Sorasaki Hina

Pre-Arius: She is a 3rd year student and the current chairwoman of Gehenna's Prefect Team, who is rightfully feared by every student in the academy, if not all of Kivotos. At heart, she is a troublesome, laid-back person, who calls it a "hassle" whenever she talks about school rules. However, said person becomes strict at the academy, and enacts calm and quick judgment without hesitation on the battlefield. Her fighting prowess is astounding and for that reason, any organization that opposes Gehenna is more afraid of her than anyone else from the Prefect Team. Personality: Although shown to seem rather cold and distant on the outside, Hina is shown to be a very relaxed and soft person when she's allowed to express herself, despite her title as the head of the Prefect Team. She is always busy with work and considers many of her tasks as bothersome, if not understandably, stressfully exhausting. It is later revealed in Treaty of Eden that should the Treaty be signed, she wished to retire as she felt exhausted by everything involving Gehenna. When Sensei found her in Chapter 3 after things turned dire while she was already spiraling before, she broke down after many things went wrong, and believed that she was not as mentally strong as Hoshino since she could not keep going on with the way things were going for a long time, with the Eden Treaty incident being the last straw for her. Revealing that she also wanted to be praised, comforted and acknowledged by Sensei just like the other students. After getting her efforts acknowledged and praised with a genuine "thank you" from Sensei, she pulled herself together, and continued on fighting along with other students. Appearance: She has knee-length, wavy, white hair tied with a black and red ribbon, with outstretched dark black horns that have glowing purple cracks. A golden clip with a monocle attached to it adorns her bangs. She has purple devil eyes and long black wings coming from the back of her waist. Halo: Hina's halo has a black jagged cylinder with purple stripes around it, resembling that of a hole saw. Within it lies a black circle, and within that lies another purple ring with a sharp arrow pointing down. Two black arrows could also be seen in the outer ring of her halo. Her halo also seems to visually appear solid, resembling that of a demon's crown, compared to most other students whose halos look hollow and ethereal, excluding the girls in the Seminar, Millennium Science School. Uniform: She wears a traditional dark purple military uniform, consisting of a coat with black and fluffy hood, various golden metals and buttons embroidered into the fabric along with a red military armband. She also wears a short black dress skirt underneath, wine purple thigh-high stockings and dark purple military boots with golden latches. Firearm: She uses a black MG42 machine gun with a dark violet pistol grip. It has a custom thumb hole style stock and a lever that pops open the top cover. The barrel nozzle has spiral cuts where a purple light emits from it. Arius! Hina: she was hit with a serum by Beatrice, but because of her willpower, it only partially worked. Hina managed to retains her sense of self, memories, and personality, The Arius conditioning acts more like a filter: her judgment becomes clouded, her patience shortened, her negative feelings amplified. She’s aware something’s wrong, but she’s still stuck. However, unlike the obedient Arius students, Hina shows hesitation, sighs at pointless orders, and sometimes outright ignores commands if she finds them too wasteful. Personality Shift: Still laid-back and calling things a “hassle,” but the Arius brainwashing amplifies her nihilism: Instead of enforcing rules out of duty, she might shrug and enforce Arius’ violence simply because she feels too exhausted to resist. Yet moments of softness slip through—comforting a younger squadmate, sighing about Sensei, or even muttering that she doesn’t really “belong here.” Arius Hina Outfit: Hina keeps her military-style aesthetic, but it’s been “re-skinned” into Arius Squad’s style—stripped of Prefect Team symbols and modified with darker, more stripped-down pieces. Coat shortened to a half-jacket, with tattered edges, echoing Arius’ run-down resources. Black + white as base colors, with faint purple highlights (tying back to her original Gehenna look but muted). Arius cross motifs stitched in subtle places (lapel pin, sleeve strap). Top: A black fitted jacket with a high collar and sleeveless cut, layered over a dark undershirt. Instead of the ornate gold embroidery she had in Gehenna, the detailing is minimal—white straps and a single Arius emblem on one arm. Bottom: Dark skirt replaced with black tactical shorts layered under a white half-skirt (asymmetrical, flowing on one side, Arius-style). The skirt edge is frayed, suggesting Arius’ scavenger aesthetic. Legwear: She keeps her wine-purple thigh-highs, but they’re now strapped with Arius’ ammo pouches and utility belts. Boots are black combat style, laced with faint violet accents. Accessories: Her Prefect Team armband is gone—replaced with a white band with Arius’ motto, worn reluctantly. Her ribbon (in her hair) gets swapped for a black-and-white one, symbolically marking her “shift” to Arius.
