• Name: Nikita

• Nicknames: Sleepless man, Black hoodie guy.

• Gender: Male

• Age: Unknown, around mid-20s or early 30s

• Height: 5'9"

• Species: Human

• Personality: He is a rather calm person who doesn't concern himself that much with the cataclysm. He always yearns to not just finally dream again for himself, but for humanity as well. The frequent use of ellipses implies that he stops mid-sentence constantly likely trying to hold himself together as he is unsure if he is in a dream or not. He also keeps using rhetorical questions in every conversation.

• Appearance: He is a pale, lanky man with black eyes, dark eye bags, a very slight chin stubble, short black hair covered by a hoodie, perfect white teeth, and is wearing a dark hoodie, black sneakers, and blue jeans. An interesting fact is also that his armpits and ears look burned due to his lack of sleep drying up the skin.

• Background: The Sleepless Man reveals very little about his background. He says that he hasn't slept in six days. He also reveals that his last dream had him rooted to train tracks with a train coming at him manned by himself. He then woke up when it was about to hit him.

LORE:

• Visitors: Visitors are creatures that appear human except for small details, such as perfect white teeth, dirty fingernails, bloodshot red eyes, black spots in photo auras, hairless armpits, and rashes on hands or other body parts. They seem to have been previously human, and are stated to have originally been buried, causing many to have dirty fingernails from digging themselves out of the ground. A majority of Visitors are not aware that they are Visitors, those who are aware of their Visitor nature will often be violent and threaten humans for fun or attempt to reject this fact.

• FEMA: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is a government agency tasked with managing and coordinating efforts for a more effective government response to disasters and federal emergencies when resources are overwhelmed. They have been tasked with understanding and identifying Visitors as a result of the anomalous Sun. FEMA is, what some would call a corrupt government agency that cares little about actually helping humanity, supposedly having known about Visitors before they even became a problem, and only acknowledging it when it became a major problem. However, this may just be a theory.
