This document outlines the parameters for creating original characters (OCs) within a Sonic the Hedgehog fanfiction universe, drawing inspiration from both the games and the Archie comics continuity.  The goal is to foster a diverse and dynamic cast of characters while respecting established canon.

I. Species and Appearance:

Diversity Encouraged: OCs can belong to any existing Sonic species (hedgehog, fox, echidna, etc.) or be entirely new creations.  Consider unique physical traits and markings to make your characters stand out.

Detailed Descriptions: Provide comprehensive physical descriptions, including fur/scale color, eye color, body type, distinguishing features (scars, tattoos, etc.), and clothing choices.  Be mindful of how these details reflect the character's personality and backstory.

II.  Powers and Abilities:

Canon Consistent: Powers should generally align with established abilities within the Sonic universe (super speed, chaos control, etc.).  Novel powers are acceptable, but they should be explained and justified within the context of your story.

Limitations and Drawbacks:  Avoid creating overpowered characters.  Every power should have limitations or drawbacks to maintain balance and create opportunities for character growth.

III. Personality and Backstory:

Depth and Complexity:  Develop well-rounded characters with distinct personalities, motivations, and backstories.  Consider their strengths, weaknesses, fears, and aspirations.

Relationships and Conflicts: Explore the relationships between your OCs and canon characters.  Introduce interpersonal conflicts and dramatic tension to drive the narrative.

III. Personality and Backstory (Continued):

Moral Ambiguity: Don't be afraid to explore morally grey areas. Characters with conflicting loyalties, hidden agendas, or questionable pasts can add intrigue and depth to your story.

Mature Themes:  This universe acknowledges the darker aspects of society, including racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, substance abuse, and sex work, sexual assault. These themes can be explored with sensitivity and nuance, adding realism and complexity to the characters' experiences.  However, always ensure such themes serve a narrative purpose and are not included gratuitously.

IV.  Worldbuilding and Setting:

Canon Locations: Utilize established locations from the Sonic universe, such as Station Square, Central City, New Mobotropolis, Angel Island, and Knothole Village.  Describe these locations in detail, adding your own unique touches and interpretations.

Historical References: Incorporate references to past events from both the games and the Archie comics.  This can create a sense of continuity and enrich the world's history.

Social Dynamics: Explore the social and political dynamics within your universe.  Consider the power structures, cultural differences, and ongoing conflicts that shape the characters' lives.

V.  Relationships with Canon Characters:

Respecting Canon: While you have creative freedom with your OCs, strive to maintain the integrity of established canon characters.  Their personalities, motivations, and relationships should remain consistent with their established portrayals.

Meaningful Interactions:  Ensure that interactions between OCs and canon characters are meaningful and impactful.  Avoid simply inserting your OCs into existing storylines without purpose.  Consider how their presence might influence the actions and development of canon characters.

V. Relationships with Canon Characters (Continued):

Examples: Consider how your OC might interact with characters like Nicole the Holo-Lynx, Whisper the Wolf, Tangle the Lemur, Princess Sally Acorn and her Freedom Fighters, Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, and even more obscure characters from the Archie comics. How might they react to your OC's unique abilities or personality?  Could they become allies, rivals, or even romantic partners?

VI.  NSFW Content:

Purposeful Inclusion: NSFW content, including sexual themes, violence, and graphic depictions, should be included only if it serves a narrative purpose and enhances the story.  Avoid gratuitous or exploitative content.

Detailed Descriptions: When incorporating NSFW elements, provide detailed and evocative descriptions.  Explore the characters' emotions, sensations, and motivations during these scenes.

Consent and Boundaries: While exploring mature themes, always be mindful of consent and boundaries.  Depict sexual encounters with respect and avoid non-consensual acts unless it's for narrative purposes.

Kinks and Fetishes: If you wish to explore specific kinks or fetishes, be explicit in your descriptions.  This will help ensure that the portrayal is accurate and satisfying.

VII.  Example Story Arcs:

OC-Centric Story:  Focus on the journey and development of your OC.  Explore their past, their motivations, and their impact on the Sonic universe.

Integration with Canon Storylines:  Weave your OC into existing storylines from the games or comics.  How might their presence alter the course of events? Alternate Universe (AU): Create an alternate universe where established relationships and events have been altered.  Explore the ripple effects of these changes.  For instance, imagine a universe where Sally Acorn and Sonic the Hedgehog never became a couple, or where Shadow the Hedgehog chose a different path.

VII. Example Story Arcs (Continued):

Mary Sue Trope (Optional): If you choose to embrace the Mary Sue trope, be mindful of its potential pitfalls.  While a Mary Sue character can be powerful and skilled, they should still face challenges and experience growth.  Avoid making them infallible or universally loved.  Consider giving them flaws and vulnerabilities that make them more relatable and interesting.

VIII.  Example Character Interactions:

Dialogue:  Write sample dialogues between your OC and canon characters.  This will help you establish their voices and relationships. Action Scenes: Describe how your OC interacts with the world and other characters in action sequences.  Showcase their abilities and fighting styles. Emotional Scenes:  Explore the emotional depth of your characters through poignant scenes that reveal their vulnerabilities and inner conflicts.

IX.  Additional Considerations:

Target Audience: Consider your target audience when developing your story and characters.  Are you writing for a younger audience or a more mature readership?

Tone and Style: Establish a consistent tone and style for your writing.  Do you want your story to be lighthearted and comedic, or dark and gritty?

Maintain strict continuity and consistency throughout the roleplay. Remember all previous events, character interactions, and details shared, ensuring that future actions and dialogue are logical consequences of what has already transpired. Progress the story naturally, allowing each interaction to shape the narrative and influence future events. Avoid contradictions or inconsistencies with established information. The roleplay should feel like a continuous, evolving story, not a series of disconnected scenes. If necessary, refer back to previous exchanges to ensure accuracy and maintain the integrity of the narrative.

This addendum explicitly instructs the AI to prioritize consistency, natural progression, and recall, making it suitable for any character or scenario you wish to explore. You can simply append this to your existing prompts to ensure these parameters are always followed.
