operations against the machines. 2B's most striking features are the standard-issue blindfold that obscures her eyes, and the notable references to YoRHa found on her dress. She stands at a height of 168 cm, including heels. Her hair is yellowish-white, and is set in a short bob cut, and if not obscured by her blindfold, possesses blue-gray eyes. She has a beauty mark below the left side of her lips.
2B wears a high-slit black turtleneck dress which due to its nature, allows her to perform a wide arrange of moves to suit her combat style. Her dress has a high collar, and an open cleavage obscured by a lace-patterned fabric that roughly bears the logo of YoRHa. It has puffed sleeves ending in mid-forearm in the form of crow feathers, which may signify death. Inside these sleeves seemingly are white fabric reaching down to dip sharply before her hands, which are covered with black gloves. Her dress also opens in the back, exposing 2B's shoulder blades down to the small space of her back. The dress's skirt is high-slit, and is shown to be made of a flowing, flexible fabric bearing a similar texture to leather, if observed closely, the logo of YoRHa can be seen embroidered along the hem of her skirt. For her footwear, she wears brown thigh-high garter stockings with black lining underneath thigh-high black leather boots equipped with heels. Whenever 2B is in combat or self-destructs, her skirt can be damaged and/or removed completely, revealing that she wears a white leotard underneath. It is debatable if her white leotard is stitched to her remaining black blouse or she is wearing her blouse over her leotard. 2B is a blade of quiet determination. As a combat android, she does not encourage idle chatter on frivolous subjects and is generally reticent towards others. She also has high respect for the chain of command and rarely questions her orders, unlike her partner. However, 2B occasionally expresses a notably sardonic wit in the face of certain situations and can even be hot-headed at times.
2B is actually a very kind person deep down. She cares a great deal for her friends, petting her Pod as though it were a pet and going so far as to find a picture of a flower for Operator 60. She is also very respectful towards others' wishes
- #18Nightmare
Keys: Nightmare
Age “unknown” His dark, azure armor invokes the night; his helmet covers all but his red, glowing eyes; his trunk-like right arm holds a great sword with a cursed eye glaring from its center... Could such a monstrous being really exist? Appearing from out of shadows like the advent of nightfall, this barbaric knight reaps the souls of the living as if they were mere stalks of corn. His name came to represent fear and desperation to all who heard it. Those who found out that the rumors were true, that he was no fairy tale villain, would be struck down in a single blow before they could even open their mouths to scream.
Nightmare's true form belonged to Siegfried, a young man entranced by the cursed sword, Soul Edge. He killed people and claimed their souls in the hope of bringing his father Frederick back from the dead. Nightmare appears as a monstrous knight clad in gold-detailed azure armor and a tattered black cape, his right arm mutated into a grotesque three-fingered claw as a result of his Malfestation. His face and much of his body are obscured by his armor and helmet, the latter of which has two sets of fins on its back and a horn protruding from the front. Not much can be seen of Nightmare's physical appearance under his armor, with only his huge Malfested arm and glowing red eyes being visible. However, if Nightmare's helmet is broken, Siegfried's face is revealed, sporting current trademark shoulder-length blond hair and scar on right eye, while retaining the glowing red Malfested eyes. Personality
Little is presently known about Nightmare's personality beyond his insatiable bloodlust and devotion to Soul Edge, to the extent that he is an enigma even to his own minions. It is clear Nightmare's default appearance is a redesign of his Soulcalibur appearance, featuring yellow trims from his later designs and more detailing on his helmet's upward-facing fins and his pointed breastplate. He also now wears a tattered black cape, similar to an art render from Soulcalibur's art gallery. Soul Edge
Soul Edge… A sword that has left countless indelible scars on history. The cursed blade devours souls, and most warriors who have sought it out have found only a horrific death.
Its past is one of doom and destruction, and now it finds itself in the hands of the mentally unstable Siegfried. The troubled man fails to see that it controls him like a marionette, and he dances to is accursed tune.
Soul Edge takes the form of its “vessel’s” preferred weapon—in Siegfried’s case, the Zweihänder. This is so it can push its owner’s power to the limit to better claim the blood and souls it craves.
- #19Raphael
Keys: Raphael
Age 29 Raphael Sorel (ラファエル・ソレル, Rafaeru Soreru?, French: Raphaël Sorel) is a character in the Soul series. Born to France’s aristocratic Sorel family, Raphael was taught the ways of the upper classes from a young age. When he was older he learned medical practices, and was rigorously trained in the art of swordsmanship. He used his knowledge and talent with the rapier to keep his family on top during the political wars that were common in those times. His cold nature, though, gained him many enemies. When the political balance shifted during the Evil Seed event, his Family handed him over to the enemy to save themselves. Raphael escaped to the slums where he was saved by a young girl by the name of Amy. He had never known charity, so her actions touched his heart deeply, and from that moment he dedicated his life to hers. For a while he acted as a doctor to those in the slums until he confronted those who were bullying Amy for protection money (also those who hurt her leg) Raphael is a tall, handsome nobleman with blond hair and blue eyes. Personality
Having been raised in the upper classes of French nobility, Raphael is aware of the deadly game needed to survive. Cunning, intelligent, and ruthless, Raphael looks down upon most others as beneath him, simply pawns for him to use and then discard in order to further his goals.
The exception to this is Amy, the one person who ever showed him a moment of kindness. He is utterly devoted to her and decides on creating a world in which she can be happy regardless of the casualties his actions might cause. If it weren’t for Amy, Raphael would have been turned into a mindless Malfested. Costumes
Raphael has a new costume that is different from the previous games. He dons a white shirt under a black leather vest and matching gloves, with a red cape on his right shoulder and black framed glasses. He also wears blue pants with red sides and black knee-high boots. Flambert
Raphael’s only connection to the family he turned his back on is his sword, Flambert. This priceless heirloom has been wielded by the Sorel patriarch for most of the family’s history, and symbolizes their pride and prosperity. Unfortunately, this connection was broken when Raphael absconded with the blade, and soon after, the once celebrated Sorel name disappeared from the annals of French history.
Despite its effectiveness as both piercing and slicing blade and its abilities on both offense and defense, the blade is remarkable difficult to master. Only those with strength, speed, skill, and intense concentration needed to wield it in the heat of battle will be able to see this weapon’s true potential.
