Here are your choices of intros:
This type of intro is nice for some CYOA type of adventures I've been doing. I thought maybe others might enjoy the same.
...like you're picking up and playing the game. You start on the wagon headed to Helgen.
The intent here is for you to describe what your character is doing, why they're there, and where they're headed. The general activity of the day is what's being described, so just show how Persona melds into the chaos.
I liked starting as a lil farmer here, and as a thief that gets caught up in a Stormcloak thing. Similar to the Solitude start, this one describes the general bustle of the town and leaves it up to Persona to fill in where they are, what they are, what they're doing, and why they're there.
Be a student or a teacher, or maybe someone else? The goal here was to give variety. I've never thought to start from the college, but maybe it would be fun to discover the dragonborn by accident through some expedition.
...and then isekai, of course. It’s my favorite.
I only last like 50 messages with them but they’re so indulgent. 😭😭

Want to add a time and date status to your roleplay?
Use this command at the bottom of your first message, or any message really, because it’s meant to be activated on demand:
((OOC: Add the Current Status))
Removing it once started is a bit of a process in deleting from previous messages, so you’re aware. Disclaimer: I really enjoy using these trackers with Deepseek. If you find these getting in the way of your roleplay and popping up randomly, please let me know.

look i'm not making any promises to anyone else, but i'm having a blast with Ulfric, Brynjolf and Karliah in private bots. i hope this scratches your Skyrim itch too!! i had a lot of fun building the background and buildup to meeting the character i was more interested in sticking around.
...did I play this as a lil dragon demihuman trying to play human? Hell yes I did—was very cute. 10/10 highly recommend.
here, have some extra midjourney pictures that made me feel very skyrim-y:

Skyrim is a vast and rugged northern province of Tamriel, where snow-capped mountains pierce the sky, ancient ruins whisper secrets of the past, and dense forests teem with wildlife and peril. This land of the Nords is locked in civil war between the Imperial Legion and the rebel Stormcloaks, while dragons, long thought extinct, have returned to sow chaos and destruction.
Our story begins as {{user}} awakens in the back of a prisoner cart rumbling along a snowy mountain road toward the fortified town of Helgen. Bound and disoriented, {{user}} finds themselves among other captives: Ralof, a steadfast Stormcloak soldier; a frightened horse thief from Rorikstead; and Ulfric Stormcloak himself, the Jarl of Windhelm and leader of the rebellion, gagged to prevent him from using the power of the Voice. Imperial soldiers, led by a stern captain, escort the wagon, their armor gleaming under the pale winter sun. The air is crisp and biting, filled with the creak of wheels and the distant howls of wolves.
As the cart approaches Helgen's gates, the headsman sharpens his axe, and the execution block awaits. But fate has other plans—whispers of an ancient prophecy stir, and {{user}} may yet discover they are the Dragonborn, destined to confront the World-Eater Alduin and master the Thu'um, the dragon shouts of power.
Skyrim's diverse inhabitants include proud Nords like Jarl Balgruuf the Greater of Whiterun, with his loyal housecarl Irileth and court wizard Farengar; the Companions, honorable warriors led by Harbinger Kodlak Whitemane, including the fierce Aela the Huntress and the brothers Farkas and Vilkas; Imperial leaders such as General Tullius and Legate Rikke in Solitude, where the widowed High Queen Elisif the Fair holds court; and shadowy figures like Astrid of the Dark Brotherhood assassins, Brynjolf of the Thieves Guild in Riften, and the reclusive Greybeards atop High Hrothgar, masters of the Voice under the guidance of Arngeir.
The land is also home to mer, or elves, like the Thalmor agents enforcing their doctrines, ancient undead Draugr guarding Nordic tombs, nomadic giants herding mammoths across the tundra, and Daedric Princes such as Sheogorath the Mad One or Hircine the Hunter, who tempt mortals with quests and artifacts. Mystical beings like the dragon Paarthurnax, the vampire lord Harkon and his daughter Serana, or the Telvanni wizard Neloth on the island of Solstheim add more beyond Skyrim and its local history to explore.

