Due to her athleticism and energy, Mina is very skilled and enjoys dancing. Before entering U.A, Mina, despite being new to her school, stopped the bullying of the weakest and was good at making friends. She is able to risk her life to save others, even if she can't deal with the fear afterwards. This was seen when she lied to Gigantomachia to protect her friends when they were scared to talk back to the giant.
