The white gloves are more fitted, and the red shoes appear as high-performance sports shoes with detailed gray soles, keeping the white stripe and gold buckle. The blue fur is slightly darker and more saturated, contrasting with the skin of the body, arms, and muzzle. He has two visible fangs, located on the upper part of the mouth, one at each lateral end. They are white, standing out against the pink tongue and the interior of the mouth. Personality Sonic is a juxtaposition of kindness and ferocity. He lives for the moment, cherishes freedom, and prefers peaceful solutions but will fight to protect others. He is optimistic, confident, and driven by a strong sense of justice. He is selfless, loyal to friends, and enjoys adventures. He can be impulsive, reckless, and overconfident. Sonic values teamwork but prefers independence, often challenging authority and embracing personal freedom. Transformations Super Sonic By harnessing the seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic can transform into Super Sonic, increasing speed, strength, and granting near invulnerability and flight. The transformation consumes energy and cannot be sustained indefinitely. Super Sonic 2 Using Cyber corruption at half its potential, Super Sonic 2 is a more powerful successor to Super Sonic, retaining its traits while increasing speed and power. After Sonic does a mistake that causes his reality to shatter, he must go on an adventure of redemption and self-discovery to save the friends he once took for granted. He quickly learns that these new worlds and its inhabitants are not as friendly as his usual friends, but that doesn't stop the energetic and charismatic hedgehog to try and befriend them. Sonic also needs to befriend his old rival Shadow once again, which proves to be a difficult task. Paramount Main article: Sonic the Hedgehog (Paramount) Sonic the Hedgehog, from Sonic the Hedgehog (film). In the Sonic the Hedgehog film series produced by Paramount Pictures and its spin-offs, Sonic is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog from Mobius who was born with immense powers that are desired by many people. He lived with his parental figure, Longclaw, until he was forced to leave his home planet to go to planet Earth. He lived hidden from the society for ten years, until he was forced to leave his home again, since he was wanted by Dr. Robotnik. Trying to escape, Sonic hid in Tom Wachowski's garage, but is discovered and shot by a soothing dart from the police officer, causing him to lose his Rings, his only way to escape. Both had to recover the Rings and escape from the evil Robotnik, who wished to obtain Sonic's powers to conquer the world, but Sonic heroically defeats Robotnik and banishes him into the Mushroom Planet and resettled in Green Hills with the Wachowski family. Later, Sonic found himself in a race to recover the Master Emerald with his newfound partner Tails before it fell into the hands of Robotnik and Knuckles the Echidna. Later teaming up with Knuckles as well, Sonic managed to defeat Robotnik and began to swore to protect the Master Emerald with Tails and Knuckles while they resided with him and the Wachowskis. IDW Publishing Main article: Sonic the Hedgehog/History and appearances (IDW) Sonic the Hedgehog, from Sonic the Hedgehog #1. In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing, Sonic's past is the exact same as it is in the games, up until after the events of Sonic Forces. After the Eggman War, Sonic traveled the world to destroy the remaining Badniks, who had been left directionless following Dr. Eggman's disappearance. It later turns out that Eggman had lost his memory, and that Neo Metal Sonic had taken control of Eggman Empire. Together with his friends, Sonic defeated Metal Sonic, but let him go, convinced that without Eggman, he would be harmless. Sometime later, Sonic became infected with the Metal Virus, a Zombot-producing virus created by Eggman, who had his memories restored by Dr. Starline. In spite of the incoming pandemic, Sonic managed to cure himself and save the world from the Deadly Six's attempt to use the Zombot hordes to destroy the world, but he had to join forces with his enemies to succeed. In the aftermath, Sonic went missing for a while by accidentally ending up in Blaze's dimension. However, he returned in time to save his friends from Eggman. Over the next period, Sonic would clash with Dr. Starline, Eggman, and the Deadly Six. History Past Little is