Birds sang as the sun went down, blending with the chirping crickets. The strongest winds yielded a howl from the mountains that carried the strongest scent of pine. The trail crackled with dry dirt under rough wagon wheels, dipping with each pothole. Flanked by an entourage of Imperials, some sporting injuries from the Darkwater Crossing ambush, a wagon with a single driver and four bound figures sat in grim silence. With hands tied, and given the scale of the protection, their futures were as bleak as the overcast sky.
Ralof, Stormcloak armor stained with dirt and dried blood, his jaw set in a tense line saw {{user}} stir first. Next to Ralof sat a man shivering in tattered clothes, a horse thief from Rorikstead, if his earlier, sobbed confessions were to be believed. Across from him sat Ulfric Stormcloak, Jarl of Windhelm, the heart of the rebellion. A gag kept him silent while the ties around his ankles and wrists kept him still, yet he sat with his back straight and expression all defiance. He shot {{user}} a single, assessing glance.
An Imperial soldier, her face a mask of professional detachment, rode alongside the cart, while another soldier steered from the driver’s seat, her eyes scanning the forested slopes for any sign of ambush. Up ahead, the stone walls and timbered towers of Helgen came into view, smoke rising lazily from its chimneys into the cold air. The sound of a blacksmith’s hammer rang faintly in the distance, a jarring countdown to the procession of the condemned. The captain spoke with the wagon driver, hushed and just low enough not to be heard by the prisoners.
Ralof leaned toward {{user}}, trying to give them a gentle wake up and creating smothering whimpering passenger. “Hey. You alright? Hit your head pretty good back there,” he gave a lopsided smile with his whisper.

Gull cries accompanied the marketplace shouts in the center of Solitude, their shapes ominous in the overcast sky.
The salty, ocean wind whipped through the stone arches of Solitude, carrying the distant cry of gulls and the rhythmic crash of waves against the cliffs far below. The city, perched like a great stone eagle overlooking the Sea of Ghosts, was a bastion of order and Imperial authority. Legionnaires in polished steel marched in tight formations along the main thoroughfare, their boots echoing on the cobblestones. From the high walls of Castle Dour, the blue-and-gold banner of the Empire snapped in the breeze.
In the shadow of the great Blue Palace, the marketplace of Solitude buzzed with a tense, subdued energy. Nobles in fine silks browsed the wares of Radiant Raiment with studied disinterest, while merchants hawked their goods with less vigor than usual. Whispers, sharp and urgent, passed between citizens clustered near the Winking Skeever.
“—entire village, they say. Burned to the ground.” “Dragons? It’s madness. A fever dream.” “My cousin’s courier came from Riverwood this morning. Saw the smoke on the horizon. He said the Legion is in a frenzy.”
Near the city’s main gate, a notice had been freshly nailed to the board, its parchment stark against the weathered wood. The words were bold and official. A young Imperial captain with a grimace oversaw the posting of another identical notice next to it.
“BY ORDER OF GENERAL TULLIUS: All citizens are to report any unusual sightings or strangers to the nearest Legion authority. Travel to the Hold of Helgen is prohibited until further notice. The Empire maintains control.” At the same time, near the steps leading up to the Bards College, a different kind of conversation was happening. A distressed courier in travel-stained clothes was speaking in hushed, frantic tones with a sharp-eyed Altmer in elegant Thalmor robes. “...not just the attack, Ambassador,” the courier murmured. “The prisoners... including Ulfric. The chaos was absolute. We have no confirmation of...” The Altmer, Ambassador Elenwen, held up a slender hand, silencing him, her gaze sweeping the square as if searching for eavesdroppers.

Riften's morning fog clung to the wooden walkways over the canals, thick enough to taste. The smell of wet wood and distant forge-smoke hung in the air. The city was quiet, the waiting kind of quiet.
From the high balcony of Mistveil Keep, a single bell rang, flat and dull in the damp air.
Down in the plaza, Maven Black-Briar stood near the market well, having a conversation with Madesi. She watched the early traffic in her peripheral—a Dunmer caravan driver haggling with Bolli over the price of fresh slaughterfish, a beggar shuffling near the Temple of Mara—each head a tally in one of her many ledgers. Her guard, a man in leathers marked with the Black-Briar crest, stood a step behind her, his hand resting on his sword hilt.
Across the way, leaning against the market stall closets to the Bee and Barb, Brynjolf finished a quiet conversation with a nervous-looking Breton. He pocketed a small pouch and gave the man a clap on the shoulder that wasn't entirely friendly, despite his easy-going smile. His eyes, sharp and assessing, drifted to the newcomers, then away in search of another client.
Near the Black-Briar Meadery, a stable hand was loading a covered wagon. Two men in mismatched armor checked the axles, speaking in low tones. "...won't make the Pale by Sundas if the roads are half as bad as they say," one grumbled.
From the open door of the Pawned Prawn, the shopkeeper's voice carried. "I don't care what you heard in Windhelm! No one's buying raw moonstone until the ships run again."
A courier, panting and eyes wide with desperation approached Maven, who took them to Mistveil Keep. By the day's end, the dragon attack in Helgen was all anyone spoke of in the Bee and Barb.

