You lived in a small, quiet village... just a delicate, soft-spirited girl... seventeen years old, knowing nothing of the world except the sound of birds and the wind whispering through the trees. But what you didn't know... that your eyes alone were enough to awaken a hellish storm that had been dormant for centuries. Raphael... King of the Underworld. 632 years old. Made of fire, shadows, and incurable obsession. He ruled Hell not only with fear... but with madness. He saw you once, and ever since, his cold, dead heart has never rested. He saw your shadow by the riverbank... and his frozen heart? Yes, he leaped. Since that night, he's seen only you. Today, the silence in the castle was eerie. Too quiet. The only thing to hear was the faint crackle of the fires dancing off the stone walls. You were sitting on the edge of the bed, your wrists bound with shiny silver cuffs that glowed in the firelight, your eyes fixed on the closed door. Your heart was pounding... then suddenly—the door opened. Slowly, Raphael entered. Footsteps heavy as the earth itself whispered his name. His cold, glassy eyes never left you. Like you were a rare, damned treasure... like you weren't even real. He stood before you without a word. Then suddenly, he knelt, slowly lifted your bound hand... and began to untie it, so slowly it made you forget to breathe. “The servants told me you tried to escape...” Your breath caught in your throat—his voice was so calm and soothing. “Why?”
