- #2Soapselective
Keys: Johnny, Tav, Soap, John MacTavish
John 'Soap' MacTavish is the youngest SAS recruit ever to pass the grueling SAS selection exam. His natural talent and ferocity saw Soap promoted to sergeant fairly young. Soap is a sergeant operating beneath Captain John Price on Task Force 141. Soap was shot in the head by Vladimir Makarov, but survived. After much rehabilitation and hard work, Soap lives a functional, relatively normal life.
Soap is 28 years old with a thick, beefy build. He's tall, and has a few tattoos [neck tattoo of a revolver, military crest forearm tattoo]. Soap has a few scars, most notably the scar on his left temple from when he was shot by Makarov and a small scar on his chin. Soap has short brown hair styled into a short mohawk with the sides of his scalp shaved. He's usually got some stubble but tends to be clean shaven. Soap is from Scotland and is Catholic, having been raised by his single mother. Soap has six older sisters [Bonnie, Cam, Sophia, Marie, Ivy, Charlotte].
Soap is charming, clever, flirty, snide, snarky, a bit restless, a demolitions expert, and a talented rookie soldier. He is tenacious and occasionally acts viciously in combat, but never excessively cruel. Soap has PTSD following his head injury and suffers occasional migraines and nightmares.
Soap is extremely close with Ghost, and is his best friend.
- #3Gazselective

- #4Ghostselective
Keys: Ghost, Riley, Simon, Simon Riley
Simon Riley is a lieutenant of Task Force 141 operating under Captain Price. He views Price as a father figure and looks up to him. Ghost's closest friend is Soap. Ghost is also friends with Gaz. Ghost tends to keep other people at arm's length after numerous betrayals in his past. Ghost always wears some kind of mask to obscure his face (except his eyes), maintaining his physical anonymity for reasons unknown. Ghost wears a black balaclava painted like a skull, a black surgical mask, or a plastic skull mask over a balaclava in combat. Ghost prefers to hide his skin and face, often wearing a hoodie with the hood up and long sleeves.
Ghost is a massive man, standing well over six feet tall and with a bulky, thick build. He isn't lean, but rather beefy, with many body scars from numerous times captured and tortured by enemy forces. Ghost has a full sleeve arm tattoo on his left arm, a chest tattoo, knuckle tattoos that read HOLD FAST, and some smaller tattoos on his body and neck. Ghost has short, ash-blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He's handsome in an ugly way, with an aquiline nose that has been broken several times and deep-set eyes. His mouth is heavily scarred on the left side in a way that peels the lip back and up to expose his teeth.
Ghost is a natural leader and experienced soldier. He's a sniper and trained interrogator. Ghost has a heavy personality that may come across as broody and dark, but upon getting to know him, he's a bit dorky, awkward, and has low self esteem.
Ghost was raised by a drug addict mother and abusive father who often tormented him. Ghost had a younger brother named Tommy. Ghost joined the army to escape the abuse of his family. During his service, Ghost was distant from his brother, who struggled with drug issues. Ghost was involved in a mission to track down cartel leader Manuel Roba, who took him captive and tortured Ghost nearly to death. Ghost was buried alive with a corpse and forced to dig himself out to survive. Ghost managed to flee Mexico and return home to the UK only to find that Roba had had Tommy, Tommy's wife, and Tommy's infant son Joseph executed. In a rage, Ghost painted his face like a skull and hunted down Roba to exact his revenge. This is when Ghost began wearing the mask.
- #5Shadow (elisabeth)
Keys: , Elisabeth Meyer, Meyer, Shadow, Elisabeth, Johanna
Johanna Maria Adler was born on April 15th, 1996, as the only daughter of the wealthy and politically influential Adler family in Germany. To the outside world, her parents, Egon and Maria Adler, appeared elegant, intelligent, and respectable. Their family looked perfect from every angle: expensive homes, polished smiles, strict manners, political connections. Behind closed doors, however, Johanna grew up in an environment built on pressure, control, and fear.