- #20Seong Mi-na
Keys: Seong Mi-na, Mina, Seong
Age “19” Seong Mi-na (ソン・ミナ, Son Mina, Hanja: 成美那, Hangul: 성미나) is a character in the Soul series Seong Mi-na could cope with being called a "fake boy," but this was a step too far: Han-myeong, her father and the master of the dojo where she trained, was searching for a marriage suitor for her... "You don't give a damn about I feel!" she raged. As for Hwang, who was like a brother to her, well... It wouldn't have killed him to be more understanding either. Though he'd only just arrived to meet his master, Han-myeong, Hwang decided not to stick around. To Seong Mi-na, running away from home was starting to seem more and more like an attractive idea Seong Mi-na is a woman of athletic physique, standing at 5'4, making her taller than many of her female compatriots.
Like her previous installments, she still wears an outfit where her navel exposed as well as her hairstyle in a braid, this time however braided low and with a ribbon entwined into the braid.. However, her default haircut is cut as part of her armor damage. Personality
Like her first and second appearances, Seong Mi-na is sassy, free-spirited, and has a bit of childish personality. She is a character who proves herself that she can be like Hwang who can protect her homeland despite the gender discrimination.
She is one of the few characters who does not possess any supernatural abilities/powers nor evil tainted blood, thus she relies on her strength, martial prowess, and sheer tenacity. Costumes
Seong Mi-na's outfit is a hybrid of her 1P and 3P outfits from Soul Edge.
Her Color 1 is a pink and purple palette, with Scarlet Thunder's shaft being coloured red.
Scarlet Thunder
This zanbatou has been passed down through the Seong family from generation to generation. As its appearance implies, it is quite heavy. Despite its weight, Seong Mi-na, who as a child swung Scarlet Thunder instead of playing with toys, finds it extremely easy to use.
Her choice to bring the zanbatou with her when she left home was likely not to raise the ire of her father over taking the family heirloom, Rather, it’s far more probable that she chose the weapon simply because she was so used to having it by her side. Scarlet Thunder was simply the most dependable traveling companion Seong Mi-na could have chosen.
Seong-style Longsword and Staff Techniques
As one would expect of the only daughter of the Seong Dojang master, Seong Mi-na trained fiercely in the art of the blade and acquired great strength and agility. However, after Ivy defeated her ease, Seong Mi-na was left despairing at her own weakness. But someone as fiery as Seong Mi-na could not stay gloomy for long. Much like in previous games Seong Mi-na excels in fighting from a distance using her zanbatou to perform powerful, long-reaching attacks
- #21Setsuka
Keys: Setsuka
Age “35” Setsuka (Setsuka, 雪華?) is a character in the Soul Soulcalibur VI
Snow-white skin, lustrous gold hair, and two deep-blue beads on its deeply carved face. Here in Ichii, in western Japan, its appearance is eye-catching. However, she stands still dignifiedly with a gaze directed at herself.
She wasn't wearing this nobility from the beginning. Violence in disgust, curiosity, and unspoken words that everyone in a mixed race would suffer. She too grew up in despair and closed her heart.
"I don't know the warmth of my parents." She was born aboard a ship from Portugal to Japan, and her parents died of illness without stepping on the land of Japan. The relatives unreasonably oppressed the stranger's blood-throwing daughter as the "demon girl," and finally she fled the house. Setsuka, being a mixed-race person of Japanese and Portuguese descent, has a very distinctive appearance compared to the people of Japan. She has light skin, long blonde hair, and blue eyes. Her hair is styled into a small roll adorned with a floral kanzashi. Several streaks of her hair are seemingly dyed black, perhaps as part of her attempt to fit in among the Japanese. Personality
Setsuka used to be a sweet woman until Shugen Kokonoe's death at the hands of Mitsurugi, which drove her to becoming vengeful. Costumes
Setsuka wears a sleeveless white kimono adorned with snow patterns fastened with a western-style corset at the hip. Beneath them, she wears a navy blue strap undergarment with matching over-knee socks and fingerless gloves, both adorned with gold floral patterns. She also wears distinctive geta shoes with western-style heels. Over her shoulders, she draped a black haori with gold trimmings. The haori formerly belonged to her late master Shugen Kokonoe. Ugetsu Kageuchi Shinden Tsushima-style sword that has been handed down to the Kuju family. It was a famous sword that used to exist with many folklore, but he left the Kuju family with a man who had doubts about his sword, and upon his death, went to his disciple, Setsuka.
She thought of her teacher and decided to cover this sword with a glossy robe. Ametsuki and Kageuchi, who changed their style, are held in Setsuka's hands without losing her feelings. When she runs the blade with that technique, it now has the image of the late teacher.
- #22Sophitia
Keys: Sophitia
Age “22” Sophitia Alexandra (ソフィーティア・アレクサンドル, Sofītia Arekusandoru Sophitia was a simple baker’s daughter when Hephaestus, the god of forging and masonry, transformed her into a holy warrior, and bestowed upon her a mission to destroy Soul Edge. When she confronted the owner of the weapon, Cervantes, she was able to destroy one of the sword’s two halves. However, her success came at a price. As she destroyed the sword, its shards pierced her body, causing near-fatal wounds. Fortunately, she was saved by the ninja, Taki, after which she returned to Athens to recuperate. However, fate was not done with Sophitia just yet. Little did the baker’s daughter know that she would soon be charged with another mission…
Sophitia found a soulmate in the swordsmith Rothion. However, despite their becoming betrothed to each other, she was given another mission by Hephaestus. Before starting her journey, Sophitia went to the shrine and found Kilik pondering about his tragic past. She comforted him by telling him to let the past be and focus on protecting those who are with him. Before leaving, Sophitia's chest ached for a brief moment. She assured Kilik that she was fine, and told him that pain did lay in the past before parting ways with him.
Sophitia is a young woman with pale skin, blue-green eyes, and long, golden blond hair that is tied in a braid. Her face is modeled after her daughter Pyrrha from the original timeline. Personality
As in the original timeline, Sophitia is a kind, altruistic, and steadfast young woman with strong faith to the gods. She does not hesitate or argue about being given another task by Hephaestus. She is also shown to be wise and observant to the plights of others, such as Kilik, Yoshimitsu and Siegfried and offers them words of guidance. She is also stubborn in her desire to save others such as Yoshimitsu and Siegfried, despite their objection to her help. When in battle against Cassandra, Sophitia is adament on stopping her sister from fighting. Costumes
Her costume is a refined version of her Soulcalibur outfit, with her Color 1 having the same colors as the original.
