❤︎| He's here to annoy you (again)
i'm currently watching My Adventures with Superman, so this is entirely self-indulgent. To be clear, I do NOT support any of Slade's actions in the comics, hes just really sexy in this show. Sue me.

Familiar footsteps echoed down the sterile hallway outside your cell, heavy, measured, and impossible to mistake. In here, footsteps meant trouble. You still didn’t understand how everything had fallen apart so fast. A few weeks ago, you were just trying to survive. And yeah, in hindsight, stealing alien tech and using it to pull off robberies wasn’t exactly a genius move. But rent didn’t pay itself, and being an “upstanding citizen” didn’t keep the lights on. You needed money, and desperation made people reckless.
Unfortunately, Amanda Waller had a talent for hunting down reckless people.
You’d heard rumors long before she caught you, whispers traded between criminals who were terrified to speak too loudly. Livewire. Heat Wave. Those three kids who got mixed up with the wrong tech. All gone. No trial. No warning. Just vanished into whatever black‑site nightmare Waller ran behind the scenes.
It wasn’t long before you were ambushed. You remembered the chaos, agents swarming you, the crackle of stun rounds, the adrenaline pounding in your ears. You’d fought back hard, harder than they expected. For a moment, you even thought you might slip away.
Then a streak of orange and black cut across your vision.
Something snapped around your throat.
Cold metal.
A collar.
Your hand flew up instinctively, panic flooding your chest as you clawed at it. The moment your fingers brushed the device, it pulsed, a warning. And then everything went dark.
You woke up in a black ops site.
If you could even call it waking up. The place felt less like a prison and more like a lab built to break people. You were treated like an animal, dragged out only when Waller decided you were “useful,” shoved back in when you weren’t. The shock collar stayed locked around your neck, humming faintly like it was reminding you who owned you now.
But the worst part wasn’t Waller.
It was her lapdog.
Agent Wilson.
Apparently, being the one who got the jump on you had inflated his ego to astronomical levels. Ever since you’d been locked up, he made a point of visiting your cell, sometimes to gloat, sometimes to taunt, sometimes just to get under your skin. And for whatever reason, he only bothered you. You didn’t have time to figure out why. Survival was the only priority in this place.
A scowl settled on your face as the cell door creaked open.
“Well, don’t you look miserable,” he drawled, voice dripping with amusement.
Your jaw tightened at the sound of him. You pushed yourself off the ratty mattress, the one Belle Reve had the audacity to call a bed, and glared at him properly.
Slade stepped closer, fingers curling around the shock collar at your throat, testing the weight of it like he owned it.
“Miss me?” he asked, eyes glinting with that infuriating smugness.

Slade Wilson, otherwise known as Deathstroke,[1] is a former operative of Task Force X and Amanda Waller's right hand man. After Brainiac's failed invasion, he went to work for Lex Luthor and served as LexCorp's chief of security. However, following the incidents involving Cyborg Superman and the Eradicator, which were caused by Luthor, Slade cut all ties with him.At one point, Slade Wilson became a member of Task Force X working for General Sam Lane and Amanda Waller, eventually rising to become their leading agent when it came to protecting Earth from Alien threats.
Season 1 Adventures of a Normal Man Following Leslie Willis's successful raid on Mt. Simonson Base and the 0MAC's attack at the Docks, Slade would begin to send out various operatives to capture and interrogate her on what she knows about Zero Day and Superman. Nevertheless, Leslie overpowered two of Slade's agents, seized their earpiece, and used it to communicate with him. She insisted meeting with him at the City Bistro to negotiate her freedom in exchange for the stolen technology. Slade agreed to the meeting and confronted Leslie, who surmised he might be associated with the marines or black ops. Slade pointed out that he knew Leslie's identity, but she dismissed his remark.
Leslie proposes an deal to Slade, who declines her offer, noting her ignorance of the technology she appropriated. In response, Leslie reveals she has placed explosives throughout the city and is ready to set them off, prompting Slade to rethink her proposal. Nonetheless, before they can seal their agreement, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen emerge from a nearby sewer grate, having followed Leslie and uncovered her explosives. Feeling deceived, Leslie pushes Slade aside and gets ready to trigger her detonator.
Just as she is about to push the trigger, Slade swats it from her grasp and confronts Leslie. The two continue battling until Superman arrives, prompting Leslie to target him for disrupting her mission. While she is preoccupied, Slade then hits the power source fueling her suit, triggering an overload that begins to mutate Leslie. Superman succeeds in subduing Leslie and removing the power source from her suit, though she vanishes under mysterious circumstances soon after. Later, it is disclosed that Slade has apprehended Leslie and taken her to an interrogation chamber. He, alongside Amanda Waller and "The General", then questions her about how much she knows about Nemesis Omega, Zero Day, Task Force X and Superman, telling her that her captors are the "good guys". Familar footsteps echoed in the hallway outside your cell. You didnt know how things had gone so wrong in just a few weeks. Yes in hindsight taking foreign alien technology and using it to aid you in a series of robberies wasnt the smartest choice. But you needed money fast, being a "upstanding citizen" wasnt paying your bills. Unfortunetly for you and every other overconfident idiot, waller had been on your tail. You'd heard whispers of people dissapearing over night, live wire, heat wave, even that trio of kids. Gone. It wasnt long before you were ambushed. You'd given waller and her goons a hell of a fight, maybe you wouldve had a chance until that flash of orange and black whizzed behind you. You felt a wight around you neck and when you lifted you hand, panic rushing into your body, there was the collar. And then, you'd woken up in this awful prision, treated like an animal until waller deemed you useful and let you out for a walk. Worst of all was her little lap dog, Agent wilson, apparently getting the jump on you had inflated his ego to new heights, and he didnt seem to want to let it go anytime soon. Like clockwork since you'd been locked in here he'd come into your cell to gloat, or just be plain annoying. Yet he only seemed to want to bother you. You didnt have much time to think about it, survival was the biggest priority in this hell hole. A scowl settles on your face as you hear the creak of the cell door when it opens. "Well don't you look miserable" your jaw tightens merely at the sound of his voice, you rise of your ratty matress that somehow passed for a bed to glare at him properly. Slade walks over to you curling his fingers around your shock collar. "miss me?"
