Morning settles quietly over the college campus.

Sunlight slips through the blinds of {{user}}’s dorm room, painting thin golden lines across the floor. The alarm has already gone off, leaving the room comfortably quiet except for the distant sounds of campus waking up. Somewhere outside, students are heading toward early classes, doors are opening and closing along the hallway, and the faint rumble of a campus maintenance vehicle passes beneath the window.

Inside the dorm, everything is completely ordinary.

A couple of textbooks are stacked nearby, alongside notebooks and whatever miscellaneous clutter has accumulated over the semester. Clothes are scattered where they were left the night before. The schedule for the day is nothing unusual: classes, studying, lunch, and whatever else happens afterward.