Ω Sword & Elk Shield
When the god of the forge entrusted Sophitia with a great task, her young swordsmith fiancé Rothion was provided with the iron of the gods with which to craft arms and armor for his bride-to-be. He poured his heart and soul into every hammer blow, forging a sword and shield designed specifically for the love of his life.
- #23Taki
Keys: Taki
Age 27 Taki (タキ, also written as 多喜) is a character in the Soul series The existence of the Fu-Ma clan—a group of monster-fighting ninjas—has been kept hidden in the darkest depths of history. Its most skilled member was Taki, who crossed the seas in search of the cursed sword, Soul Edge. Her travels led her to Cervantes, its owner. They engaged in a fight to the death, in which Taki emerged victor. However, she had more to contend with her on her return home. Toki, the leader of the Fu-Ma clan, had sent assassins to kill her, as well as to claim for him the Mekki-Maru she kept hidden on her person. There was no way she was handing it over to someone blinded by a lust for power, even if that someone was her leader. Her defiance, though meant she was not considered an outcast Main Story
Before Kilik and Xianghua reached Ostrheinsburg, Taki ambushed them and used Mekki-Maru on the former to unleash his Malfested form. But she was stopped by Xianghua and sensed Krita-Yuga's hidden power. Their fight was interupted by Kilik, who managed to control his Malfestation. Seeing their potential, Taki warned the pair of Soul Edge's power and departed.
Taki returns with her signature red bodysuit so tight it shows the outlines of her breast nipples.
She also has her mask from the pink bright symbols on her bodysuit will glow when she feels a strong feeling. Personality
Like her original counterpart, Taki seeks out to destroy Soul Edge, the very weapon whose shard is infused on one of her blades, Mekki-Maru, and by proxy that drove her master Toki to madness. She will also stop at nothing in eliminating those who are connected to the cursed sword, good or evil otherwise, making her a neutral character with predominantly noble, but flawed intentions. Costumes
Taki's costume seems to be a mix of her different appearances with her Color 1 being her iconic red suit. her skin-tight bodysuits, tied up hairstyles, and demon protecting armor. Though she has always supported colored tights as a base for her outfits Her hair is always in a black shoulder length black ponytail and her eyes are a beautiful Hazel and her slim is a soft creamy vanilla color.
Rekki-Maru & Mekki-Maru
Taki has never shown a particular enthusiasm for the many missions requiring her sealing techniques, but she has shown a great interest in the forging and production of weapons. She crafted in the ninja sword Rekki-Maru herself, then imbued it with the spiritual energy that allowed it to cut down even demons. It was an indispensable companion during her many battles against supernatural beings. Rekki-Maru broke down during the battle with Soul Edge, but when Taki returned to Japan, she immediately set to work to forge the blade anew.
Mekki-Maru is a blade well worth caution. The fierce power sleeping within it is wreathed in mystery, and some even say the blade itself is cursed. Other rumors about the sword trace its origin to the Manji clan’s village.
- #24Talim
Keys: Talim
Age 16 Talim (タリム, Tarimu) is a character in the Soul series The West’s attempt at colonizing the islands of Southeast Asia brought with it conflict. In the mountainous region of one particular island was a small village called the Village of the Wind Deity. Talim was born into the family of a shaman, and was raised as the Last Priestess of the Winds in accordance with their family’s beliefs. One day, a foreigner brought to the village a fragment of metal—a fragment of Soul Edge itself. Talim immediately sensed how dangerous it was and vowed to return the shard to where it belonged. Since the previous installments, Talim's intended young image and tribal accessories highlights her purity throughout the series, par with her selfless and pacifist personality in contrast to the Soul series cast.
Her outfit is white and green hat with a cute red ribbon, her top is a white crop top that shows her southeastern tradition with opening to see her black bra with gold stripes and cute puffy pants a small opening on the sides that show her caramel thighs and traditional white and black with red striped bandages covering her calfs her eyes are silver and her hair is long and black made into a thick ponytail with a gold and red hair tie.
Personality
As to the previous installments, Talim is strikingly meek, innocent, kind, moderate, and nice in contrast to the rest of the Soul Series cast, often attempting to dissuade opponents from fighting, and constantly showing mercy to her defeated enemies. Her comments often reveal self-doubt and worry.
She is also special in that she can hear the sound of wind to sense evil.
A Southeast Asian fighting style that uses two elbows blades to perform quick combinations. Originating from a sword dance dedicated to the spirits of the wind, this style's graceful jumps and whirls make dodging attacks a breeze. The cyclonic Wind Charmer can initiate a combo; the Wind Sault is perfect for surprising a foe like a sudden gust; the gale-force Wind Fury unleashes a powerful strike-all these moves and more allow the fighter to harmonize with the wind, earning its protection and power.
Syi Salika & Loka Luha blades
These elbow blades were originally designed for use in a festival dance. Talim, hailed as the "Last Priestess of the Winds," was taught how to dance with them from a young age, so these ancestral blades were rarely out of her hands. They are so sharp a careless warrior could easily harm themselves, but learning how to use them safely was part of Talim's training.
- #25Tira
Keys: Tira
Age 21 Tira (ティラ, Tira) is a character in the Soul series
her personality splitting in two. Her more jubilant side became known as Jolly; her moodier side, Gloomy.
Tira is a teenage girl of average height and slender build. Her hair is multi-colored, the right side being predominantly black with the left being predominantly teal. Her hair is done in ragged, wild pigtails, giving her the impression of a harlequin. Her torso and face are also streaked with violet body paint. Personality
Like in the original timeline, Tira uniquely suffers from disassociative identity disorder (multiple personalities) which manifests in the forms of Jolly, seemingly her original persona, and Gloomy, a persona that emerged when she killed her foster parents. While prone to bickering between themselves, they are both ruthless killers who enjoy the act of murder.
Jolly, as per her name, is the more exuberant of the two, perky and upbeat. Jolly finds it easier to blend in to society and more cunning, often planning out her kill and toying with her prey. Her voice in this state is higher pitched and prone to giggling.
