   Paper School is the main setting of Fundamental Paper Education. The school is made of paper with a black-and-white aesthetic, though certain areas (like ∆lice's room) become fully colored. It has multiple classrooms: Miss Circle's Math room, Miss Thavel's Language room, Miss Bloomie's Science room, Miss Sasha's Art room, and Miss Emily's History room. Other facilities include a large library with a deep pit, a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, Miss Ashachu's Cafe, Mister S.B.B.M's Convenience Store, and an infirmary run by Miss Elbara. The school is well-funded and massive in size. Teachers are known to kill students who fail their classes, though Miss Elbara can revive them for a higher salary. And many others!

2. #2∆lice's Room

   ∆lice's Room is located at the end of a hallway near the school exit. The door is dark periwinkle with scratches, slashes, and a "Do not Open" message with a smiley face. A ripped paper sign reads "Alice's room." The hallway leading to it is covered in scattered books, scratches, triangles with lines, stars, and engraved eyes. The words "Alice are Here" with an arrow point to the door. Inside is a black void with a red glow on the floor. Entering this room transforms a person from paper aesthetic to full color. Teachers strictly forbid entry due to ∆lice's murderous nature.

3. #3HanseΓ's Room

   HanseΓ's Room is a remote room far from classrooms and hallway lights. It is a dangerous location where the demon HanseΓ resides. Those who enter become his next meal. The room is normally white in color, unlike ∆lice's void-like space. It only turns black when HanseΓ feels threatened or is about to attack someone. Students and teachers alike fear entering this room, as it is considered extremely dangerous.

   Paperville is a massive city and continent, comparable to New York City and Tokyo combined but less crowded. It covers 30 million square kilometers with a population of 1 billion. The city has a semi-used color scheme of white, black, and pale colors. Most residents live in apartments rather than houses to save space and cost. Paper High School (the Paper School) is located here and is very well-funded, serving as one of Paperville's landmarks. The city was built on top of the former area known as The Paper Reign. Crime rates are somewhat high, but the city remains diverse and welcoming.

5. #5Ghost Town

   The Ghost Town is located not far from Paper School. It is an abandoned, empty town where visitors feel nothing but emptiness. The School Occult Club frequently visits this town for their tours. Only one person lives in the Ghost Town — a woman named Ĥazel, who is unafraid of the horrors the town holds. She resides there alone, making her a mysterious figure among those who know of the town.

6. #6Colorful Forest

   The Colorful Forest is a vibrant, lively place full of color and life. It features farms, barns, houses, and Anova's greenhouse. Residents include Claire, Engel, Biscuit, Anova, Daniel, Sofia, MoeMoe, Oliver, Katie, Connor, Δlice, Bunny, and Lu-me-ii. None of the residents (except Claire and Engel) study at Paper School. Fen hunts in this forest. The Barn, Xister's Church, and Anova's Greenhouse are all located within or near the Colorful Forest. It is a peaceful, welcoming area compared to the dangers of Paper School.

7. #7Barn

   The Barn is located in the Colorful Forest. It features a white fence, a white windmill, a small pond, and grazing sheep and ducks. It is a peaceful, idyllic place to live. Near the Barn are Anova's Greenhouse and the houses of the local residents. ∆lice has likely visited this area in the past with Claire, Biscuit, Daniel, Anova, and MoeMoe, though she never speaks about that past friendship anymore.

8. #8Xister's Church

   Xister's Church is located in another part of the Colorful Forest. A set of stairs leads up to Xister's room, where she lives with Eddie the cat. Fen frequently visits Xister at the church, showcasing their close relationship despite Fen's violent nature toward others. The church has a religious aesthetic, matching Xister's devout personality and attire. It serves as a quiet, spiritual refuge within the Colorful Forest.

   The Snowy Forest is a vast forest where it never stops snowing. It is home to the Nameless Werewolf, who hunts in these woods. Fen also hunts here alongside the werewolf. ∆iden, a cold-hearted hunter, stalks this forest as well, and her cabin is located somewhere within the trees. The forest is perpetually frozen, dangerous, and home to predators who show no mercy to those who wander too deep.

    ∆iden's Cabin is located deep within the Snowy Forest. It serves as the hunting ground and personal residence of ∆iden, a cold and silent killer. Here, ∆iden tortures victims to death using various weapons, showing no emotion or remorse. Her pet dog lives with her in the cabin, seemingly unbothered by its owner's violent activities. The cabin is isolated, surrounded by snow-covered trees, and those who stumble upon it rarely leave alive.

11. #11Machine Girl

    Machine Girl is a party establishment and restaurant that features stage shows and entertainment. It is home to Vivian, Crazie, Skary, Miller, Agetha, and Baphomet (who works as a waiter). The venue hosts performances and events, making it a lively, chaotic place. Vivian performs magic shows, Crazie is a curious but violent presence, and the others add to the unpredictable atmosphere. It is one of the key locations outside Paper School.

    The Hospital is located in Paperville, near Paper School. It is where Count Nihil works as a therapist and medical professional. Nihil, a former Count who abandoned his mansion to open a psychiatric hospital, helps people suffering from trauma and mental illness. Despite his kind and caring nature, he has an ominous aura that makes him difficult to approach. The hospital serves as a place of healing for those injured or traumatized by the dangers of Paper School and beyond.

    Hotchkiss House is a large mansion where Markia Hotchkiss and Simon Hotchkiss live. Marshall Hotchkiss (Mister Hotchkiss) used to live here before moving out. The household has a complicated dynamic: Simon is supportive of Marshall's choices, while Markia is unsupportive — she called Daniel a "freak" when Marshall first introduced him and was dismissive when Marshall revealed his relationship with another man. The mansion is grand but carries tension beneath its elegant surface.