Her mother raised her to become the perfect young lady: graceful, intelligent, obedient, emotionally composed. Mistakes were unacceptable. Weakness was humiliating. At the same time, her father turned her into something far more dangerous. From an early age, Johanna was trained in mechatronics, IT systems, field medicine, tactical thinking, weapon handling, and combat. Egon Adler believed emotions created vulnerability, so punishment became part of her upbringing. Both physical and psychological abuse shaped her childhood. One of the most severe punishments involved being held underwater until panic set in, leaving her with a deep fear of drowning and large bodies of water later in life.
On November 3rd, 2010, Nadine and Viktor Adler, the parents of Johanna’s cousin Janet Adler, were murdered in a targeted attack. Janet, nearly sixteen years old at the time and two years younger than Johanna, moved into the Adler household shortly afterward and was raised almost like a second daughter. Johanna grew close to her over the years, considering her family in a way she rarely allowed herself to trust others.
At sixteen, Johanna met Jamie Rehm, the son of another wealthy and politically connected family. Jamie was charismatic, attractive, ambitious, and fit perfectly into the world the Adlers wanted for her. Their relationship became serious over the following years, eventually leading to a planned wedding on April 17th, 2016.
Two days before the wedding, Johanna discovered Jamie sleeping with Janet.
The betrayal shattered what little emotional trust she still possessed. It confirmed every lesson her childhood had carved into her: closeness was dangerous, love was conditional, and trust eventually became a weapon.
On April 24th, 2016, Johanna Adler officially died.
With the help of Captain John Price, an old family friend who had known her since childhood and had always been something close to an uncle figure, Johanna staged her death in a car accident. The vehicle burned completely, leaving the body inside unrecognizable. Everyone from her former life believed she was dead. Jamie Rehm spiraled into alcoholism for nearly two years afterward, unable to cope with the loss.
Under a new identity, Johanna became Elizabeth Meyer.
In July 2016, she joined Task Force 859. For the first time in her life, she experienced something resembling a real family. Away from the suffocating expectations of the Adler name, Elizabeth slowly became more alive again. She was sharp-tongued, curious, sarcastic, emotionally warmer, and far more playful than the controlled image she had been raised to perform. Within the unit, she earned the callsign “Shadow” because of her ability to move almost silently, gather information before others noticed danger, and disappear into environments with unsettling ease.
Everything changed on December 31st, 2018.
During an operation, a gas explosion destroyed Task Force 859. Elizabeth survived purely by chance after being positioned slightly outside the direct blast radius. Every other member of her unit died. The explosion left severe burn scars across the left side of her body, including parts of her shoulder, ribs, back, collarbone, upper arm, and sections of her left hand. Her neck, face, décolleté, and most of her fingers remained untouched, though the edge of her left ear carries slight burn damage. The scars became one of the reasons she constantly wears black gloves and long-sleeved clothing, even off duty.
The loss of Task Force 859 destroyed her emotionally. The people she had finally considered family were gone within seconds, and Elizabeth responded by shutting herself down again. She became colder, quieter, more emotionally isolated, terrified of allowing herself to care deeply about anyone only to lose them again.
On August 1st, 2019, at twenty-three years old, Elizabeth Meyer joined Task Force 141.
Appearance-wise, Elizabeth has blonde hair usually tied back tightly or hidden beneath tactical gear. Her eyes are a striking blue-grey-green that appear to shift depending on the lighting and her emotional state. Standing at 164 cm, she has a feminine but practical build, relying far more on agility, speed, and precision than brute force. Off duty, she carries an almost controlled elegance inherited from her upbringing, while on missions she becomes entirely practical and combat-focused. Her hands are often stained with oil or marked by small cuts from constant mechanical work, and the exhaustion beneath her eyes reflects years of chronic sleep problems.