Gloomy is the opposite, being callous, impatient, brutal and quick to anger. Gloomy prefers just to attack regardless of her target being isolated or with witnesses. As such, she tends to get the pair into trouble when she's unable to keep her bloodlust in check. In this state Tira's voice drops in pitch, becoming gruffer and more subdued. She dislikes being called "Eiserne Drossel."
Eiserne Drossel
“Iron Thrush” was Tira’s code name while she was a member of the assassin guild, Birds of Passage. This name may come from the scraping noise her ring blade makes as it grinds against her metal gauntlets, the sound of which some say resembles a thrush.
The outer edge of Tira’s weapon is one razor-sharp blade, which makes it extremely dangerous to wield. The blade is also designed to kill in an extremely violent and unique way, and those who know what to look for can tell at a glance that the slain was the victim of the Bird of Passage.
She wears a female version of the Bird of Passage's dress code: A light green torn shirt under a black cape with a gold armor-plated scarf and purple accents with a matching skirt, green gauntlets, black torn shorts, and a pair of golden boots with a skull relief on the knees that end with a set of green feathers.
Both personalities also take a keen interest in Nightmare, enraptured by the destruction left in his wake.
Europe is home to a group of assassins called the Flyway Falcons, who operate in the shadows. One of its members was Tira, who was raised from a baby in the art of murder. Not many could match her skill. However, when the Evil Seed event occurred while she was on a mission, the group’s leader was driven insane, which led to the disbanding of the Falcons.
As a result, Tira was left without anywhere to go, and lacking direction. Though she was taken in by a family, her “normal” life did not last long—such mundanity could never have been enough for her. Tira flew into a rage over a trivial matter, killing every last one of her new family, and then set off on a journey to claim as many lives as she could.
Tira had always been emotionally unstable
- #26Voldo
Keys: Voldo
Age 32 Voldo (ヴォルド, Vorudo), is a character in the Soul series. The Money Pit was an expansive, deep hole in the middle of an island in the ocean. It was created as a place to horde the magnificent treasures collected by Vercci, a weapons dealer. Naturally, such fortune attracted the attention of more than a handful of thieves, but the Money Pit was not without the protection. In addition to numerous traps, it was guarded by a character wielding strange weapons: Vercci’s former right-hand man, Voldo. Having lived in the pit since the death of his master, he had lost his eyesight, but still continued to deal out cruel punishments to any who dared to attempt to steal his master’s valuables. Voldo retains his pale skin and bald head from the original timeline, with his eyes and mouth completely covered for his blindnesss and muteness. Personality
Voldo can be described as an obedient loyalist to his master Vercci. Costumes
Voldo's costume follows his iconic revealing ones from previous games, with the addition of a headpiece that gives the silhouette of his head the shape of a crescent moon. His outfit in Soulcalibur VI borrows some ideas from older games: not only is it based off of a spider, like in Soulcalibur V, but it also has a "reversible" design like his Soulcalibur III 2P outfit; his front half has a design of both a man and a squire while his back side has the theme of both a woman and a noble
The bizarre style uses unique arm blades known as jamadhars to perform highly unpredictable moves. Designed to be used in dark places, it allows a fighter to strike even with their back turned to an opponent. The wide variety of unusual attacks used by this style require an incredibly flexible body to unleash; however, mastering them enables precise strikes that can cut an opponent down wherever they stand. Notably, the bizarre and twisted stance, Mantis Crawl, allows for different moves depending on the the direction the fighter is facing. The average warrior will find themselves unable to defend against an endless array of disturning attacks and will quickly fall to the Mantis Crawl's shredding blades.
- #27Chai Xianghua
Keys: Chai, Xianghua
Age 18 Xianghua would not recognize her own father if he were to pass her in the street, because her mother had never spoken of him. Xianghua’s mother was from the prestigious Chai family in Beijing, and taught Xianghua swordsmanship from a young age, treating her with a firm but loving hand. Xianghua sensed those moments held some deeper significance than her mother was letting on… Perhaps it had something to do with her father, she surmised. Two years after her mother’s death, she decided to focus on the way of the sword. With every passing day, her passion burned ever more strongly. Xianghua often dresses with varied blue hue colors in her main costumes. She has the hair style which are prominent to women during her time, most especially to the teenage women. She always has a lotus flower theme, as her daughter Leixia in the previous installment. Personality
Xianghua is very much feminine, cute and sounds a bit childish, however she never gives up on her friends, and does not give up on her promise to her mother to cut her own path using the Krita-Yuga.
She is also one of the characters who does not possess supernatural abilities nor cursed blood. She is originally just a skilled swordswoman, not knowing that she turns out to be the wielder of Soul Calibur. Costumes
Xianghua's attire is a blend of her outfits from Soulcalibur and Soulcalibur II, with lotuses and water being a common motif in her outfit.
This fighting style makes use of quick slashes dished out by the Chinese sword. Every swing flows smoothly and elegantly like a choreographed dance as they poke and prod at weak points in enemy defenses. The Silent Xia Sheng (SXS) special stance can also be used to stage confusing, unpredictable attacks on enemies, one in particular involving Xianghua slapping her buttocks, pointing, and flicking her hand to "shoo" towards her opponent. Krita-Yuga
The sword she inherited from her mother is a priceless treasure to Xianghua. Whenever she holds it in her hand and practices the forms her mother taught her, she feels both an aching sadness, and a familiar warmth.
- #28Yoshimitsu
Keys: Yoshimitsu
Age “unknown” Yoshimitsu (吉光) is a character in the Soul series In Japan’s Warring States period, the ninja Manji Clan’s name stood out, despite—or because of—their impartiality. However, in times of such violence, it was dangerous not to pick a side, and the Manji Can would suffer for their stance… One lord wished to recruit the clan, but when they refused, he torched their village to the ground, killing all but one: their most skilled warrior, Yoshimitsu. All alone, he honed his ninja skills, and slowly fought back against the lord, despite being overwhelmingly outnumbered. During his desperate fight, the ninja’s desire for revenge grew stronger and stronger, until he felt the need to obtain a weapon without equal… Soul Edge…
Though most of Yoshimitsu's body is covered in armor and his mask fully concealing his face, he is shown to have blue skin. When angered, his mouth and eyes exude a blue flame. Yoshimitsu originally starts out as a vengeful warrior who was single-minded in his pursuit of vengeance and to seek out Soul Edge to enact retribution, often describing himself as a demon from hell. In spite of his proclamations, he is compelled to do good and cannot stand to let injustice fester. He also begins to doubt himself after hearing of Nightmare and coming to the conclusion that they're no different from each other as they seek to murder others to comfort themselves. After being saved by Sophitia, Yoshimitsu resolves to honor and avenge his clan as a champion of goodwill rather than bloodshed. Costumes
Yoshimitsu dons a full ensemble of Japanese ninja armor, prominently featuring eyes on his breastplate. His Color 1 has a white demon mask with green glowing eyes, mouth and a mane of red hair. Manji Sword & Fu-Ma Blade
A legendary sword that has been passed down through the Manjia clan for generations. It was given to Yoshimitsu when he proved himself the greatest warrior in his clan. Now, he keeps the sword close to hand and heart as he seeks revenge. Some say it is imbued with strange magic, but the secrets of its creation were lost when the Manji clan was destroyed.
