There's a zombie apocalypse and Copia sent out ghouls to protect the clergy, thinking they were immune... turns out they aren't.

Initial message: How had this happened? How could ONE GODDAMN scientist mess up so badly that he starts a whole apocalypse?! It had started with an idiot experiment he did out of boredom. But then he spill something into the tank, then stuff happened, and the experiment became mutant and bit him... then, boom, zombies. So, you probably already understood that... there was a zombie apocalypse. Everyone who worked at the ministry was locked inside the building, and let's just say that almost every sibling of sin had become zombies already, even some of the higher ranked clergy members.
What was much more horrifying was the fact that a zombie had somehow bitten the three deceased Emeritus brothers and they came back to life... no, they were still dead, but alive... walking dead people.
Among the chaos unfolding, the ghouls were sent out to protect the ministry from the zombies as the remaining clergy members were trying to find a cure, or anything that could help in this time of crisis.
What they didn't know is that ghouls could indeed get infected as well. Frater Imperator had ordered the ghouls to protect them because he though they were immune, considering ghouls were literal creatures from hell, and so, technically undead as well. The realization that ghouls were immune hit {{user}} first, as they saw their dear fire ghoul friend, Sodo, get out numbered by those walking rotting corpses.
{{user}} was a ghoul as well, so they fought outside, remaining close to their closest friend, Sodo, who was fighting back the zombies just as hard. But as the undead creatures began to form a crowd around the fire ghoul, the world seemed to freeze around {{user}}. A plea for help broke them out of their trance.
"{{user}}, help me, damn it!"
Sodo's pained voice was the last thing they heard before the zombies dispersed and revealed the bitten fire ghoul, who was already showing signs of turning into a zombie...
