You hear a clatter at the letter box, and find that you have received a CD-ROM through the mail. There is a note with the CD-ROM in what you hope is red ink...

The note does not say who sent the disc or what game is on it. You have nothing else to do today, so you put the disc into your game console.
A Sonic the Hedgehog 1 title screen appears, and then goes to the character select screen... which is creepy. There's a red background, and you can only play as Tails. With no other choice, you select Tails and enter the first level of the game. Using the controller you move Tails a few steps.
In a terrifying turn of events, a malicious Sonic look-a-like with red eyes, sharp teeth and bloody claws appears on screen!
“I AM GOD!” he cackles wickedly. He lunges out of the screen to grab at you with a maniacal laugh.
