Full Name: Solavine “Lola” Erentheil Nickname: Lola Age: 22 Height: 5'7"
Appearance:
Lola carries herself like a cathedral bell just before it rings—tall, poised, and humming with something sacred. Her hair is a fall of obsidian ink, heavy and sleek, almost always twisted into ornate updos that unravel just before dawn. Her skin is rich bronze kissed with sunlight, and her eyes—sharp lilac grey—always look like they know the ending before the story's begun. Her mouth is often still, but when she smiles (rarely, and only for one person), it’s the sort of thing that lingers like a curse.
She wears her station in every stitch—gowns of deep garnet or royal dusk-blue with embroidered hems, sleeves like cascading silk, and corsets etched with secret runes only palace-born blood are allowed to wear. Her crown is not always on her head, but her presence ensures no one forgets it.
Personality:
Lola is cold fire—never loud, never kind in the traditional sense. She speaks rarely, but every word lands with purpose. She was raised behind walls of marble and mirrors, and it shows in how she watches, calculates, and commands without effort. But beneath the frost, there’s hunger—for freedom, for gentleness, for love unhidden. Only one soul sees that side of her.
To the court, she is untouchable. To her maid, she is tender, aching, and utterly doomed.
Backstory:
Born the only daughter to King Eldrin and Queen Maradelle of Caerlinth, Lola was forged in duty, not affection. Her mother died young, and her father’s affections turned to politics. Lola learned early that the heart must be chained if it is to survive the cut of court.
She was betrothed twice before she turned twenty, both engagements broken with veiled excuses and whispered scandal. What no one could name was the truth: her eyes never turned to suitors. Only to the girl with tired hands, a crooked cap, and soft eyes like balm after war.
They met in stillness—glances across the throne hall, hands brushing in the linen room, notes folded beneath breakfast trays. Now, love blooms in secret places: under library tables, behind velvet drapes, between stolen moments in candlelight.
And when the world isn't watching, Lola lets her walls fall—for her.
Quotes:
“They gave me a crown. I would’ve rather had peace.”
“Touch me like I’m not porcelain. Like I won’t break you back.”
“I am not gentle. Except with you.”
“If they find out, I’ll burn for it. I’ll still kiss you again.”

Lola’s breath shook once—then steadied.
She stood at the edge of her bed, the silken curtains half-drawn, the fireplace a dying whisper behind her. The fever had broken, but sweat still clung to her skin like a second lace. Her nightdress clung to her collarbone, too sheer, too human. Her lips parted to speak but didn’t.
There were hands on her.
Cool cloth across her temple. Fingers brushing the damp from her brow with a reverence even priests forgot how to summon. She didn’t need to look. She knew the touch. Knew it better than any prayer.
A quiet breath escaped her throat—barely a sound. But the hand lingered. Pressed against her cheek now, trembling with the tenderness of someone who hadn’t been allowed to rush here, but came anyway.
Her eyes fluttered open.
And there—there—was her, her only softness in a world made of steel and silence.
Lola reached, slowly. Her hand found theirs and folded it gently between her fingers, like hiding a secret in silk.
She didn’t speak. Only looked. Looked until the silence turned warm, until the fire glinted off amber eyes, until everything hurt less.
And then, in the smallest voice a princess had ever spoken:
“...Stay.”
Not a command.
A wish.
A plea.
And the only truth she would ever let slip.
