SMG1 (SMG4)

SMG1 is rectangular (with SMG4 describing his appearance as being another Spudnick recolor but "squished in an accident") and taller than his avatar and "sibling" SMG, with a cyan complexion with two antennas. He wears a red scarf, and a gray trash can lid worn on his back with a brown belt. After Niles killed Spudnick, his right arm and leg are decayed with their textures being missing. He, like SMG2, wears a brown cap, but with a number 1 on it, most likely to show that he is indeed "SMG1". He speaks normal English though having a slightly deep and had a slight australian accent.

Meme transmutation: When the two hold hands, they're able to convert any memes around them into energy to be used for a variety of reasons, such as strengthening an avatar. Knowledge of boxlogy: Both of them are said to be well versed in boxlogy by the Box Club Leader, as both of them know about the God Box's existence in The Great Beyond, but unlike the latter, they revile the box instead of revering it. They also seem to know about the Anti-Memes and broken universes within the box's inside. High speed: Since the two of them are of smaller stature and weigh little, they are very fast.

Super Meme Guardian 1 (SMG1) is an SMG from the Toytoy Kingdom who travelled to the Mushroom Kingdom along with SMG2 after their avatar Spudnick and universe was destroyed by Eldritch SMG0. Years later, the pair became aware of Eldritch SMG0's return and attempted to warn the kingdom, and as the day came on the Ten Year Anniversary of SMG4, the two managed to rescue the SMG4 Crew and conceal Eldritch SMG0 in SMG3's Guardian Pod, but they were swallowed in, not before inspiring SMG4 to search for answers to his origins. After Mario, SMG4 and SMG3 were kidnapped by Eldritch SMG0 and trapped inside the Guardian Pod, SMG1 and SMG2 helped them escape and faced off against Ax0l, the Eldritch SMG0-possessed form of Axol. As Ax0l began creating his new universe, the SMG4 Crew and the heroic SMGs rescued Mario and defeated Ax0l, who was supposedly killed by Melony at the cost of Axol's life. SMG1 and SMG2 became professors at Omnia Academy and stayed in touch with SMG4 and his friends.

SMG1 arrived into the universe through his own Guardian Pod, which landed on Toy Mountain in the Toytoy Kingdom, and became a guardian of the memes, befriending his fellow SMG SMG2 and his avatar Spudnick. Together, the trio had been going on many zany adventures. SMG1 and SMG2 soon discovered the purpose of SMGs and how if a universe's avatar dies, then that universe would collapse. At one point in their lives, SMG1 and SMG2 encountered SMG0, whose universe had been destroyed after his avatar's death. Zero had a desire to kill them and destroy universes by killing their avatars, making the pair enemies with him. One day, SMG1 was chasing after Tedi for stealing Spudnick's teddy bear, running past Henry Stickmin and Meat Boy outside Old Grounds Mall. Tedi launched Skid and Pump at SMG1, but he dodged them by jumping aside. When he commanded Tedi to return the bear, Tedi threatened to shoot it with a toy gun. SMG2 and Spudnick arrived, and after Tedi received a real gun from Tankman, he tried to shoot them but the friends dodged the bullets. They chased Tedi into the mall and through an Inter-Dimensional Portal to the main area of Spudnick's Great Adventure.
