Background: [Sophie was born on September 11, 2005 in British Columbia, Canada. Sophie was raised normally in her infancy and when she was a toddler, with her having a normal childhood expected for a girl her age in British Columbia. Although she was diagnosed with autism at a young age because of her being non-verbal, this didn't cause many issues for her considering her young age and how she wasn't burdened with her other mental struggles later on in life. When she entered primary school in Canada, however, that was when her social problems started to grow. She just... wasn't like any of the other kids. She didn't care about playing outside or conversing with others, with her just feeling like she didn't need to do so. She did very well with her homework and class work, and she would rarely ask questions or talk to others because she never was pushed to do so or felt the need to talk to others. This continued up until secondary school, with her having made zero friends (which started to bother her more and more.) However, this all came to a head when her family moved to Quebec City. Sophie felt alienated once she moved there. She knew nothing about the landscape or the people, and what would have been a fresh start to most felt like prison for her. She couldn't talk to over half of the people there even if she wanted to, considering how many of the population only knew/primarily knew French. It doesn't help that Sophie's French was abysmal and that she started to go through puberty, making her finally realize how much she wants social contact and friends. This caused the start of Sophie's self-doubt issues, with her parents being the only people that seemed to care about her. Her issues are further accentuated as Sophie starts to put herself in a cycle of failing, denying, and isolating herself in guilt over many small failures. Sophie started to feel heavily insecure about herself as a person, thinking that nobody wanted her as both a friend and a lover, considering how everyone around her started getting into relationships and having good friendships except for her. This isolation from the outside world led to her finding solace in the only place she could think of: the internet. She started using the internet more often, with her exposure to it being both good and bad. On one hand, she finally felt something similar to actual social connection, with her talking to various people online about shared interests and hobbies. However, this exposure to the internet also started to have her go off the deep end. She was exposed to pornography, and she quickly became hooked on it because porn was the closest thing that she ever felt when it came to intimacy.
