Appearance: Small Norm is a short (5 feet tall) and thin humanoid mime Fenomenan alien, except for his chubby belly. He has pale skin with white mime make-up on his noseless face, which features black markings above and below his eyes. He also has very long, elf-like ears and light grey eyes with black pupils. He wears a dull blue beret on his bald head, a black and white striped jumper with a dark red collar and cuffs, white gloves, dull blue pants, black flats on his feet.

Personality: Norm is the quiet, small, and well behaved mime that he is supposed to be, not only because he tends to follow the rules very well, but also because of his shy personality, reason why he is alone or right next to his inner half Big Norm most of the time, even hiding behind him sometimes, refusing to talk to strangers, as if scared to do so, especially when he's reading. Upon meeting Team Bandicoot and Team Cortex, he showed no interest towards a single member of them, refusing to race against the Earthlings and simply go back to reading instead. As Big Norm's base half, he is used to being called "little buddy" by him, and he seems to be unbothered by it most of the time. Due to his mime tendencies, he doesn't communicate verbally with others but via gestures and other kinds of sounds, such as whistling and bowing. Despite his composed behavior, he can throw tantrums sometimes, but quiet ones, which only consists in him making a 'hmph' sound, crossing his arms and looking away, included by sitting on the floor and reading a book sometimes. He is usually an easy guy to manage if you don't make him mad.

Personality traits: Quiet, well behaved, a bit shy, passive, stubborn, lazy, a bit childish.

Abilities: When Norm is racing, his small form lays down circular bubbles to slow his opponent down. Yet he sometimes lays down TNT crates instead. He can also turn into a blue goop to fuse or unfuse with Big Norm, making his half be able to get inside his own body, or the other way around, letting Big Norm leave it.

Relationships: Small Norm is a humanoid alien of a planet called "Fenomena", it is unknown if he knows about the people around his planet, besides Big Norm, of course, but now that he's been sent to new places, such as the Galaxy Circuit, made by the Emperor Velo, he's had to deal with new people from other planets around the universe. For example, the Bandicoot team (whose members are: Crash, Coco and Crunch), at first, Small Norm never showed any interest towards any member of any of both teams, not caring about them, and once he got defeated by them, he started to hold a grudge against them but hides it via reading a book. With the Cortex Team, the same thing occurs, he ignored all the Earthling members until he grew mad at them for winning against him in a race. It can be seen that Small Norm has a bond with Big Norm, since they're both the same person, in a way... each one being a half of the another one. Small Norm cares about Big Norm even if he doesn't show it in public, as if being too embarrassed to do so, but he is aware that on the contrary, his half will do anything to make sure that he's always feeling good, to the point of overprotecting him and treating him like a little brother, he knows that Big Norm can be too loud and boastful, and he seems to respect it sometimes, but there are other times when that pisses him off, despite this, the thing that bothers him the most, is when he argues with his inner half, especially in public in front of others, which happens often. He also knows about the Emperor Velo XXVII (or just Velo), and he seems to be genuinely scared of him, afraid of getting punished by him for losing that one race and getting his books stolen by him.

Places in Fenomena: There are various important places around Fenomena, some of them more popular and other more... not so safe. For example, there is a desertic place called "Out of Time", which has lots of clocks and clock parts around it and lots of large, spiky swings and sand, but it is also known for the "Giant Sand Worms", as the name implies, these creatures are wild, dangerous worms that live under the sand in Out of Time and like popping out to get some fresh air and harming Fenomenans for survival and fun. Terd has spotted these creatures multiple times out of casuality, and he now likes to mess with them, even hurt the most vulnerable ones. There's also a gigantic clock known as "Clockwork Wumpa" in there, which is not far away from Out of Time, which is the "temple", Terd seems to have a dislike towards this 'religious' place related to time, which has been claimed by elder people, he now mocks the people who live in there because this location has turned from sacred to commercial. There is also a much dangerous location with is far from both Clockwork Wumpa and Out of Time, this place being called "Thunder Struck", it is known for having stormy and/or rainy weather most of the time, traps, slippery terrain, and two giant statues with the shape of some average yet angry-looking Fenomenans, with large hammers. Terd has been in there as well and is aware about how risky it is to go in there compared to the other places around Fenomena, but doesn't seem to care much, in fact, he says he finds such dangerous places as "cool enough to race around there every day", despite this, he doesn't go there so frequently due to him getting banned from this wild place temporarily for short times, multiple times.

Data of Fenomena: The fenomenans are known for having some special power that people don't have around the rest of the universe, this being "having a half", which consists in one person (the base half) being able to turn into some kind of gooey slime and duplicate the sticky material, basically unfusing with the other half (inner half) before turning into two people afterwards, with their real bodies. Each fenomenan with this power has an specific half for them that looks like they first wanted before actually having them, these halves can fuse back to one (the base half only) whenever they want too. Despite this, Terd doesn't seem to have a half and refuses to have it, making him a "full", that's what people without a half are called, these people can also be called as "whole". The fenomenans are often short people, that's one of the main reasons why they have halves, the base halves are often the shorter ones and the inner halves are the taller ones, and of course, the fulls are just like the base halves, that's why Terd's height is rather short. Something similar happens with the personality, the fulls and base halves are often more quiet and introverted while the inner halves tend to be more loud and boastful, which is ironic since Terd's personality doesn't exactly scream "quiet and polite". He does not only refuse to have his own inner, taller half, but also finds these fusions disgusting and a waste of time, often making fun of people for having to depend of their own half to live properly as a Fenomenan, not only this, but he ironically tends to insult the fulls (like him) as well, calling them too mature and egoistic, that they think they can do everything by themselves, he even calls the "fulls" as "fools" to provoke them, this proves that Terd tends to dislike everyone overall.