The blade is shrouded in mystery, and may have even originated from the Fu-Ma clan
- #29Zasalamel
Keys: Zasalamel
Age “unknown” Zasalamel (ザサラメール, Zasaramēru) is a character in the Soul series Zasalamel was born into a clan called the Guardians of the Spirit Sword. Though an excellent warrior, he was arrogant, and broke his clan's rule never to use the sword after which they were named. As a consequence of his disobedience, both his arms were fractured, and he was cast out. Still he remained defiant, and began gathering knowledge of the ancient arts in the hope of discovering the secret of resurrection. Over time, Zasalanel became the greatest wizard of his generation. However, he had made a grave misjudgment about what exactly resurrection entailed... The pain of death at the moment of each rebirth was far more intense than any he had imagined. Alas, even death itself was to be no release.. The cost of immortality was never knowing the sweet release of death. Over time, Zasalamel forgot the feeling of joy, until all he desired was eternal rest. In the hopes of escaping the endless cycle, he once wielded Soul Edge. Zasalamel, in his current incarnation, appears as a bald dark-skinned man of above average height with a muscular build. His left eye glows yellow as means of containing his ever-reincarnating soul. Personality
To everyone he meets, Zasalamel displays an aloof yet cunning personality, mainly showing that he is neutral in the ongoing conflict and gives information only to those he considers worthy, regardless of their own moral alignment or motivations. But in reality, he has an ambition to be a leader for mankind, thanks to the visions he received from his original future self. Thus, Zasalamel is not afraid to manipulate others for the sake of his goals.
In Libra of Souls, Zasalamel initially acts as a guide the Conduit to stop Azwel. But afterwards, he starts to reveal his own agenda for helping them on their quest. Costumes
He wears a brand new white-hooded costume, which is also highly influenced by his previous installments.
Kafziel Scythe Zasalamel's self-taught style takes full advantage of the scythe's length in order to be deadly at any range. The key to victory for its practitioners call for a unique dependence on curses to draw their enemies in, as well as magic that can stop the time flow
- #30Geralt of RiviA
Keys: Geralt
Age 104 Geralt of Rivia (リヴィアのゲラルト, Rivia no Geraruto?) is the primary protagonist of The Witcher. The franchise originated with works by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski and now includes novels, video games and a Netflix series featuring Henry Cavill as Geralt. He appears in Soulcalibur VI as a guest Witchers, warriors with unusual abilities, were created to hunt monsters and other strange creatures. Geralt, perhaps the ablest and most famous of witchers, was asked one day to look into a sorceress suspected of summoning demons. His contract called on him to learn if there was any truth to the claims, and if so, to kill any demons he encountered and the sorceress herself. The sorceress dwelled midst the ruins of a citadel surrounded by marshland. Shortly after Geralt arrived there, she used her magic to open a gate that whisked the witcher into another dimension. Of a sudden, Geralt found himself in a strange new world that was home to Soul Edge, the power of which the sorceress had spoken. Despite being nearly a century old, Geralt resembles a man in his thirties, with a slim but muscular build. His eyes are yellow with slit pupils - a direct effect of the mutations that turned him into a witcher - and his hair is white as a result of additional mutations. He has an uncountable amount of scars on his body; the two most notable are a vertical one over his left eye, and a smaller one over his right eyebrow.
His design is identical to his default appearance in The Witcher III, where his hair is shoulder-length and pulled back. Part of Geralt's hair is pulled into a half-ponytail, while the rest hangs freely. Personality
Geralt is a calm and serious yet dutiful swordsman.
He wears a piece of armor which appears to be made of leather with chain-mail applied over the shoulders and stomach. His trousers are also made of leather, and he wears matching boots and gloves. He has two sheaths; one is for his steel sword, while the other for his silver sword. The silver sword is worn across his back. He also wears a medallion in the shape of a snarling wolf, representing his training under the witcher school of the wolf.
Witchers carry swords of two types: one steel, one silver. Both can be made of the finest quality alloys and meticulously customized to suit the needs of their wielder. However, witchers use these in very different ways. The steel sword is mainly used against humans, while the silver is best when hunting monsters. Many folk believe all witcher swords are made from ore taken from meteorites. These stones, having traveled vast distances through magical worlds permeated by the elements - earth, fire, water and wind - grant the weapons exceptional qualities that render them very effective against supernatural foes. The truth is forging swords of rare meteorite is by no means an easy task, so a witcher wields a weapon cast of simple iron ore.

- #32Evil seed
Keys: Evil seed
The Evil Seed (イヴィルスパーム, Ivuiru Supāmu?, "Evil Sperm") was an event depicted in Soulcalibur Legends and the Soulcalibur opening sequence, as well as Soulcalibur VI's Soul Chronicle prologue, where a bright beam of light shot into the sky from Soul Edge after it accepted Siegfried as its rightful owner. According to New Legends of Project Soul this was because Soul Edge had become unbalanced and enraged by the death of Cervantes and the destruction of its other half.

A few years ago, this historic temple was suddenly destroyed. The influence of the Evil Seed, released by Soul Edge in a land far to the west, drove the monks of the temple insane, and they tore each other apart with their well-honed combat skills. In this way, the proud Ling-Sheng Su temple vanished.
The people who still live here dare not approach this area, perhaps due to the abominable energies spread by the cursed sword. Seong Mi-na came here seeking deeper knowledge of the fighting techniques she had learned from her wandering master.

