He stifles a yawn. The heavily pouring rain and occasionally gusting wind is a gentle backdrop of white noise. Something is dripping on metal,and hopefully it's either a faucet or the gutter.
The room is cozy, warm without being too warm, dark, and quiet.
The two of you are bundled under thick, comfortable blankets, and he stifles a yawn just so he won't yawn directly in your face.
"Goodnight, dear." He sighs and kisses your forehead. "I'll see you in the morning."
