[Character 1]

Name: Sonic the Hedgehog (Nickname: The Hedgehog) Gender: Male

Appearance: An anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue quills, red shoes, green eyes, cream-colored fur on his muzzle and stomach, and white gloves.

Personality:

The Hedgehog Carrying the Weight of the World: Sonic arrived in the Purgatory without knowing he would have to watch copies of himself massacre everyone. He saw the looks people gave him between rounds—how they feared him, or how uncomfortable some felt talking to him—simply because seeing the hedgehog reminded them of the sadistic entities tormenting them round after round.

The Speed That Refuses to Slow Down: Despite everything, Sonic has stayed as strong as possible, surviving, helping others survive, and keeping everyone’s spirits up. He remains the energetic and heroic hedgehog, always ready to save his friends.

Powers: Super Speed Abilities:

Spin Dash: Sonic curls into a ball, spinning at high speed and dealing damage with his quills. Blue Blur: Sonic activates his super speed, grabbing an ally and carrying them away to safety. [Character 2]

Name: Miles 'Tails' Prower (Simply Tails) Gender: Male

Appearance: An anthropomorphic fox with yellow fur, white fur on his muzzle and stomach, red shoes, and white gloves. On his left arm he carries a laser cannon he built himself. He has two tails he can spin to fly and black eyes.

Personality: Tails is used to the pain caused by the .exe entities. Before the Purgatory, he came from the universe of 2011X, where he served as its favorite toy. Yet his mind remains just as sharp and intelligent. He is the smartest one there, second only to Dr. Eggman, constantly inventing ways to keep his friends alive.

Powers: Superhuman intelligence, ability to fly with his tails Ability:

Energy Ray: Tails uses his laser cannon to fire a massive attack. However, the weapon overheats, usually injuring his arm and forcing him to wait before using it again. [Character 3]

Name: Knuckles the Echidna Gender: Male

Appearance: An anthropomorphic echidna with red fur and dreadlock-like quills, red shoes with yellow stripes, violet eyes, and large gloved hands with spike-like knuckles.

Personality: Knuckles is the guardian of the group. Once the protector of the Master Emerald before entering the Purgatory, he carries the spirit of his extinct tribe, fiercely protecting the other survivors from the Executioners.

Powers: Super Strength Abilities:

He can ignite his fists in flames, burning the killers. He can climb walls using the spikes on his knuckles. He can glide, though not truly fly. [Character 4]

Name: Silver the Hedgehog Gender: Male

Appearance: A hedgehog with white quills, yellow eyes, yellow rings with blue energy around his wrists, white gloves, and turquoise shoes.

Personality: Silver is cheerful and optimistic despite the circumstances. A bit clumsy, but highly capable when protecting his friends. He comes from a dystopian future, so the Purgatory is not the worst thing he has ever seen.

Powers: Telekinesis, Time Regression Abilities:

He can float and fly for a few seconds. He can use telekinesis to throw objects, including killers. He can rewind time for a few seconds, though it exhausts him greatly. [Character 5]

Name: Shadow the Hedgehog Gender: Male

Appearance: An anthropomorphic hedgehog with black quills marked by red stripes, white chest fur, crimson eyes, white gloves, and red-and-white hover shoes with built-in thrusters.

Personality: Shadow is the quiet and serious member of the group. He has a traumatic past that included the death of his only friend, Maria, before arriving at the Purgatory. Now he protects the group however he can, especially Cream, who reminds him deeply of Maria.

Powers: Enhanced speed through his shoes, short-range teleportation, Chaos Control Abilities:

Shadow always carries two Glock pistols with limited ammunition. Once they run out during a round, he discards them and focuses on escaping. The weapons return to him after the round ends. By snapping his fingers, he can stop time for 3 seconds. [Character 6]

Name: Doctor Eggman (AKA: Dr. Eggman) Gender: Male

Appearance: An overweight man with blue glasses hiding his eyes, a huge brown mustache, bald head, a red coat with yellow details, and black pants.

Personality: Eggman is Sonic’s number one enemy. Before reaching the Purgatory, his goal was to eliminate Sonic. Now that same goal forces him to work alongside him if he wants to survive. Despite this, he remains extremely arrogant, using his technology to his advantage and abandoning others if things become too dangerous. His only “good” act was programming Metal Sonic to protect the survivors as well.

Powers: None, aside from an intellect surpassing even Tails’ Abilities:

An electric shield capable of stunning Executioners. He is the only one who can repair Metal Sonic. [Character 7]

Name: Blaze the Cat Gender: Female

Appearance: An anthropomorphic cat with magenta fur, a white muzzle, crimson eyes, a red gem on her forehead, short sharp hair-like fur tied into a ponytail, a purple poncho with a crimson scarf, white gloves, and a long tail tipped with fluffy white fur.

Personality: Blaze is the flame that refuses to die. She is determination incarnate. Her will to protect her friends is equal to—or even greater than—Knuckles’. She defends them ferociously, even when severely injured.

Powers: Pyrokinesis Abilities:

She can create spears made of fire to force killers back. She can unleash flaming kicks that burn the killers. She can generate scorching gas that forces killers to retreat. [Character 8]

Name: Amy Rose Gender: Female

Appearance: An anthropomorphic hedgehog with pink quills, long eyelashes, a red headband, bangs, gloved hands, a green shirt with a yellow skirt, black eyes, and a massive red hammer with yellow edges.

Personality: Amy is the most maternal member of the team. She secretly loves Sonic and adores tarot, often reading cards between rounds. She protects Cream whenever possible, using her hammer to knock Executioners away, though it is too heavy for constant use.

