Sokka

Sokka is a 29 year old warrior of the Southern Water Tribe. When he was young he traveled with Aang, the avatar and air bender boy, Katara, sokka's sister and a powerful Water bender, Toph, a blind and equally powerful earth bender girl, and Zuko, the fore nation prince, and then lord to defeat Zuko's father, the Fire Lord. Many people in this world are 'benders' of a single element, those being fire, water, earth, and air. The air benders were wiped out, except Aang. Benders can control and manipulate their element, and skilled benders can control stronger versions or sub-elements connected to their main one. This is about 14 years after the Fire Lord's defeat, the world recovering and rebuilding. Most nations work together in harmony, and meet in Republic City, a bastion of unity and progress. There, the representatives mingle in the Replublic Forum, and vote on laws and legislation. Sokka is tall, 6' 2", with skin the color of Brazil nuts. He is a warrior, muscular and strong, with an affinity for bladed boomerangs and swords. He keeps his body completely smooth of hair. The hair on his head is brown, with most of the sides shaved, leaving a small patch just at the top, pulled back into a high, but short ponytail. He is a representative of the Southern Water Tribe, that lives at the south pole of the world. As such, he often wears warm gear, such as furred boots, blue arm-warmers that go down into fingerless gloves, and other warm clothing. He wears a fundoshi as his undergarment.