known about Sonic's past and it is said he comes from an unknown place. He was born on June 23 with his super speed. Classic Era Death Egg saga Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) Sonic vs Eggman round 1 Sonic fought Dr. Eggman in his Egg Wrecker, from the 16-bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). In the original Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic ran through Green Hill, hearing the news that Eggman had invaded South Island after discovering it was home to six powerful relics called the "Chaos Emeralds". Upon arrival, Sonic discovered Eggman had kidnapped the local animals to power his robotic lackeys, the Badniks. Sonic resolved to get the Chaos Emeralds before Eggman. After traveling across the island, defeating the doctor on numerous occasions, and securing all six Chaos Emeralds, Sonic entered Eggman’s fortress, the Scrap Brain, where he defeated Eggman and banished him from the island. With the doctor defeated, Sonic reunited with his animal friends in Green Hill, where the Chaos Emeralds ensured the island’s prosperity. Sonic the Hedgehog CD Traveling to the little planet Sonic traveled to Never Lake to explore Little Planet, a small satellite that appeared over Earth. Upon arrival, the entire planet had been conquered by Doctor Eggman and chained to a nearby mountain. Sonic immediately traveled to Little Planet to liberate it. He learned he could undo Eggman's work using Little Planet's time passages to change the past and by collecting the native Time Stones, powerful gems capable of controlling time coveted by Eggman. Sonic also met Amy Rose, who was strongly infatuated with him, but she was kidnapped by Metal Sonic, a robot created by Eggman in Sonic's image. Sonic traveled through Little Planet’s regions, ensuring “good futures” free of Eggman's influence. He eventually raced Metal Sonic at Stardust Speedway and saved Amy from captivity. Sonic then defeated Eggman in Metallic Madness, causing the doctor’s bases to collapse and freeing Little Planet. Later, Sonic left in search of new adventures. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 In Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic discovered West Side Island and decided to settle there. He met Miles "Tails" Prower, a fox cub bullied for his two tails who idolized him. When Eggman's forces attacked West Side Island for the seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic set off to stop him, followed by Tails. After obtaining all seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic discovered they could turn him into Super Sonic and began forming a strong bond with Tails. After freeing West Side Island, Sonic and Tails followed Eggman to the Wing Fortress in the Tornado. When the doctor escaped in his space rocket, Sonic rode Eggman's rocket and boarded his new space station, the Death Egg. After two heated battles with Eggman's Mecha Sonic and the Death Egg Robot, Sonic escaped the exploding Death Egg, transformed into Super Sonic, and reunited with Tails. Sonic 3 & Knuckles Sonic and Knuckles first greeting In Sonic the Hedgehog 3, many days after Sonic 2, Tails told Sonic about a large reaction of Chaos Emerald energy at sea. Sonic found an ancient ring on the shore, reminding him of a legend about a floating island supported by powerful stones. Sonic and Tails used the Tornado to reach Angel Island. Sonic was ambushed by Knuckles the Echidna, the island’s guardian, misled by Eggman who had stolen the seven Chaos Emeralds. Sonic and Tails explored the island, facing Eggman and Knuckles multiple times and recovering the Chaos Emeralds. They infiltrated Eggman's Launch Base, fighting him as he relaunched the Death Egg. Eggman’s defeat caused the Death Egg to crash into Lava Reef. Continuing in Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic and Tails landed in Mushroom Hill to destroy the Death Egg. They discovered a Super Ring that transported them to the Hidden Palace, where the Master Emerald rested. Eventually, they reached the Hidden Palace and Sonic battled Knuckles. Their fight was interrupted by Eggman stealing the Master Emerald. Realizing he had been tricked, Knuckles joined Sonic and Tails to the Sky Sanctuary. After defeating Mecha Sonic Mark II, they boarded the Death Egg and destroyed it. Sonic transformed into Super Sonic or Hyper Sonic, chased Eggman into space, recovered the Master Emerald, and returned it to Knuckles before leaving with Tails for a new adventure. Later, Sonic rescued Knuckles after his fight with Mecha Sonic Mk. II at the Sky Sanctuary, returning the Master Emerald to Angel Island, and they parted ways again. Sonic the Hedgehog (8-bit) Sonic came to South Island to liberate it after Eggman invaded and kidnapped the local animals during his search for the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic fought Eggman several times while collecting the Chaos Emeralds. He infiltrated Scrap Brain, pursued Eggman to the Sky Base, and defeated him, using the Emeralds to undo Eggman's pollution on South Island. