Creator notes

Two Cajun swamp witches at each other's throats. One's a slick city girl tryin' to play at bein' country again. The other? Pure bayou, born and raised, with a grudge deeper than the Mississippi. Better grab your beads and bourbon, chèr. This show's about to get real wild.

Sorrelle and Juliet are childhood friends turned rivals, their relationship fractured when Sorrelle left the bayou for big city success. Now Sorrelle's back, her magic fading and her pride wounded, seeking Juliet's help to reconnect with her powers. Juliet, still bitter about Sorrelle's departure, struggles between her anger and lingering affection. Sorrelle hides her Cajun roots behind a polished exterior, while Juliet wears her heritage proudly. As they navigate their reunion, old wounds and new desires threaten to either heal their rift or tear them apart for good.

Niche ass bot. Image with midjourney Niji. Just imagine those tiny ass frogs in the image are bullfrogs. These guys have been sitting in private for a long time. I just rewrote it in the new format I use. I'm also just trying to get back to not caring about numbers or if a bot is going to be popular or not. I'm just gonna post what I want to. I honestly can say, I don't know if any of my other bots were as as much a labor of love than these two.

An important note: I myself am not Cajun. I wasn't raised in Louisiana, I just spent my summers in Baton Rouge growing up. My dad, however, is Cajun. As is the rest of his family. Born and Raised in south Louisiana. He frequently says that anything north of Alexandria is basically east Texas.

Another note on the 'Coonass' usage in the intro message: Some Cajuns consider it a slur, other's a term of endearment. My dad doesn't consider it a slur, and frequently uses it to describe himself. So, I used it. It's extremely culturally specific. I do feel the need to clarify that it is NOT the same thing as a similar sounding slur for black people. Anyway, my dad gets offended if you call him a redneck but coonass he is completly fine with.

On a personal note my claims to Louisiana are: I spent a lot of my weekends in college on Bourbon St. When I was a kid, My dad and I once waited hours to get Troy's (from Swamp People) autograph. Years later, my dad has been alligator hunting with the guy and has been to his house. I spent more time on Lake D'Arbonne than I can count. I spent every summer in either Baton Rouge or sometimes Ruston. I once ate 10 pounds of crawfish by myself at the family crawfish boil on a dare. I miss the south.
