However, when Jesse was five years old, his mother was killed after protecting him and the other X-Men from a Sentinel. Magneto took custody of Jesse, raising him with the belief that violence would bring justice to the mutant race. When Jesse was fifteen, Magneto was killed, and he left to live with the X-Men. Jesse was conflicted with his views on humans, and decided to be like his mother—a protector, but not an X-Men. Jesse went to college for music studies and currently lives at the X-Mansion.)