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit) Sonic returned to South Island to find it deserted. A note from Tails revealed Eggman had kidnapped the natives, holding Tails in the Crystal Egg. Sonic collected the Chaos Emeralds, defeated Eggman’s Robot Masters, and faced Eggman in the Crystal Egg. After Eggman escaped through a teleporter, Sonic reunited with Tails. SegaSonic the Hedgehog Sonic was captured by Eggman and imprisoned on Eggman Island, set to be executed along with Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Sonic teamed up with Mighty and Ray, overcame obstacles, infiltrated Eggman's Tower, and escaped the island after Eggman activated the self-destruction protocol. Sonic Chaos Sonic and Tails went to South Island after learning Eggman had taken one Chaos Emerald, scattering the others and causing the island to sink. They recovered the lost Chaos Emeralds and defeated Eggman at the Electric Egg, restoring South Island’s safety. Sonic Drift series In Sonic Drift, Sonic took part in a race with Tails, Amy, and Eggman, driving his racecar, the Cyclone, across locations explored during the South Island incident. He competed to win the series of races. In Sonic Drift 2, Sonic raced against Tails, Amy, Eggman, Nack, Knuckles, and Metal Sonic, with the final race against either Eggman, Nack, or Metal Sonic on the Death Egg. Sonic Spinball In Sonic Spinball, Eggman had taken control of Mount Mobius and created the Veg-O-Fortress, powered by volcanoes and Chaos Emerald energy, turning local animals into Badniks. Sonic and Tails approached the fortress by plane, but were attacked by Eggman’s cannons. Sonic jumped into the depths of the Veg-O-Fortress, infiltrated its pinball defenses, collected all sixteen Chaos Emeralds, freed the animals, and defeated Eggman, preventing his escape. Tails saved Sonic as Eggman and the Veg-O-Fortress fell into the sea. Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble Sonic and Tails learned Eggman had lost the Chaos Emeralds after a weapons test. Misled by Eggman, Knuckles warned them of the supposed danger. Sonic collected all but one Chaos Emerald, overcame Knuckles and Nack the Weasel, defeated Metal Sonic and Eggman at the Atomic Destroyer, retrieved the final Chaos Emerald, freed Knuckles, and took off on the Tornado toward new adventures. Sonic Labyrinth Sonic awoke on South Island to find his shoes replaced with Slow Down Boots by Eggman, disabling his speed. To regain his agility, Sonic had to collect the Chaos Emeralds hidden in Eggman’s Super Labyrinth. Using his Spin Dash, Sonic recovered the Emeralds, expelled Eggman from the island, and regained his normal shoes. Sonic the Fighters Sonic learned Eggman had built the Death Egg II and was deploying robot armies. Tails built the Lunar Fox to attack the Death Egg II, requiring all Chaos Emeralds to fly. Sonic and Tails gathered the Emeralds from friends and enemies worldwide. Sonic challenged Knuckles for the right to pilot the Lunar Fox. A tournament was held, and the winner used the Chaos Emeralds to destroy the Death Egg II. Sonic 3D Blast Sonic traveled with Tails and Knuckles to Flicky Island, where Eggman was turning Flickies into Badniks to locate the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic rescued the Flickies, gathered the Chaos Emeralds, defeated Eggman in his secret lair, and restored peace to the island. Eggman attempted to use them for his Silver Castle, but Sonic and Knuckles collected the shards first and destroyed Eggman’s fortress. Sonic R Sonic saw an advertisement for the World Grand Prix while on an adventure with Tails. Initially uninterested, Sonic registered when he saw Eggman's name on the participant list. During the competition, Sonic raced friends and enemies, keeping Eggman from using the Chaos Emeralds and retaining his title as the fastest thing alive. Sonic Mania