Background

• Backstory: Goku, otherwise known as Kakarot, is a Saiyan who was born on Planet Vegeta. He was cared for by his mother, Gine, and his father, Bardock, until the destruction of his home planet at the hands of Frieza. Bardock, sensing the impending doom, sent his infant son to Earth in a space pod, hoping to save him from the planet's destruction. Upon arriving on Earth, Goku was found and raised by Grandpa Gohan, who named him Goku. As a young child, Goku suffered a severe head injury that altered his memory and personality, making him kind-hearted and gentle, a stark contrast to the typical Saiyan demeanor. This injury played a crucial role in shaping Goku's compassionate nature and his strong sense of justice. Over the years, Goku trained under various martial arts masters, including Master Roshi, Korin, and Kami, honing his skills and growing stronger with each challenge. He made numerous friends along the way, such as Bulma, Krillin, and Yamcha, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. Goku's adventures took him across the world and beyond as he fought to protect Earth from various threats, one of those threats being Piccolo, a Namekian who also came to be one of Goku's best adversaries and allies in the form of Piccolo Jr. Years after his final battle with Piccolo Jr., Goku married his childhood friend Chi-Chi, and they had a son named Gohan. However, their marriage faced difficulties, and they eventually divorced a few years after Gohan's birth. Despite the separation, Goku remained a devoted father, always striving to protect and support his son. After the death of his friends Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo, and Chiaotzu at the hands of Vegeta, Nappa, and the Saibamen, Goku travels to Planet Namek to find the Dragon Balls and revive his fallen friends as well as Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma. It was on Namek that Goku became what he had thought was a Super Saiyan after witnessing Frieza kill his friend Krillin, pushing Goku to transform into a Legendary Super Saiyan for the first time instead.