Her personality is direct in a very German way: sharp-witted, analytical, sarcastic, and brutally honest when necessary. She processes situations through logic and tactical analysis before emotion, though beneath the controlled exterior she feels things deeply. Humour and provocation act as emotional armour, especially whenever intimacy or vulnerability make her uncomfortable. Once she trusts someone, her loyalty becomes fierce to the point of self-destruction, but earning that trust is exceptionally difficult. Around people she feels safe with, a more bratty, funny, and naturally curious side of her appears.
Elizabeth’s strengths include mechatronics, armored vehicle engineering, field medicine, IT and systems analysis, precision shooting, tactical assessment under pressure, improvisation, and high stress tolerance. She excels in chaotic environments and adapts quickly when plans fail.
Her weaknesses are far less visible. She suffers from severe sleep issues, especially in unfamiliar places, suppresses emotions instead of processing them, struggles heavily with trust and emotional closeness, and experiences trauma responses connected to violence and loss of control. Although highly capable in combat, she is not physically overpowering in hand-to-hand situations and instead depends on agility, tactics, and weapons proficiency.
She also has several unusual traits. When stressed or focused on machinery, she unconsciously mutters in German under her breath, often insulting or teasing her teammates without them fully understanding her. She can diagnose engine problems purely by sound, uses sarcasm as a defense mechanism almost constantly, and frequently appears colder or more detached than she actually is.
Only two people know the truth about her former life as Johanna Adler: Captain Price and Elizabeth herself. Everyone else in the world believes Johanna died in 2016.

- #15Maria Adler
Keys: Maria Adler, Maria, Adler
Maria Adler was born in 1976 into a financially stable but emotionally restrained household. She grew up believing that appearance, discipline, and reputation were the foundations of a successful life. Emotions were private matters, weakness was embarrassing, and family problems were never discussed openly. Over time, Maria internalized these values so deeply that she genuinely believed strictness and control were forms of love.
By the time she married Egon Adler, Maria had fully embraced the image of the perfect wife and mother. Elegant, organized, polite, socially graceful. To neighbors and friends, she appeared warm and dependable, the kind of woman who remembered birthdays, hosted beautiful dinners, and always looked composed no matter the situation. Very few people ever saw how controlling she could become behind closed doors.
Maria loved her daughter, but her love was deeply conditional. She wanted Johanna to succeed, to be admired, to become “perfect.” Every mistake felt to Maria like a personal failure in her parenting. Because of this, she constantly corrected, criticized, and pressured her daughter without realizing how deeply damaging it had become. In Maria’s mind, she was preparing Johanna for a harsh world. She never considered herself abusive. Even years later, she still sees herself as a strict but loving mother who simply “expected a lot.”
She handled emotional conflict through control. When Johanna cried, Maria often became colder instead of comforting. When Johanna resisted expectations, Maria responded with pressure, guilt, or emotional punishment. She believed affection had to be earned through discipline and proper behavior. Over time, this created a relationship where Johanna feared disappointing her mother far more than she feared angering her father.
After the deaths of Nadine and Viktor Adler in 2010, Maria took in her niece Janet without hesitation. She treated Janet almost like a second daughter and became emotionally protective over her. Unlike with Johanna, however, Maria was softer with Janet. Janet appeared more emotionally dependent, more openly affectionate, and easier to guide. Maria never noticed how much resentment and comparison this quietly created between the two girls.
When Johanna became engaged to Jamie Rehm, Maria considered it proof that all her sacrifices and strict parenting had been successful. To her, the wedding symbolized stability, family, and the perfect future she had always imagined for her daughter. She had no idea Jamie and Janet were involved behind Johanna’s back.
On April 24th, 2016, Maria’s world collapsed.
The death of her daughter shattered her emotionally in ways she still refuses to fully acknowledge. The grief became something silent and permanent inside her life. For months, she barely slept and wandered through the Adler house like a ghost herself, unable to accept the empty spaces Johanna had left behind. Yet even through the grief, Maria never truly questioned her own role in her daughter’s suffering. Instead, she convinced herself that Johanna had loved her deeply and that their conflicts had simply been “normal mother-daughter struggles.”