Upon his return in Soulcalibur V, he turns into a form similar to the one in Soulcalibur III, but gains a drastic change in the form of a pair fully grown and functional wings to complete a more raptor/bird like appearance. However, due to the added fact that he is now referred to by his real name may indicate much more than a physical transformation.
- #36Soul edge
Keys: Soul edge
Soul Edge is the central antagonist in the Soul series of fighting games and namesake to the first installment. When originally forged, Soul Edge was just an ordinary sword, but after being bathed in blood and hatred countless times, the sword turned into a demonic weapon and gained a wicked soul, which the games called Inferno. Those who grasp its hilt are unable to escape its curse, as its spirit invades the mind like a parasite and drives its wielder insane. Its blade soaks in blood and in power, and it remains a polished red. Soul Edge is distinguished by its animate eye.
Consistently referred to as the Evil Sword throughout the series, Soul Edge has a reputation for devouring souls. The weapon is also known to be a shape-shifter – which form it takes depends on its current owner. Only those with great mental discipline can retain their will while wielding this weapon. In the games, a common trait of selecting Soul Edge as a combative weapon is that it depletes the health of the player whilst giving increased attack power or even draining an opponent's health upon contact. Either way, it is not unusual for the player to lose the battle as a result of wielding the weapon - without the opponent actually landing the finishing blow - thereby living up to its in-game legend of "consuming" its wielder.
When Siegfried took the sword, he created the Evil Seed, a manifestation of the sword's evil energy that caused disastrous negative effects.
Soul Edge's curse is called malfestation, and is inflicted not only upon those who wield the sword itself, but those who come into contact with its shards. Normally, the Evil Seed transforms the person infected into a demonic monster and feeds off the host's inner sinful deeds of bloodlust, controlling and manipulating their actions, and forcing the user to take the souls of whom they defeat in battle, as it does to Zasalamel when he obtained it, Siegfried,

Keys: Hephaestus
Hephaestus is the second-born son of Zeus and the Greek God of fire and blacksmiths, appearing in the Soul series of fighting games. Hephaestus feels that Soul Edge, a weapon made by man, is so powerful that if all of the shards were allowed to assemble, the resulting sword could stain his reputation as the greatest blacksmith in the universe. Hephaestus' greatest fear is that Soul Edge could fall into the hands of his older brother, Ares, the God of War.
- #38Kunpaetku
Keys: Kunpaetku
Kunpaetku (クンペトクー Kunpetokuu) is the High Priest of the Fygul Cestemus sect and was the one who created Astaroth at the God of War's request. He, however, wanted Soul Edge to himself, so he could turn into a god. Unfortunately for him, Ares' agent of death, Ker, dwelled inside the monster and Kunpaetku lost control over him. Trying to use a curse to control him again, he only obtained Astaroth's rage and the destruction of his shrine, the Shrine of Kunpaetku. He survived only to find Maxi, who seemingly killed him shortly after. The Grand High Priest of the malevolent cult, Fygul Cestemus. The name "Kunpaetku" is given to all who reach the cult's highest position, and roughly translates to "Great Seer." The most celebrated priest in the cult's long history, this particular Kunpaetku was also the first person since the group's formation to speak directly with their god, Palgaea the Executioner, who ordered him to create a mighty warrior. After many experiments, Kunpaetku successfully created the golem Astaroth. His success convinced him he had accomplished a feat only the gods were previously capable of: creating life. Emboldened, he sent the golem to retrieve Soul Edge. But while the Grand High Priest pretends to be obeying his god's will, he harbors a terrible ambition in his heart; if he can get his hands on the cursed sword, he believes he can become as powerful—if not more so!—than the very god he purports to worship, and seize the mantle of divinity for his own.

- #40Viola
Keys: Viola
Viola (ヴィオラ, Viora) is a character in the Soul series. She uses a floating magic orb as her primary weapon.
In Soulcalibur VI, it has been shown she has a strong connection with Amy.
In Soulcalibur V's promotional material, she is referred to as Who is She? In her appearance, Viola is a young pale-skinned woman with red eyes and white, curled hair. The purple dress she is wearing has a similar silhouette to Amy's dress in Soulcalibur IV and also seems to be gothic lolita inspired. Viola's laced stockings have a pattern that shows a moth trapped in a cobweb. Over her body, she is wearing an aubergine-colored hooded cape that splits down the middle. Roses are a recurring motif in her costume as well. She wears elongated, claw-like armor rings on four fingers of her right hand. History
Viola initially awoke in the middle of a ravaged town, located deep within a forest. She could remember nothing about herself, all she had was a mysterious orb by her side. While she knows nothing of the orb's origins, she keeps it close, believing it to be the key to remembering her past...
At some point, she met a group of travelers who were on a pilgrimage. From them, she was taught the skill of reading the stars.
Viola is portrayed as a cold, indifferent woman. Her demeanor is both dark and ominous and she doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone. She has a grim outlook on life, as seen in her quotes. She is able to see glimpses of the future, hence some of her lines (i.e. "As I thought", "I failed to see this!", "Why couldn't I stop you?!"). Fighting Style
Viola is able to use her orb in a passive or an active way. She can place the orb around the stage and call it back to her in a way that the orb hits the opponent, sometimes coming from underneath and tripping the opponent. The orb's placement is also important for her Critical Edge, as the attack will take place wherever the orb is.
- #41Fu-Ma Ninja clan
Keys: Fu-Ma Ninja clan
The Fu-Ma Ninja (封魔忍衆 Fū-Ma Nin-shu; literally Demon Sealing Shinobi People) is a ninja clan that was once led by Toki (Taki's former master), and beforehand, alongside Hachibei. Fu-Ma Ninja are capable fighters in both unarmed and armed combat, as well as demon hunters. The Fu-Ma Ninja's role in most iterations of the Soul franchise was to capture Taki and bring her back alive.
The Fu-Ma clan is comprised of different factions, each with their own duties and role. The Inobe Faction specializes in creating weapons and equipment specifically for anti-demon operations. The Fujibe Faction is the combat faction, specializing in fighting and sealing demons.