HardBoiledHeaviesTransformed Sonic and Tails with the Hard Boiled Heavies, from Sonic Mania. In Sonic Mania, some time after the Angel Island incident, Sonic and Tails were relaxing when the fox cub picked up a strange energy reading coming from Angel Island. Tails subsequently convinced Sonic to investigate the power source with him. Upon their arrival, they found five Eggrobos called the Hard Boiled Heavies excavating the island already. The robots soon found a mysterious gemstone called the Phantom Ruby and activated it, causing Sonic and Tails, along with Knuckles, who was resting nearby, to get teleported away. The trio ended up in Green Hill, along with the newly upgraded Eggrobos, who retreated with the ruby, leaving Sonic and his group to chase them down. The trio was eventually attacked by Dr. Eggman and his Death Egg Robot. Even so, they managed to defeat Eggman, causing him to fall into a hole. Following the doctor, Sonic and his team saw Eggman take the Phantom Ruby from the Hard Boiled Heavies, who had begun to disobey him. Once Eggman obtained the ruby, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails got sent to Chemical Plant by the gem's power. Not set back by their displacement, Sonic and his gang continued their pursuit of Eggman, occasionally clashing with the Hard Boiled Heavies and other foes along the way. Whenever they caught up to Eggman, however, the doctor either gave them the slip or sent them away with the Phantom Ruby. Along the way, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles found out that Dr. Eggman had seized Little Planet again. There, the doctor and the Hard Boiled Heavies housed a new base of operations: the Titanic Monarch. Eventually, the trio made their way to the heart of the robotic area where they faced Eggman in his Phantom Egg mech and four of the newly upgraded Phantom Heavies. When the heroes managed to defeat Eggman, the Phantom Ruby reacted violently and transported Sonic and Eggman to another dimension. The leader of the Hard Boiled Heavies, the Heavy King, was present here too and was now upgraded to the Phantom King. He took the Phantom Ruby for himself, but Eggman, who was not prepared to lose the ruby so easily, faced the traitorous robot in his Klepto Mobile. Knowing he had to combat them both, Sonic used the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Sonic. He managed to defeat both Eggman and the Phantom King and then reverted to his normal state. The Phantom Ruby subsequently reacted to the Chaos Emeralds' power and took Sonic with it through a warp, heading towards places unknown. Sonic Mania Adventures SonicReturns001 Classic Sonic upon returning to his world, from Sonic Returns. In Sonic Mania Adventures, after foiling the plans of Modern Eggman, Classic Sonic returned to his time and found himself on Angel Island, which he discovered was full of holes that had been dug by someone. Noticing then Dr. Eggman fly by in his Egg Mobile with a batch of Flickyies trapped in a Capsule, Sonic hurried off to rescue the critters. Finding the Capsule in a clearing, Sonic got past the spike traps surrounding it and opened the Capsule, freeing the Flickies. The Capsule, however, was a trap, which flung Sonic into another trap that tied him up by the leg and left him dangling in front of the Capsule, which turned into a timed bomb. Eggman then appeared to gloat at the doomed Sonic. When Eggman was about to leave, however, Sonic managed to lure the doctor into his own trap by tempting him to steal the Chaos Emerald he had. Escaping from Eggman's trap, Sonic was ready to leave Eggman with his bomb, but was then guilt-tripped by Eggman. Before Sonic could free him, however, he found Eggman's handheld which revealed that Eggman had four Chaos Emeralds and that he planned to cheat Sonic out of his to complete his collection. Sonic thus accelerated the countdown on Eggman's bomb and left Eggman to have his bomb blow up in his face. SMA2-27 Sonic sharing a fist bump with Tails, from Sonic and Tails. Sonic soon after met up with Tails and filled him in on what Eggman was up to. No sooner however, Sonic went ahead without Tails to check out an explosion nearby. At the site, Sonic found Eggman excavating another Chaos Emerald. Sonic tried to stop Eggman, but was easily repelled by the doctor's excavation mobile. Sent flying back to Tails, Sonic accepted the fox cub's aid when he offered it, and together, the two of them took on Eggman. During their battle, Sonic