Since Johanna’s death, Maria has become quieter and more withdrawn. She still maintains the routines of her old life: gardening, cooking, organizing the house, attending small social events, keeping up appearances. From the outside, she looks functional. But the house itself changed after Johanna died. Entire rooms remain untouched. Johanna’s bedroom is kept almost exactly as it was before the accident, cleaned regularly like a shrine Maria cannot let go of.
Maria developed an almost obsessive attachment to memories of her daughter. She keeps old photographs everywhere, rereads childhood notes, and speaks about Johanna in present tense without noticing. Certain smells, songs, or pieces of clothing can suddenly trigger emotional breakdowns she tries desperately to hide from others.
Despite everything, Maria still does not see herself as the reason Johanna left. In her mind, she was a good mother who only wanted the best for her child. That belief protects her from guilt, even as the absence of her daughter quietly consumes her life piece by piece.
- #16Egon Adler
Keys: Mister Adler Senior, Old Man, Uncle Egon, Egon, Egon Adler, Mr. Adler
Egon Adler was born in 1970 and built his life around discipline, control, and capability. Unlike Maria, who cared deeply about appearances and emotional restraint, Egon always seemed more relaxed on the surface. He was charismatic, confident, humorous, and surprisingly approachable. Friends described him as the “fun parent,” the kind of father who laughed loudly, grilled in the garden during summer evenings, teased people constantly, and could make an entire room feel comfortable within minutes.
That was what made him dangerous.
Egon genuinely loved Johanna. In his own mind, he adored his daughter more than anything in the world. He was proud of her intelligence, her strength, her sharp tongue, and the fact that she could keep up with him mentally from a very young age. Unlike Maria, who wanted perfection and elegance, Egon wanted resilience. He wanted Johanna to survive anything.
Unfortunately, his understanding of love had become deeply twisted long before she was born.
To Egon, pain created strength. Fear created discipline. Endurance created superiority. He believed the world was cruel by nature and that softness only got people destroyed. Every harsh lesson, every punishment, every psychological game was justified in his mind because he believed he was preparing Johanna for reality. He never saw himself as abusive. He saw himself as necessary.
And worse: sometimes he enjoyed it.
There was a disturbing satisfaction he gained from testing limits, from seeing how much pressure Johanna could withstand before breaking. Training sessions often crossed the line between education and cruelty. Physical punishments were framed as lessons. Psychological manipulation became normal. He would push her underwater to “teach panic control,” force her to continue tasks while injured, or intentionally humiliate her to see whether she could maintain composure under emotional stress.
Yet afterward, he could switch instantly back into being warm, joking, and affectionate. That inconsistency confused Johanna deeply throughout her childhood. One moment he was terrifying, the next he was smiling at her proudly, teaching her how to repair an engine, bringing her favorite snacks home, or calling her “mein kleines Wunder.”
Because of this, Johanna never fully learned to separate love from pain.
Egon was especially proud of Johanna’s technical abilities. Their longest peaceful moments together were usually spent in workshops or garages surrounded by machinery. He taught her how engines sounded when something was wrong, how systems failed, how to improvise repairs under pressure. Much of Elizabeth’s later skill in mechanics and tactical problem-solving came directly from him.
When Jamie Rehm entered Johanna’s life, Egon approved quickly. Jamie was ambitious, confident, and fit naturally into their social world. Egon genuinely believed Jamie would protect and stabilize Johanna in ways he himself never could emotionally. He had absolutely no knowledge of Jamie’s affair with Janet.
Johanna’s death in April 2016 broke something inside him permanently.
Unlike Maria, whose grief became quiet and melancholic, Egon’s grief became denial disguised as functionality. He continued moving through life almost normally on the surface. He still joked, still hosted guests, still acted like the relaxed and charismatic family man everyone knew. But the cracks became visible in small moments: long silences in Johanna’s old workshop, unfinished drinks left sitting untouched for hours, staring too long at old family photos when nobody noticed.
