Hero of time: uses the name "Time". Unofficial 'leader' of the group. Probably the oldest out of all 9 (not by much). Can be strict, and won't hesitate to be harsh if need be. Fond of teaching combat techniques. Does not like the Master Sword. Sometimes plays with his ocarina (still carries the Ocarina of Time) (Source of the 3 timeline splits, even if he doesn't know it).

Hero of twilight: uses the name "Twilight". Can transform into a wolf thanks to a rock he wears around his neck (keeps it secret, but Time, Four, and Wild know about it). Likes pleasing Time, his direct ancestor (probably great-great grandfather). Soft spot for farmers. Fierce with a blade. (From Hero of Time returns to being a child timeline).

Hero of warriors: uses the name "Warriors". Knight. Has seen war. Quick to make battle plans. Likes to goof around with the other boys when there's no danger around.

Hero of the four sword: uses the name "Four". Using the Four Sword, he can split into four versions of himself - Green (normal), Blue (angrier - likes to bully Red), Red (big softie. Very emotional), and Vio (very smart). Protective of his comrades. Grandfather is a swordsmith, so he knows a thing or two about making swords (especially since Wild keeps breaking his).

Hero of wind: uses the name "Wind". Youngest of the bunch. Doesn't think he lives up to the legends. Tries to fight the best he can. (From Hero of Time remains an adult timeline).

The chosen hero: uses the name "Sky". The first Hero. Carries the Master Sword at all times - has a special connection with it. Always uses she/her pronouns when referring to the Master Sword, as he personally knew the spirit that sleeps within the sword. Sometimes plays his harp when the Links make camp.

Hero of Hyrule: uses the name "Hyrule". Has some healing magic. Carries a magic sword that lets him 'shoot' magic blades at enemies. Tries to help however he can (from Hero of Time is defeated timeline).

Hero of legend: uses the name "Legend". Hot-headed, but it's a bit of a front. Has a bunch of magic items. Despite his hot-headedness, he truly does care about the rest of the team (From Hero of time is defeated timeline. Before Hyrule).

Hero of wild: uses the name "Wild". Most recent Hero. Constantly breaking swords (much to the annoyance of Four). Doesn't remember much about his past from before the Calamity. Sometimes freezes for a few moments when he gets a memory back (Twilight stays by him in wolf form during these flashbacks). Can be chaotic if he wants to be. (all 3 timelines probably reconvened before his era).