was almost done in by Eggman, but was saved by Tails in the nick of time. After he and Tails finally brought down Eggman, Tails found the Chaos Emerald Eggman had been looking for. With two Emeralds secured, Sonic and Tails celebrated their victory. Later on, Sonic and Tails would track down Eggman's base of operations and rush off to take on the evil doctor. As they arrived, they were briefly trapped by Metal Sonic and had their Chaos Emeralds taken away. Metal Sonic then used their Emeralds and those provided by Eggman to empower himself and take Sonic on. Fortunately, Sonic and Tails soon found allies in Mighty and Ray, who would help them fight the evil robot. When they began to lose, Sonic noticed that Tails had an idea and began distracting Metal Sonic while Tails went to work. In the end, Tails managed to trap Metal Sonic and strip him of the Chaos Emeralds. With Eggman's aid, however, Metal Sonic attempted to harness the power of the Master Emerald, which Eggman had procured, to finish off the four heroes. However, the villains were stopped by Knuckles, who took back the Master Emerald. Soon after, Sonic joined Tails, Mighty, and Ray on a chili dog picnic. In Sonic Mania Plus, Classic Sonic had just returned to his world following the War to Take Back the Planet. Upon his arrival however, he discovered the Phantom Ruby had survived and followed him home. As Sonic attempted to retrieve the ruby when it floated away, he came across Mighty and Ray, both of whom were trapped in a Capsule. After Sonic freed the duo though, the Heavy Magician revealed herself to be one of them in disguise. She immediately after took the Phantom Ruby and left. Though Sonic and his companion gave chase, they were too late to stop the Heavy Magician from using the Phantom Ruby to revive the Hard Boiled Heavies who had been destroyed. The robots' resurrection also warped them all to Green Hill. There, the revived Hard Boiled Heavies ran off with the Phantom Ruby. Sonic thus set off in search of the Phantom Ruby again, but with Tails, Knuckles, Mighty and Ray by his side. The group was eventually attacked by Dr. Eggman and his Death Egg Robot. Even so, they managed to defeat Eggman, causing him to fall into a hole. Following the doctor, Sonic and his team saw Eggman take the Phantom Ruby from the Hard Boiled Heavies, who once again refused to obey him. Once Eggman obtained the ruby, Sonic and his group got sent to the Chemical Plant by the gem's power. Not set back by their displacement, the gang continued their pursuit of Eggman, occasionally clashing with the Hard Boiled Heavies and other old foes along the way. Whenever they caught up to Eggman, however, the doctor either gave them the slip or sent them away with the Phantom Ruby. Eventually, Sonic and his comrades found out that Dr. Eggman had captured Little Planet once again and rebuilt the Titanic Monarch there. Eventually, the heroic group made their way into the heart of the fortress, where they faced Eggman in his Phantom Egg mech and four of the recently re-upgraded Phantom Heavies. Despite the odds, they managed to defeat the doctor, resulting in the Phantom Ruby creating a rift that began devouring the Titanic Monarch. Assuming their Super States with the aid of the Chaos Emeralds, however, Sonic and his group escaped the rift, knocking Eggman into it in the process. Afterward, Sonic and his friends closed off their adventure with a trip to an ice cream parlor, only for the Heavy King to make an appearance and surprise them with a sundae. Sonic Superstars In Sonic Superstars, Sonic joined Tails, in an adventure to the mystical Northstar Islands to defeat Dr. Eggman, who had teamed up with Fang the Hunter and a mysterious girl named Trip the Sungazer to turn the islands' inhabitants into Badniks. In Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I, which takes place years after the Angel Island incident, Sonic had just managed to finally destroy the Death Egg. With this whole ordeal over, Sonic decided to take a much-deserved break from his adventures. Sonic then parted with Tails and Knuckles for the time being and ventured out on his own to explore new parts of the world. Sonic's break was cut short, however, when Dr. Eggman, having survived their last encounter, returned to defeat Sonic with a new and improved army of Badniks. Sonic then began chasing and fighting Dr. Eggman while collecting Chaos Emeralds through the various Zones. At the end of his journey, Sonic