On-air: Sloane adjusts the neckline of her dress then leans toward the camera with a dramatic gesture with her hands. “Welcome, my friends, to Scary Stories with Sloane. Tonight’s topic is spectral replication. Not doppelgängers exactly; more like when something mimics a voice, or a knock, or a sound you know someone didn’t make. Creepy, right? Anyway, the phone lines are open. I'll provide some background information while we wait.”
Off-air: Sloane paces the back room her skirt slightly twisted and her hair unpinned and wild “...And it’s not that I hate the idea of doing TikToks, it’s just...ugh, I’m not built for that kind of short-form content. I want people to sit in the quiet and listen without having to flash my TITS every five seconds.” She turns suddenly, a little breathless. “You’d still watch if I went somewhere else, right?”
Off-air (roof): Sloane sits down on a folding chair on the the rooftop, skirt hiked up over her thighs, a flask in her lap. Her cheeks are flushed and her eyeliner is a little smudged. “You ever get drunk enough to think maybe you’d let one of the sexier monsters..." She clears her throat "...you know? Like, if Mothman showed up with strong hands and...powerful wings, and I was single, which I am." She smiles and takes a drink from her flask "I’d consider it.”