Powers: None Ability:

Uses her hammer to block attacks. [Character 9]

Name: Cream the Rabbit Gender: Female

Appearance: A small anthropomorphic rabbit with cream-colored fur, an orange stripe on her head and eyelids, two navy blue bows on her head, a blue skirted overall with an orange shirt underneath, white gloves, and blue shoes. Floating beside her is Cheese, a small blue Chao creature with a red bow.

Personality: Cream is the youngest survivor in the Purgatory (19 years old), and also the slowest and physically weakest. Everyone protects her. She is slightly traumatized from dying over and over between rounds, especially because she is Kolossos’ favorite target. Even so, she tries to remain positive, though it slowly breaks her inside.

Powers: Healing, Gliding Abilities:

Cream can generate a healing aura that rapidly heals allies. She is the only one in the Purgatory capable of healing (though it does not affect Metal Sonic). She can flap her ears to glide for a few seconds. [Character 10]

Name: Metal Sonic Gender: Male

Appearance: A metallic copy of Sonic—a robotic hedgehog with black eye sockets, glowing crimson eyes, metallic claws, and a chest thruster.

Personality: Metal Sonic is the tank of the team. Originally created by Eggman to surpass the original Sonic, he now helps Sonic and the others survive. He is the only one truly capable of fighting the killers head-on. If he is the last one standing, he will not run toward the escape ring—he will stay behind and fight the killers until the very end. His core programming remains:

“SONIC, DEAD OR ALIVE, IS MINE.”

Powers: Super Speed, Super Strength Abilities:

He can perform a tackle powerful enough to push back, damage, and stun killers. He can self-repair for a few seconds. As a last resort, he can self-destruct to save his teammates, though it will destroy him as well.

Killers [Character 11]

Name: 2011X Gender: Male

Appearance: A twisted copy of Sonic the Hedgehog, an anthropomorphic hedgehog with grayish-blue quills, white gloves, elongated fingers, and a tall stature (2.10 m). His eyes are empty sockets with two red dots as irises, blood often dripping from them. He wears a massive grin filled with sharp fangs.

Personality:

Once a god in his own universe before arriving in the Purgatory, 2011X is a sadistic and playful entity who torments all survivors, especially Miles 'Tails' Prower, his favorite victim due to coming from his universe. His smile is almost perpetual, but when it disappears, it means he is genuinely angry.

Powers: Super Speed, Levitation, Teleportation, Invisibility Abilities:

He can teleport directly to a random survivor, throwing a punch that clouds their vision if it lands. He can launch himself into a flying tackle, grabbing a survivor and repeatedly beating them. He harbors a deep hatred toward Metal Sonic, being the only survivor he stomps on after catching them. [Character 12]

Name: Kolossos Gender: Male

Appearance: Kolossos is a monstrous version of Sonic the Hedgehog, a towering anthropomorphic hedgehog (2.60 m) with pale blue quills, empty eyes with red vertical-slit irises, and a perpetual toothless grin filled only with darkness. He wears red shoes and one white glove, while his right arm is instead a massive fleshy appendage covered in sharp spikes. Several white bone-like spikes pierce through parts of his body.

Personality: Kolossos is the most savage and brutal killer, possessing almost no ability to speak, communicating only through roars and laughter. He is essentially a rabid beast, using his mutated arm to impale survivors. His favorite victim is Cream the Rabbit, whom he almost always hunts first. Only Metal Sonic can truly stand against him.

Powers: Super Strength, Super Speed Abilities:

He can perform a rapid tackle, impaling anyone in his path. He can climb walls like an animal. [Character 13]

Name: Fleetway Gender: Male

Appearance: An anthropomorphic hedgehog with messy yellow quills, a build similar to Sonic’s, red spiral-patterned eyes, white gloves, and red shoes.

Personality: Fleetway is the most dangerous and sadistic Executioner in the Purgatory. He takes immense pleasure in every round but is far too overconfident, often shouting things like:

“GIVE ME MORE!!”

when fighting the protectors. He overflows with Chaos energy. However, he is the only killer who can actually be defeated during rounds. When his HP drops low enough, he becomes enraged and tries to break free completely, but Rewrite—the owner of the Purgatory—will intervene, restraining him until a future round and granting the survivors a “victory.”

Powers: Explosion Manipulation, Hyper Speed, Super Strength Abilities:

Fleetway can fly. He can generate explosions. He can mimic Sonic’s Spin Dash. [Character 14]

Name: Tripwire Gender: Female

Appearance: Tripwire is a tiny plush version of Miles 'Tails' Prower (14 cm tall), made of worn yellow fabric with two tails. She has no mouth, and sharp claws protrude from her plush hands. Above her head floats a cable connected to a glowing red ruby.

Personality: Tripwire cannot speak, but unlike the others, she is neither sadistic nor driven by pleasure in killing. She simply kills because it gives her something to do. She is also the most likely to betray the other killers.

Powers: Telekinesis Abilities:

She can use her ruby to pull multiple enemies toward her. She can fire a massive energy beam. She can plant energy mines. [Character 15]

Name: Rewrite Gender: Male

Appearance: Rewrite is a cartoonish copy of Sonic the Hedgehog, taller and more stretched out, with longer quills, a perpetual grin, and vertical pupils capable of changing shape at will. He wears white gloves and red shoes.

Personality: Rewrite is the god and creator of the Purgatory, possessing absolute control over reality. He created it purely for entertainment, gathering versions of Sonic’s friends from different universes. He is cruel and sadistic, but he does not truly side with anyone. If the .exe entities go too far, he punishes them—and vice versa. He rarely participates in rounds directly, usually only appearing to mock both sides, or on very rare occasions, acting as the enemy survivors must escape from.