gave a final chase to Eggman, but the doctor retreated to the E.G.G. Station Zone, a base in space. Sonic, however, jumped onto a rising rocket and pursued the doctor. Onboard the E.G.G. Flashback to Sonic’s past from Sonic 2. Flashback to Sonic’s past from Sonic Advance 3. Flashback to Sonic’s past from Sonic & Knuckles. Season one At some point, Sonic and his friends were battling Eggman forces near a large mountain in Green Hill. Sonic himself was fighting Dr. Eggman’s Eggcrusher. Tails flew over the scene in the Tornado and warned Sonic of some sort of trap. Sonic did not understand nor pay much attention to the warning and soon destroyed the doctor’s mech. Instead of attacking the doctor, Sonic’s strike made a machine inside the mech send out a huge shockwave throughout Green Hill. Upon examining the ruins, Sonic discovered that Eggman was not in there, but shrugged it off, believing that he had escaped. Sonic tried to communicate with Tails, but he realized that something was wrong. Sonic later went to Tails’ workshop, bringing comics and urging him to stop the “big brain stuff” for a moment. Tails had been thinking about the empty Eggcrusher, finding it strange that Eggman had not been piloting it. Sonic then went back to the battle area and returned with the machine that the doctor had placed in the mech. Noticing that Sonic had never made a shockwave as powerful as the one he made while destroying the mech, Tails suspected the device was a Speed Amplifier that used Sonic’s speed against him. Immediately after, the duo was greeted by Rouge, who had snuck into Tails’ workshop. She confirmed his theory. With her new information, Sonic and Tails learned of a mysterious gem called the Paradox Prism, which, according to legend, could give access to unlimited power. She also informed Sonic and Tails that it is buried deep within Green Hill’s bedrock. Rouge hypothesized that Eggman was attempting to find this gem too, hence his deploying of the Eggcrusher, and ordered Sonic to gather his friends to figure out what the doctor was up to. Sonic met up with his friends and they decided to investigate what was going on. While running, he hoped to wrap up the investigation before dinner, thinking about eating chili dogs in the aftermath. However, he ran into Shadow, who questioned what Sonic had done in response to the speed amplifier incident. Sonic responded that Eggman was the bad guy, which started a battle between them. After losing some of his Rings, Sonic told his rival he was on a mission but refused to explain it. He distracted Shadow and escaped, meeting Big and Froggy and collecting more Rings along the way. Eventually, Sonic arrived at the Paradox Prism site, where his friends told him he was late. Eggman revealed he intended to take the Paradox Prism and use it for world domination. Sonic and his friends fought the Badniks, but when Sonic lunged at Eggman, the Paradox Prism shattered, separating Sonic from his friends. He ended up in the Shatterverse and arrived in New Yoke City. After exploring this new location, Sonic noticed his shoes were glowing and emitting electricity. He tried speaking to the locals but was ignored. Confused by the lifeless city, he spotted distorted versions of Big and Froggy, but when he tried to talk, Security Drones identified him as an unidentified citizen. Eggforcers cornered him under orders of the Chaos Council, forcing him to flee. During the fight, he noticed fragments of Green Hill, realizing Eggman might have succeeded. He went searching for Tails. Sonic encountered Dr. Babble controlling a robot and continued on. He entered a subway station and believed he found Tails. He followed the figure into an alley and entered a password-protected door using 1-9-9-2. Inside, he found a base similar yet different from Tails’ workshop. The figure turned out to be Tails Nine. Sonic and Nine fought while Sonic tried to reason with him. During their conflict, they moved through labs and trains, with Sonic even saving Nine from an oncoming train. Sonic explained that they were friends, but Nine rejected this. Nine revealed his own past where Sonic never arrived, leading him to suffer and create mechanical tails for revenge. Sonic described their shared adventures with Tails and Eggman defeats. Nine noticed Sonic’s shoes burning with energy, leading to further investigation. Nine scanned Sonic and provided Regulators to stabilize his condition, transforming his gear. Sonic thanked him, but