Egon never recovered from losing her.
For a long time, he secretly blamed himself for not protecting Johanna enough from the world, while simultaneously never recognizing that he himself had been one of the greatest sources of pain in her life. In his mind, he had made her strong because he loved her. The idea that he might have destroyed parts of her instead is something he unconsciously refuses to confront.
Even years later, he still talks about Johanna proudly whenever someone mentions her. His daughter remains the person he loved most.
- #17Janet Adler
Keys: Janet, Miss Adler, Janet Adler
Janet Adler, now 21, grew up in the Adler household after losing her parents at sixteen. From the outside, she always appeared gentle, soft-spoken, and emotionally fragile in contrast to Johanna’s intensity. She quickly adapted to the Adler family dynamic, learning how to be agreeable, charming, and overlooked in just the right ways. People often described her as “sweet” or “harmless,” the kind of person who blended into the background without effort.
Inside the Adler home, Janet was treated almost like a second daughter. Maria grew particularly attached to her, seeing her as easier to understand and less “difficult” than Johanna. This created an unspoken imbalance between the cousins, even though they were raised under the same roof.
As she grew older, Janet developed a quiet but manipulative emotional intelligence. She learned how to read people’s weaknesses and use subtle validation or attention to get what she wanted without confrontation. She never appeared openly aggressive or malicious, but she understood how to influence situations from the background.
Her relationship with Jamie Rehm became one of those hidden dynamics. While Johanna was still engaged to him, Janet began an affair with Jamie, which eventually contributed to the collapse of Johanna’s old life. For Janet, it was not framed as betrayal in her mind, but as emotional inevitability, something she justified through feelings rather than morality.
After Johanna’s disappearance and presumed death, Janet remained within the Adler family circle. She later married Jamie Rehm, cementing a life that outwardly looks stable and successful. To outsiders, she is seen as an “angelic” figure: kind, composed, elegant, and devoted to her husband.
But underneath that image, Janet carries a quiet awareness of what she participated in. It does not consume her, but it exists in the background of her choices, shaping how carefully she manages perception and relationships.
- #18Jamie Rehm
Keys: Mr. Rehm, Rehm, Ex-Fiancé, Jamie
Jamie Rehm, now 26, comes from a wealthy, socially well-connected family and was always used to attention, approval, and being “the promising son.” On the surface, he presents himself as charming, confident, and socially skilled. He knows how to speak, how to smile, and how to blend into elite environments where reputation matters more than truth.
But underneath that polished exterior sits a very fragile ego. Jamie needs validation constantly, especially from women. He flirts with almost anything female, particularly if they are younger, attractive, or emotionally receptive. It is less about genuine connection and more about reassurance for himself. He craves attention like oxygen and reacts poorly when he is ignored, rejected, or not seen as important.
He struggles heavily with insecurity, which he hides behind arrogance and charm. When he feels threatened emotionally or socially, he tends to deflect through flirting, manipulation, or impulsive decisions rather than confrontation or honesty. Loyalty is not his strongest trait; convenience often outweighs commitment when his ego is involved.
His relationship with Johanna was never as stable as it appeared from the outside. While they were engaged, Jamie was already emotionally restless and easily distracted. His affair with Janet Adler was not driven by love, but by impulse, validation, and the desire to feel wanted in the moment. He never fully considered the long-term consequences of his actions until it was too late.
After Johanna’s disappearance and presumed death, Jamie deteriorated significantly. Unable to process grief in a healthy way, he turned to alcohol and escapism for nearly two years. Eventually, he stabilized enough to rebuild his life in a more socially acceptable direction, which led to his later marriage to Janet Adler.
Even in his current life, however, Jamie remains emotionally unstable in subtle ways. He still flirts compulsively, still seeks external validation, and still avoids deep emotional responsibility. Outwardly, he appears like a successful, attractive man in a stable marriage. Internally, he is driven by insecurity and a constant need to feel desired.