Elenoa, a dancer, is his loving partner, described as kind, maternal, and having "dirtier thoughts" while BELI∀L remains sweet and innocent.     Mister Bane — Vice Principal of Paper School. He has black skin, white eyes with additional red eyes around his wings, white hair with red strand, red halo, black tie, long black skirt, and two medium black wings. He is busy and hardworking, doesn't care how students treat him, but becomes happy if someone says hi. He is called "Angel" by Miss Grace.

    Mister Compass — Miss Circle's compass/weapon, 9' tall. He has shoulder-length black hair, black horns, cyan scleras with slit pupils, black button-up shirt with white collar, white pants. He can transform into a supersized mathematical compass used for teaching or killing. He is as cruel as Miss Circle, helps murder failing students, and sometimes argues with her about snacks (he prefers KitKats). Loyal to Miss Circle — they are always together.

    Wendigo Form — When transformed, her letter blocks are replaced with wendigo antlers, she gains a deer-like tail, and her attire becomes more tattered and ripped. Her arms and legs gain furry texture.

    She appears like a regular teacher but is cruel and sadistic behind her demeanor, killing students who fail her class. Every student fears her. She sometimes prefers to be alone for unknown reasons. Kind to those with good grades.

    Mister T.R.O.N — Robotics teacher. A being made of sky blue slime floating above ground, wearing an astronaut helmet with "T.R.O.N" under visor, black cat ears with antenna, mechanical arms (one with hand, one with drill). Caring and helpful to students.

    Mister Shapley — Mysterious teacher, 9'6" tall (varies). Has five variations: default (black figure with detached joints, red tie, robe, translator), winged cosmic form (white feathered wings with galaxy patterns), monitor model (old TV head with smiley face), ghostly model (rubber hose style white ghost), red suit model (tall black silhouette with scribbled face), canine model (white wolf-like). Has god complex, sees himself above organic life. Eats universes. Becomes silly after eating large universes, causing voices students hear.

Calm and composed, kind to younger students, but has no tolerance for noise or rudeness. Will kill those who disturb library peace. G.S. Broomire has a secret crush on her.

    Miss Elbara — Nurse. She has paper-white skin, green nurse outfit, surgical mask and cap with black horn-like points, red eyes with magnifying red lens on right eye, four long braids ending in green syringes, legs tapering to points. Caring and careful, excited about reviving dead students for higher pay. Always helps injured or sick patients.

    Mister Enterprise — Bus driver. He has black skin with yellow eyes and mouth, big white mustache, long white hair with black horns, white and blue hat with maple leaf, white collared shirt with star, blue coat, wings on back. Drives a yellow bus with "this is a rocket!" on side. Hyperactive, shouts space references, acts like bus is a spaceship. Annoying to students.

    Miller — Aggressive. Long black hair, covered in scars. Yells at Skary, hits him with spiked bat. Has transformed form with multiple eyes

    Agetha — Digital entity living in computer. Most powerful character (21 abilities). Defeated ∆lice with no injuries. Observant, watches from hiding. Kind but violent.

    Baphomet — Black goat. Works as waiter. Calm, collected.

    Mister Hound — Scavenger janitor. Cannot truly die — respawns from surrounding shadows/darkness. As long as darkness exists nearby, he returns.

    Lord HanseΓ — Immortality Types 2 and 3. Does not age naturally. Returns after death as long as core essence not destroyed.

    The Craftsman — Pottery Instructor. Motherly toward Scizz. Banished him when Eclipse was harmed.

    Armitage Arcnea — Leader of Mafia Group. Four arms, spider-like features. Long white hair, spider leg horns, white top hat, four arms with black claws. Cruel, enjoys tormenting Daniel/Mister Barrel. Tortures for fun. Behind cruelty: true friend — pushes friends out of danger at own expense.

    Bullseye Foxtrot — Sniper for Mafia Group. Fox-type. Black hair, black fox ears, "Nice Shot" hat, target sticky note over right eye, spiral pupil left eye, sniper rifle. Participated in bullying young Daniel. Swore never to bully again after being injured protecting Benedict.

    Katie is a student at Paper School and Oliver's parent. She has ankle-length white hair tied into a bottom ponytail with a black bow and a large split ahoge atop her head. She wears a black headband with two small horns, a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and bottom along with a rhombus with a slash in the center, white knee-high socks, black boots, deep teal jean shorts, and a black band on her right arm. A bandage is on her left knee. She has sharp eyelashes and a defined chest, and her teeth are sharper than normal. Katie is mischievous, playful, friendly, and a little dangerous. She sometimes enjoys watching bullying, especially seeing her son Oliver do it, but most of the time she breaks up fights and playfully scolds him..

    Claire is a student at Paper School. She has a simple blunt bob cut hairstyle with a bow atop her head. Claire is known for being a hard-working student who focuses on her studies. She has a calm demeanor but can get annoyed easily by Zip, Edward, and Oliver's antics. She is 4 feet 2 inches tall. Bubble is empathetic and kind. She is one of Claire and Engel's friends and cares about others' feelings and injuries.

She wears a grey collared T-shirt with a long-sleeved black shirt underneath, dark-grey pants with black hems and stitches around her knee and hip dips, and black shoes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall. Lana is implied to not be the smartest and has a hard time understanding material. Despite her struggles, she enjoys learning at Paper School with her classmates, especially Abbie, who like her has trouble with academics. She survived and continues attending school.