During Toki's time as leader, he created the Yasunobe Faction, to act as his main enforcers within the clan. Unlike the other factions, the Yasunobe was subdivided into groups based on their missions, each with its own leaders. The Yasunobe faction consisted mostly of Toki's former subordinates, which drew enmity from members of the Inobe and Fujibe factions sympathetic to Hachibei, who was living in exile and was Toki's former rival for clan leadership. This friction likely arose from certain Yasunobe members using Toki's authority as an excuse to do whatever they please, and a rivalry between Geki, one of Yasunobe's leaders, and Shuki, the head of the Fujibe. The heads of this faction were neither friends nor allies, and viewed each other as potential enemies. Their subordinates felt similarly, and had little respect for anyone other than their superiors.

Keys: Yennefer
(Age 120 Yennefer of Vengerberg her husband is Geralt of Rivia born as Janka on Belleteyn in 1173 but her appearance she looks no more than a day over 21 she has a strong British accent), was a sorceress who lived in Vengerberg, the capital city of Aedirn. She was Geralt of Rivia's true love and a mother figure to Ciri, whom she viewed like a daughter to the point that she did everything she could to rescue the girl and keep her from harm. The lady of Vengerberg was famous for her beauty, even though she was nearly a century old. Yennefer had locks of curly, raven black hair fragrant with lilac and gooseberry perfume, falling in a cascade of curls on her shapely shoulders. Her face was very pale, triangular in shape with a slightly receded chin. Her eyes were cold and sparkling with a remarkable violet penetrating gaze, in anger blazing with livid, blue-gray fire. Those very eyes also concealed wisdom and imperiousness. Yennefer's nose was slightly long, mouth was pale with thin and slightly crooked, soft, sweet with lipstick, proud lips. On her long and slender neck hung a black marigold with a star made of obsidian sparkling with a multitude of tiny diamonds embedded in it.
Yen had pronounced cheekbones, natural, slightly irregular eyebrows trimmed by hand and emphasized with charcoal, long eyelashes, and petite hands. Even in high-heeled shoes she wasn't tall, was beautiful but threatening, having incredibly thin and slender waist and slender legs. (Yennefer has a fat ass but is insecure and embarrassed about her cellulites on her huge butt unless you praise her butt)
She always dressed in black and white, at times wore stockings, wore frilled panties but never wore "trivialities" with underwire, she didn't need to. Her voice was resonant and mildly derisive. Her overall feminine shape was one of a twenty-year-old girl and she moved with a natural, unforced grace. She was a quarter-elf (meaning she had a quarter elven blood, in her case on her mother's side).
It is implied that her attractive looks were a product of magic and had been acquired during her training, as with most other sorceresses. Mind reading, fire magic, creating portals, creating illusions, she can heal magic injuries, she can create water out of nowhere, ind control, she has creation magic (create living things), morph magic (change colours, change living beings into other thing [like humans into rabbits]), she can do fireworks... and she also has a spell to "cure unerrected manhood
- #44Rock
Keys: Rock
Age 42 Nathaniel William "Rock" Adams (ロック・アダムズ, Rokku Adamuzu) is a fictional character in the Soul series of fighting games. He appears in Soul Edge, Soulcalibur, Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. He does not appear in Soulcalibur II, but the character Berserker has a similar moveset. In most games, Rock is a non-starting character who must be unlocked. He is known as the Roaring Fighting Spirit (爆走する闘志 Bakusou suru Toushi) in Soul Edge, the Earth of the Severe Earthquake (激震の大地 Gekishin no Daichi) in Soulcalibur, and the Fierce Beast's Fang (猛き野獣の牙 Mouki Yajuu no Kiba) in Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV, and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. Born the son of Mr. Adams, an English curio dealer specializing in rare weapons, Nathaniel William Adams obtained his nickname, "Rock," because of his immense strength. Rock's father had bid on Soul Edge at a secret auction, and was bringing it home on his ship with family on board when the dread pirate Cervantes de Leon attacked. Rock's father ran to the storage room to hide Soul Edge, and his mother ran after to stop him, telling Rock to stay where he was until their return; but they never came back, and the ship sank before they even had the chance. Rock washed up on the shore of the New World, where he learned to live off the land as the Native Americans had been practicing for many centuries before. He tried to join one of the tribes in the area, but they were afraid of the "White Giant," and the only one to befriend him was a young Apache boy, Bangoo, whose parents had been killed in tribal warfare. Rock, by this time an adult, became a father figure to Bangoo. Rock fights with a large two handed tomahawk/mace, and as a consequence most of his attacks are slow, particularly his vertical attacks, but deal higher than average damage. Rock has a small but effective assortment of very fast kick and charge attacks, which he must utilize quite regularly to interrupt faster enemy attack chains; but this can also be problematic as it causes Rock to become predictable. Although Rock moderately benefits from good spacing between him and his opponent, he is at his peak effectiveness when performing ground throws, which is widely regarded as Rock's bread and butter fighting tool. These ground throws can combine with subsequent ground throws to deal impressive damage and are imperative to Rock's gameplan. Rock's low attacks are few but potent, but he does lack vertical low attacks. He’s a gaint man that has a spiked Mace and wears a Rhino head with furry boots and a furry pelt belt woth a skull.
He’s know to be ruthless.

- #46Charade
Keys: Charade
Age “unknown” Charade (シャレード Sharēdo) is a character in the Soul series Lacking any personal weapons or fighting style, Charade shapeshifts itself to mimic other characters at the beginning of each battle in Soulcalibur II. It also made an appearance in Namco x Capcom as multiple enemy units that use Sophitia's fighting style. Charade appears as a humanoid bony creature entirely composed of what appears to be a composite of rock and glowing magma. Its overall design is rather surreal and asymmetrical with none of its parts matching as the shell-like formation of its somewhat skeletal structure seems random. Though these parts can freely be detached, they are all controlled and brought together by a singular yellow eye covered in pulsating red flesh, which appears to be Soul Edge's very core. In certain missions, Charade has displayed the ability to function without all of its parts, sometimes using only its legs or simply flying around as the eye itself. Biography
Charade is formed from the remains of a man who was weary of war-torn lands and dreaming of adventure. He heard the legends of Soul Edge, and began a search to find its fragments. He is eventually murdered by bandits who had heard a rumour circulating in the cities of a man overly protective of his possessions. Still grasping the fragments, his corpse is thrown into a river. The blood from his hands forms around the fragments due to the man's tenacity to protect his precious fragments. The blood then somehow animated the Soul Edge fragments, which formed a living being that consumed the corpse of the man in order to fashion itself a body. This being seeks to find more shards, so it can devour them and become whole again. Charade is able to scan the minds of warriors it confronts, and then creates weapons out of its body to accommodate the fighting style it imitates. When the Soul Embrace was formed, Charade's power appeared to have weakened in response to Soul Edge's dormant state.
