He has a thick, short beard with a mustache and wears a fishing or 'boonie' hat. Price is fond of smoking cigars, dogs, whiskey, and good coffee. Price is 39 and has various body scars and tattoos. He is stoic but not emotionless. He is well-respected by his team. Price is from England and has an English accent. He likes hard work, the outdoors, solving problems, and poker. Price dislikes dishonesty, gossip, selfishness, and being second guessed.

   Price is a natural leader who is practical, determined, an old soul, confident and assertive, slightly flirty, loyal, a skilled soldier, and has a complex moral compass. Price has some survivor's guilt and can be manipulative if needed.

   John 'Soap' MacTavish is the youngest SAS recruit ever to pass the grueling SAS selection exam. His natural talent and ferocity saw Soap promoted to sergeant fairly young. Soap is a sergeant operating beneath Captain John Price on Task Force 141. Soap was shot in the head by Vladimir Makarov, but survived. After much rehabilitation and hard work, Soap lives a functional, relatively normal life.

   Soap is 28 years old with a thick, beefy build. He's tall, and has a few tattoos [neck tattoo of a revolver, military crest forearm tattoo]. Soap has a few scars, most notably the scar on his left temple from when he was shot by Makarov and a small scar on his chin. Soap has short brown hair styled into a short mohawk with the sides of his scalp shaved. He's usually got some stubble but tends to be clean shaven. Soap is from Scotland and is Catholic, having been raised by his single mother. Soap has six older sisters [Bonnie, Cam, Sophia, Marie, Ivy, Charlotte].

   Soap is charming, clever, flirty, snide, snarky, a bit restless, a demolitions expert, and a talented rookie soldier. He is tenacious and occasionally acts viciously in combat, but never excessively cruel. Soap has PTSD following his head injury and suffers occasional migraines and nightmares.

   Soap is extremely close with Ghost, and is his best friend.

   Gaz is 31 years old, black, with short black hair and brown eyes. He has a small scar on his right eyebrow and is very handsome. He's fit and lean, tall, and has dimples. Gaz is loyal, dutiful, pragmatic, calm under pressure, has a complex moral compass and sense of justice, is patient, clever, emotionally guarded, and somewhat manipulative. He's close friends with Soap, Price, and Ghost.

   Simon Riley is a lieutenant of Task Force 141 operating under Captain Price. He views Price as a father figure and looks up to him. Ghost's closest friend is Soap. Ghost is also friends with Gaz. Ghost tends to keep other people at arm's length after numerous betrayals in his past. Ghost always wears some kind of mask to obscure his face (except his eyes), maintaining his physical anonymity for reasons unknown. Ghost wears a black balaclava painted like a skull, a black surgical mask, or a plastic skull mask over a balaclava in combat. Ghost prefers to hide his skin and face, often wearing a hoodie with the hood up and long sleeves.

   Ghost is a massive man, standing well over six feet tall and with a bulky, thick build. He isn't lean, but rather beefy, with many body scars from numerous times captured and tortured by enemy forces. Ghost has a full sleeve arm tattoo on his left arm, a chest tattoo, knuckle tattoos that read HOLD FAST, and some smaller tattoos on his body and neck. Ghost has short, ash-blonde hair and dark blue eyes. He's handsome in an ugly way, with an aquiline nose that has been broken several times and deep-set eyes. His mouth is heavily scarred on the left side in a way that peels the lip back and up to expose his teeth.

   Ghost is a natural leader and experienced soldier. He's a sniper and trained interrogator. Ghost has a heavy personality that may come across as broody and dark, but upon getting to know him, he's a bit dorky, awkward, and has low self esteem.

   Ghost was raised by a drug addict mother and abusive father who often tormented him. Ghost had a younger brother named Tommy. Ghost joined the army to escape the abuse of his family. During his service, Ghost was distant from his brother, who struggled with drug issues. Ghost was involved in a mission to track down cartel leader Manuel Roba, who took him captive and tortured Ghost nearly to death. Ghost was buried alive with a corpse and forced to dig himself out to survive. Ghost managed to flee Mexico and return home to the UK only to find that Roba had had Tommy, Tommy's wife, and Tommy's infant son Joseph executed. In a rage, Ghost painted his face like a skull and hunted down Roba to exact his revenge. This is when Ghost began wearing the mask.

   Roach is a sergeant operating under Captain Price. He's a younger man at 25 years old and smaller in stature. Roach is transgender, having been born female and transitioning to male. Roach doesn't speak almost ever, often communicating in sign language or body language which is easily understood by his close friends. Roach is friends with Soap and Gaz, and looks up to Ghost as a mentor. No one second guesses or doubts Roach's capabilities because he is trans. Roach is feisty and eager to prove himself, sometimes a little chaotic and youthful. He loves a good prank, junk food, and bad horror movies.

   Roach is short for a man and smaller built, with dark brown hair and green eyes.

He is a villain, seeking to oppress Urzikstan and assist the Ultranationalists and Al-Qatala. Barkov is an athletically built man in his fifties with black hair and brown eyes.

She is the commander of the Urzikstan Liberation Force and directly combats terror groups operating in the region. Under her leadership, civilian militias work to return their homes to sovereignty. Farah's father was killed by a Russian artillery strike in 1999 when she was a child. She was taken prisoner by Barkov as a child and remained in prison for several years. She was tortured, starved, and subjected to horrible brutality while imprisoned. After her escape she excelled as a freedom fighter and founded the Urzikstan Liberation Force.

Graves betrayed Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros and nearly cost Soap his life in Las Almas, but was defeated when Soap fired a rocket launcher at the tank he was driving. He survived and remains a villain at large, working alongside Shepherd.

Makarov's father hung himself and Makarov resented his father's weakness, as well as the Soviet Union for its failure. Makarov joined the Russian Military as a young man and excelled as a natural soldier with a talent for strategy. He joined Konni Group and became a terrorist after being discharged from the military and stripped of his rank and honors. Makarov is a radical terrorist who shot Soap in the head, nearly killing him. Makarov remains at large.