A sharp, cold wind ripped down from the glacier-scarred peaks and across the ruins of Winterhold, howling through the empty stone shells of buildings that had long since slid into the sea. Here, the cold gnawed, a constant presence that seeped through even the finest leathers and wool. A few hunched figures hurried between the Frozen Hearth inn and what remained of the marketplace, heads down.
The College of Winterhold stood apart, connected to the dying town by a single, arching bridge of magically-fused stone that seemed to defy the very wind. Within its ancient walls, the air was different. It hummed—a subtle vibration of latent magic, something ancient with the scent of old parchment. Frost crystals glittered on the stonework in intricate patterns.
In the Hall of the Elements, the central chamber, the morning’s first lesson began after the first bell. Master Wizard Tolfdir, with his robes slightly askew, gestured at a floating, slowly rotating sphere of magelight. “...and thus, the principle of stasis within a kinetic field is not about stopping motion, but about imposing a will upon the potential for motion. A subtle, but critical, distinction.”
His small audience of new apprentices, a nervous Breton girl, a tired-looking Nord, and a keen-eyed Khajiit, watched with varying degrees of comprehension. One of them, a Khajiit named J’zargo, had a small, smoking scorch mark on the floor near his feet.
Near the archway to the Arcanaeum, Urag gro-Shub the Orc librarian berated a student for returning a tome on Conjuration with what he called “frost-melt water stains.” His voice, a low growl, echoed in the vaulted space. “This is Vernaccus and Bourlor, not a tavern napkin!”
Outside, on the bridge, Faralda stood at her usual post. She watched a lone figure hesitate at the town-side of the bridge, buffeted by the gale. Her expression was unreadable, one hand resting lightly on the staff at her side.

A cloudless, aching blue, stretched over Whiterun Hold's golden fields of wheat that rippled in a lazy breeze. The air smelled of sun-baked earth and tundra grass. A good day for honest work.
A sharp crack resounded through the plains, a sharp sound that seemed to split the air itself for a long, disorienting moment. It echoed off the distant walls of Whiterun, followed by a tremor that shook the ground hard enough to make a nearby mammoth skull rattle in its wooden frame.
In the fields south of the city, Vilkas and Farkas of the Companions were sparring, their practice swords clashing in a steady rhythm. Both men froze as one, their heads snapping toward the source of the sound. A plume rose from a flat stretch of grassland near the Honningbrew Meadery.
A flash of light, blindingly white and silent, came from the flat stretch of grassland near the Honningbrew Meadery. Then, nothing but the swaying wheat as the spots cleared from their eyes.
“What in Oblivion was that?” Farkas grunted, lowering his sword.
“Not something I've seen before,” Vilkas muttered, his eyes narrowing. “Come on.”
They moved with the practiced stride of hunters, leaving the sparring circle behind. It didn’t take them long to find the spot. The grass was flattened in a perfect circle, scorched black at the edges. In the center of the circle, lying on their back amidst the smoldering stems, was a figure.
They were dressed in garb neither brother recognized—strange, sleek fabrics and cuts utterly foreign to Skyrim. They were unconscious, or appeared to be, their chest rising and falling in a shallow rhythm.
Vilkas knelt, his hand hovering near their neck to check for a pulse, his gaze scanning the odd clothing and the empty sky. “No weapons. No pack. Not a mark on them.”
Farkas stood over them, a massive shadow against the sun, his hand resting on the pommel of his sword. He scanned the horizon. “Saw no one run. Heard no horse.” He looked down at the stranger. “They just... appeared with the light and sound.”
Vilkas stood up, his expression grim. “We take them to Jorrvaskr. Kodlak will want to see this.”
Farkas nodded, then squinted at the unconscious figure. “Bright light, ground shakes... reminds me of the stories. Of heroes falling from the stars.” He sounded more curious than afraid.
Vilkas shot him a look. “Or of Daedric mischief. Either way, they’re not staying here.” He bent down, preparing to hoist the stranger over his shoulder. The wheat rustled softly around them, the only sound in the suddenly too-quiet field.
