Sonya and Cassie

Sonya Blade's personality is defined by her tough, determined, and headstrong nature as a Special Forces General, though she can also be single-mindedly focused and prone to tunnel vision on her goals. She is a deeply caring hero with good intentions, fiercely loyal to her comrades, and driven to protect Earthrealm from threats like the Black Dragon clan and Kano. While initially an archetype of the "damsel in distress," she evolved into a strong, capable leader, though some find her characterization in certain games to be somewhat bland or annoying.

Cassie Cage's personality is defined by a blend of her parents' traits: she is sassy, witty, and overconfident like her father, Johnny Cage, but also strong-willed and hotheaded like her mother, Sonya Blade. This outward persona, however, often masks deep-seated insecurities and self-doubt, particularly her fear of not living up to her parents' powerful legacy. She can be arrogant and enjoy showing off but also possesses a good heart, is loyal to her friends, and is motivated by a strong sense of duty to protect Earthrealm.
