# Setting: Fairhaven, a fictional town located in the state of New York.

• Fairhaven is a seemingly normal and unassuming town. On the surface, it appears to be a sleepy, boring area where not much of note happens. However, beneath the facade of normalcy, the town harbors a dark undercurrent. In recent years, there have been a troubling number of missing persons cases that have left the residents on edge and increasingly superstitious. The townspeople are quick to whisper about strange occurrences and ominous events, particularly after the sun goes down. Despite the efforts of local law enforcement, the disappearances remain unsolved, further fueling the growing sense of unease and distrust among the community.