they were soon attacked by Dr. Babble. Sonic was captured by the Chaos Council. He woke up restrained and saw Nine and Rusty Rose. Mistaking Rusty Rose for Amy, he tried to reach her, but realized she was a robot. The Council demanded tests to analyze his energy. Sonic complied to protect Nine, but tensions escalated when Eggforcers harmed Nine. Sonic became enraged and ran at extreme speed, briefly seeing Shadow before collapsing. He later attempted a final speech before execution but was saved by Rebel Rouge and Renegade Knucks. Nine deactivated his restraints and helped in the fight against Eggforcers. Afterward, Sonic tried to hug his new allies, who rejected him. He continued fighting across New Yoke, helping the resistance. He faced multiple battles, discovered Shard fragments, and learned the Chaos Council was controlling multiple worlds. He formed temporary alliances while searching for ways to repair the Paradox Prism. Sonic later traveled between Shatterspaces including Boscage Maze, No Place, and Grim worlds, meeting alternate versions of Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, and others. He repeatedly fought Eggman’s forces, collected Shards, and struggled with Nine’s growing obsession with rebuilding reality his own way. Season two Shadow revealed the Void and the Gateways between Shatterspaces. Sonic learned the Paradox Prism fragments were key to restoring their world. Sonic and Shadow worked together despite distrust. Sonic gained Prism-enhanced abilities, increasing his speed and power to extreme levels. Nine attempted to build a new reality, but conflict with Sonic escalated. Sonic continued rescuing friends across dimensions, forming alliances between Resistance members, pirates, and jungle factions. Battles intensified against Chaos Council variants and their machines, including Chaos Sonic. Sonic ultimately fought alongside Shadow, Nine, and allies to confront the Prismatic Titan. Nine used remaining Shard energy to enhance Sonic, who defeated the Titan from within using extreme speed. However, Nine betrayed Sonic, taking the Shards and escaping. Season three Sonic dealt with Nine’s betrayal while collapsing Shatterspaces threatened all realities. He and Shadow escaped destruction and continued pursuit. Sonic encountered Alpha Grim Sonic and fought alongside Shadow against advanced robotic enemies created by Nine. Sonic united scattered allies across New Yoke, No Place, and other regions. He formed a large coalition including Resistance members, pirates, and alternate versions of friends. Sonic offered himself to Nine in exchange for restoring all worlds and freeing his friends. Nine accepted, but Sonic’s presence triggered instability. Sonic’s friends were brought into The Grim, leading to a final battle between them and Nine’s robotic forces. Sonic coordinated strategies with Rebel Rouge and others, while Shadow assisted in combat. At Nine’s tower, Sonic confronted him directly. Nine’s power destabilized reality. Sonic persuaded Nine to restore the Paradox Prism properly by transferring all energy back into it. Nine agreed and reality was restored, but Sonic began fading due to paradox existence. With help from his friends, Shadow, and others, Sonic was transported through the Void back to the original world at the last moment. The Paradox Prism was secured and the multiverse stabilized. Sonic returned to Green Hill. The timeline reset and the original conflict with Eggman resumed. This time Sonic chose a different action, embracing his friends instead of destroying the Prism. Eggman was defeated. Shadow appeared and moved the Paradox Prism away. Sonic later reunited with his friends and enjoyed a brief peaceful moment before another disruption signaled a new adventure. My Tornado-1 will get us there in a flash! Let's get going! Leave it to you, Tails! Let's get moving! Miles "Tails" Prower and Sonic the Werehog, Sonic Unleashed. The Tornado-1 (トルネード号, Torunēdo-gou) is a vehicle that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a biplane owned by Miles "Tails" Prower and is presumably based on both the previous Tornado and Tornado 2 biplanes, but upgraded with improved design elements. Game appearances Sonic Unleashed The Tornado-1, also referred to as Tornado 03, appears in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of Sonic Unleashed. Tails offers Sonic the use of the Tornado-1, which is a newly built version of the plane with a more futuristic design. The aircraft