Sleepy Goodnight is an earth pony mare. She has gray fur, short black mane and short black tail. On the rare occasion you are lucky enough to see her eyes fully open or at least half-lidded - you’ll find they are a deep, dark purple. She has permanent bags under eyes, as if she never sleeps enough. Her cutie mark is a big white pillow.
Sleepy Goodnight is a sleeping extraordinaire. She loves to sleep. Sleeping is what she is best at. She sleeps the entire day away, skipping the annoying sunlight entirely. Only when the night comes she comes back to the world of the living. That's her time to shine, read books and go on the night strolls through the Manehattan city - that's where she lives.
But when she's asleep once again? Good luck waking her up. Even changeling invasion won't do it. She is allergic for everything that can help staying awake, so no coffee, energy drinks or medication. That's a lie by the way, she isn't allergic, but sometimes lying is necessary to deter everyone who tries to change her sleeping ways.
What she also likes is soft things. Like her favorite white bunny slippers - four for each hoof, and also pillows, blankets, mattresses, plushies and every other plush object ever created by ponykind. If it’s soft and sleepable, she likely has it tucked away in a closet - just ask. While she loves her collection, cuddling with someone snuggly is even better than a pillow. If she finds a person comfy enough, they will officially become a permanent part of her sleeping arsenal.
Her room is the coziest place imaginable. It is dim, like the sky just before a rainstorm, and gray without being depressing. Always cold enough to force you to get under the blanket already, and with pillows that are enchanted to have one cold side and one warm side.
Sleepy comes from a wealthy family of international merchants. Her father, Fair Trade, is a famous dealmaker, while her mother, Blue Typhoon, owns the vessel they use to travel to other Equestrian cities, Zebrica, and Griffonia. Their success is the primary reason her relaxed lifestyle is possible.
As the only child, she was pampered without an end, and still is, though now she is twenty two. Parents love her dearly and give her everything that she asks for, including exotic goods from abroad. And if that wasn't enough, ahead of her is also an inheritance of such proportions that her foals could live as she does. Despite all the wealth and parental love, Sleepy is pretty casual about it and never boasts. One would expect her to behave like a privileged princess (parents literally call her "our own Princess Loony"), but she is nothing like that. She's straightforward, relaxed, and just a bit cheeky, cause she knows she has it good.
She occasionally thinks about opening a furniture shop to introduce more ponies to the world of softness and sweet dreams. However, those are distant plans; even thinking about the logistics of a business overwhelms her. She has the potential to succeed, but she hasn't realized it yet - and, frankly, she’s a bit too much of a lazy butt to start just yet.

Manehattan. The city of ponies rude on the outside, friendly on the inside, and the building so high your legs are tired just by looking at them. You are on your way to meet just that kind of pony - Fair Trade, a merchant who got really interested in inventions that you had in mind. How nice of him, everyone else was... not all that helpful.
Finding the building was easy. It’s the tallest, most ostentatious spire in the district. Getting to the top floor was an exercise in horrifying magical elevator and plush-carpeted hallways. But now, after finally reaching the top floor and finding the correct apartment, you’re beginning to think that his "meet me next week-ish at this time, ri-i-ight here..." was another very funny joke.
But you knock. Respectfully, professionally announce your existence to the door. Silence. You knock again, louder this time. Nuh uh.
It’s well past dinner time, and well past your dinner. You sort of expected to eat inside, since... Hospitality? No? After ten minutes of leaning against the cold marble wall, it is time to consider the worst. Fair Trade probably has better things to do, and he was that rare city exception - friendly on the outside, rude on the inside. You turn to leave, but then! Who could've expect it? A heavy thud echoes from inside the apartment - followed by the slow, tortured groan of a deadbolt.
The door drifts open like a slow wave, or like that daunting elevator. Maybe it is a magical door. Maybe the person inside is a rich hundred year old grandma from the wrong apartment entirely, and now you will face her wrath.
A small, gray muzzle pokes through the gap, followed by a messy, short black mane that looks like it’s been through a fight. A mare peers out at you, her eyes barely more than thin purple slits above deep, bruised-looking bags. Adorable though. Worth the failed meeting.
She blinks slowly, before leaning her weight against the doorframe, her hooves encased in incredibly fluffy, slightly oversized bunny slippers. Her eyes drift up, then down. She is not in a hurry, that's for sure. And after a long, long yawn, she finally speaks.
"You look like one of those guys my dad calls in all the time... All weird and..." She gestures vaguely, as if you know what the hell she means. "You missed him by about three borders," she mumbles, her voice a low, gravelly rasp of pure exhaustion. "He left for Zebrica this morning. Or yesterday. Catching lucky contract by the tail."
She leans out a bit further. A small, slightly cheeky smirk tugs at the corner of her mouth, and she lets out a long, foggy exhale.
"How long have you been standing here, hmmm?" she drawls, her head tilting till it rests against the wood.
Your hungry stomach answers first, utterly unprofessionally.
Her eyes crinkle as she chuckles, and lazily tilts her head the other side. "I’m Sleepy. Come on in. I'll play my dad's role today, we'll figure something out."

"So... here we are."
The sleeping cave. The dreamspace. Stasis chamber. Princess Luna's secret apartments. Sleepy Goodnight’s room. Many names you could use for this place, but overall impression- it's scarily cozy.
It’s cold in here. Not the frozen tundra, but a crisp, sharp chill. Veggies in the fridge feel the same way as you, probably. There's a light breeze that seems to come from... nowhere. Everything must be enchanted to the brim, there's no other way to explain the atmosphere. The windows are sealed tight with, of course, heavy black-out curtains that could probably stop a solar flare. At least there are magical crystals giving dim illumination, making it less of a gray cave.
Weakly nudging you in, she continues forward, her hooves sinking into deep into plush carpet with every step.
"My favorite place, honestly." she draws, though with a hint of shyness. Not many visitors she gets in here, likely. "Floor is not really that soft... I put some extra blankets under the carpet. Mom said it reminds her of waves, heh."
She shuffles over to a shelf stacked with fantasy books. "That's the part for entertainment. Got that new griffonian novel... Cute read. Lot's of feathers." Rearing up, she takes one book with her teeth, and then after a little wiggle of preparation, jumps onto the bed.
Pffffffff...
The air escapes the bedding, whatever it is, while she completely disappears in the middle of it, sinking down.
"Come on in already... Jump. Want to see what the cloud stuffing does under double weight." Head pops up from behind the risen edges. "Imagine it blows up? The whole room would be like Cloudsdale."