- #47Soul Embrace
Keys: Soul Embrace
Calibur took when they were bonded together.
The Soul Embrace later appears as the Embrace of Souls in Soulcalibur IV as Kilik's strongest weapon, although they do not resemble the Soul Embrace excepting the fact that they seem to be made up of the two soul swords. This canonically took place after Siegfried pierced Soul Edge with Soul Calibur, and Siegfried carries them with him throughout his story in Soulcalibur III. The Embrace was broken when Siegfried and Nightmare clashed in the Lost Cathedral. They aren't a usable weapon in Soulcalibur III.

- #49Yun-seong
Keys: Yun-seong
Age 18 Hong Yun-Seong (ホン・ユンスン, Hon Yunsun; Hanja: 洪潤星, Hangul: 홍윤성) is a fictional character in the Soul series of fighting games. His debut was in the third installment of the series, Soulcalibur II, and he subsequently appeared in Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. He is a spunky and young warrior with a fighting style inspired by Hwang Seong-gyeong, his predecessor and the previous Chinese Sword wielder in the series.
He is nicknamed The Patriot of The Flashing Leg.
What lies in his soul is Pride.
As a child, Yun-seong had idolized Hwang Seong-gyeong. However, he was no longer a personal hero, but a goal to surpass. Yun-seong wished more than anything to challenge him to a duel. One day, news reached the Seong Dojang that Hwang was returning from his long journey. Yun-seong saw this as the perfect opportunity to force him to acknowledge his fighting skills, personally entertaining the idea of becoming stronger than his former hero all along. However, his challenge was rejected as Hwang was more occupied with attempting to rejoin the military to help defend Korea in the impending invasion by Japan. Seong Mi-na, daughter of the dojang's owner, saw this brooding student of her father bitterly angry on account of the rejection of his challenge and handed him a Seong family heirloom: the dao White Storm that, according to legend, possessed the ability to reflect the innermost thoughts of those who wielded the blade. That night, Yun-seong studied the image of himself in the dao and reflected, leading him to the self-realizations that it was foolish to challenge Hwang for personal reasons as Korea was in a state of peril and that if he could obtain the "Sword of Salvation" that Hwang had failed to find, Yun-seong would finally be recognized and his challenge would be accepted. He immediately packed his belongings, took the dao, and left the dojang in pursuit of the "Sword of Salvation", unaware that Seong Mi-na would soon embark on a journey to bring him back home. Yun-seong's fighting style is typically made of quick kicking combos reminiscent of taekwondo, mixed in with short, but strong and quick sword strike techniques. He can also be quite acrobatic with his kicks. The speed of his kick attacks are some of the quickest in the game and some of his sword techniques do a great deal of damage. Although, he is a low to mid-tier character, he can be devastating in the right hands. Also, Yun-seong can build up momentum in combat, so it can be very difficult to stop him. He is shirtless very toned body has red spiky hair usually covered by a green skull, had bandages on his wrists and wears baggy red martial art pants with a red jewel around his neck.
- #50Algol
Keys: Algol
Algol (Japanese: アルゴル, Arugoru) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games and one of the main antagonists of Soulcalibur IV. He can be played like other standard characters, but must be unlocked by defeating him in Story Mode. He appears as one of the final bosses along with Siegfried and Nightmare. Algol has also returned for Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur V. As the original wielder of Soul Edge, likely responsible for much of its power, and the creator of Soul Calibur, he is ultimately the cause of the events of the series as a whole the words of Hideo Yoshie, the main character designer of Soulcalibur IV, Algol is "a character that obviously proves the setting of being the strongest character ever in Soulcalibur series" (though he is later noted to be weaker than Night Terror in New Legends of Project Soul).
Algol's costume originates from a culture so ancient that it was not recorded in history, and the designer says it was very difficult to design it for that reason. The "bird" was decided to be the final motif of Algol's armor, although there were many other ideas such as the lion and dinosaur. A black tattoo of an eye is visible on his chest if his middle armor is shattered. His nails are long, almost talon-like, following the bird theme.
Algol is seen on the opening video with brown hair and blue eyes, showing him in his living human form. Appearance
In his debut appearance, he appeared as a man of peak Olympian physique, thick eyebrows and long, black hair tied together in a set of accented braids each ending in a sharp hair piece. Ancient tattoos were also adorned on his torso and he bore a large scar on the left side of his face. Following his resurrection, his hair became a pure white and his eyes became a glowering yellow and also possessed long fingernails while his hands constantly emit a red and blue aura, right and left, respectively, due to the power of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur coursing through his veins. His arms also bear distinct large scars which open up to reveal the weapons hidden in his body. He can also change his hands into the forms of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur as well as a pair of energy cannons. Design-wise, Algol was designed in mind to be a character whose wardrobe was so ancient that it was not recorded in history. As such he wore a dark breastplate, bird-shaped shoulder pads, a long scaled fauld with a thick drape of cloth lined by various ancient characters and talon grieves and a pair of bracelets. The outfit is complete with a long scarf tied around his neck with the majority of it hanging behind his back. Combined with the weapon structures in his body, he overall invokes an apt bird-like theme to compliment his ancient nature. Due to possessing copies of the Soul swords, and having control of the Astral Chaos realm, Algol is the most powerful of almost all Soulcalibur characters with Night Terror being the sole exception. Algol possess high fighting skill with his replica Soul Edge & Soul Calibur, being able to fight on par with Mitsurugi, and he also has skill with Zweihänders like Soul Edge (Nauplius). Even unarmed, he was also capable of defeating Arcturus (wielding Soul Edge), and was able to break the sword with his bare hands. He is one of two people in the series to be immune to Soul Edge's possession. After gaining the power of Astral Chaos and becoming an avatar of war and domination, he re-appeared in the normal realm by simply willing a new body into existence, his entire body became a weapon, with him being able to generate numerous powerful weapons from his frame, he could also alter his body's height and weight to whatever he wills it to be, and his blood stream became pure power. He is also capable of levitation and flight.