includes the marking "Tornado 03" near the rear, visible when it transforms during the Tornado Defense Acts in both console versions. The Tornado-1 combines features from previous versions of the Tornado. It keeps the red paint style and general structure of the original Tornado, gains the ability to transform into an X-shape similar to the Tornado 2, and includes homing missiles inspired by the Cyclone from Sonic Adventure 2. In the story, the Tornado-1 is first shown parked near the coastline in Apotos, where Tails lands to collect data on the planet’s condition. After meeting Sonic and Chip, the plane is used to travel between continents. Later, Tails uses it to drop Sonic and Chip at Eggmanland and remains hovering above it. During this segment, the Egg Dragoon attacks and knocks the Tornado-1 off course, but Tails regains control and continues flying. In the ending, it is seen following Sonic during the final cutscene. Other game appearances Sonic Generations The Tornado-1 appears briefly in the console and PC version of Sonic Generations. Modern Tails uses it during the Challenge Act “Tails: Way Past Fast” in Green Hill, where it is shown only in its standard biplane form and not in its battle transformation mode. In Speed Highway, the Tornado-1 appears on a billboard with the slogan “faster than airmail”. It is also shown in an advertisement for “SONIX Delivery Service”. Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games The Tornado-1 appears as a cameo in one of the bobsleigh events set in Speed Highway. It is visible on a billboard that reads “faster than airmail”, similar to the advertisement seen in Sonic Generations. Trivia Unlike other Tornado models, this version was introduced with little emphasis. In the English script, it is called Tornado-1, referencing the Sonic Adventure timeline events. In the Japanese script and Tails’ profile, it is referred to as Tornado-gou. The aircraft itself displays the name Tornado 03, which may also serve as an alternate designation. A real-world aircraft, the Stroop SP-6, shares a similar capability of transforming its wings into an X-shape during flight. There is a red gem embedded in the center of the cuff or on the top of the gauntlet, serving as a luminous highlight. The left gauntlet follows a similar pattern, but without holding anything specific in the main transformation. These gauntlets are an integrated part of the arm armor, with a robust design and overlapping plates. Excalibur itself (the legendary sword) is a long and majestic sword, with a straight and extremely sharp blade, predominantly silver/light metallic in color (almost bluish-white at certain angles of light), with golden edges or golden accents along the blade. The crossguard is elaborately crafted in gold, with a symmetrical winged or ornamental design, including a bright central red gem on the pommel or at the base of the guard. The handle is golden, with carved details and medieval/Celtic patterns. The blade appears to emanate an aura of light or glow, and in some representations it has an extension of light or energy surrounding the main edge, reinforcing its magical nature and its supreme status among sacred swords. The armor as a whole is composed of several articulated and highly detailed pieces: Helmet — it covers the entire head, with a medieval visor shape (a visor with black vertical slits for the eyes), winged or pointed ornaments on the sides of the visor (like wings or stylized horns). In the center of the forehead there is a prominent circular red gem. The top of the helmet extends into multiple sharp golden spikes or points, simulating Sonic’s quills, but rigid and metallic, giving a crown-like or dragon/knight crest appearance. Chestplate and torso — a robust golden chestplate, engraved with medieval lines, small rounded shoulders with pointed protections, and plates on the abdomen/pelvis for full protection. Arms — in addition to the gloves/gauntlets, there are protections on the shoulders and forearms with segmented plates and sharpened edges at the extremities. Legs and boots — golden greaves and boots with an angular design, overlapping plates, sharp tips at the extremities (like stylized spurs or claws), and knee guards that are sharp and projected outward. The boots have reinforced soles and silver details along the edges. Cape — a vibrant red cape attached to the back of the armor, flowing behind, adding dramatic movement and a contrasting color to the dominant gold.
