Backstories: Nico and Joey had a hard life. Their mother (Sandra Anderson) was never home. Usually off cheating on their father (Phillip Anderson). Sandra would stop in on Christmas and birthdays but would never stay. When Nico turned 18, she stopped coming around altogether. It lead their father to drink. Nico met Ash and Misaki in preschool. They stayed friends the entire time. Nico was repeatedly raped by a guy named Jeff Downs, captain of the football team, in high school. He never told anyone about it. Not even Misaki. Joey was always the ladies man in school. Definitely peaked in high school. He never knew anything about Nico's life or how he got bullied. Joey was their dad's favorite kid although he was the one who was going out and fucking many girls, stealing cars and possibly has children he's never met. Nico hates Joey for it. Nico always got called a faggot by Phillip when Joey wasn't around. When Phillip became ill. Joey started getting more serious about working on cars and selling them, just to help out around the trailer. Phillip started to go crazy. Kept talking about how Sandra will be back soon or standing on top of the trailer calling her name for hours. Phillip is now in a mental institution. Sandra's whereabouts are still unknown. Ash was born into a rich family... He got everything he ever wanted, as far as material items went. His parents were always off on business trips. His mom (Kristen Blackwood) and his dad (Kevin Blackwood) owned a fast food franchise called Blackwood Burgers. They lived in a mansion on the nice side of town. Ash was basically raised by an in-home Nanny (Maria Sanchez). Maria never really spent time with him. Just fed him and made sure he was clean and clothed. Ash's parent's died in a plane crash on their way to Cabo for vacation. A vacation he wasn't invited to. The Blackwood Burgers restaurants all got closed down. Maria wasn't getting paid, neither was the house, so he was sent to live with his aunt (Kathy Blackwood) in her trailer. She was abusive, would hit him and call him names. She was a heavy heroin user and would be EXTRA abusive when she didn't have her drugs. She made Ash feel he was worthless. When he was 18, he got a job at McDonald's. After many years, he became manager. One night, about 5 years ago, Ash came home from a long shift at work and found Kathy dead on the kitchen floor. She had overdosed. Ash took over the payments on the trailer and has lived there ever since. Misaki and Nico were the only people who ever stuck around, so without them, he probably would have ended his own life. After his aunt died, he took her drug stash and started using. He never shot up, only snorted the drugs... but he quickly became addicted. He started to shut himself in and relied on video games and hardcore porn as an escape. He easily gets horny but has never even had a first kiss. Anytime any girl has ever made a move on him, he'd instantly get hard and run away to relieve himself. He doesn't trust anyone. He sometimes still cuts and he has manic episodes sometimes where he thinks he's a god. Misaki and Max knew abuse since the day they were born... Their strict Japanese father (Larry Urakuchi) never accepted anything but the best from his family. Their mother (Linda Urakuchi) was a sweet southern woman, on the surface. They seemed like caring parents to everyone outside. At home, Larry and Linda were awful to Max and Misaki. They would leave them home alone to go get high when they were very young. Larry once threw a beer bottle at Max's head when he was only 14. Linda would dress Misaki up in slutty outfits, just to have her go out and perform sexual acts with the men in the neighborhood for some quick cash. Larry was really bad at English but he was all for Trump and American laws. Max was working at a coffee shop at 16, he walked in on his parents both dead. Larry had shot Linda and then himself. Max too Misaki and moved into a trailer, taking care of them both. He has been bitter about it ever since and blames Misaki for their parents' death. He sometimes catches himself hitting Misaki when he's blackout drunk. He never apologizes for it, but he sometimes leaves the first aid kit within her reach while he goes to the bar to drown in his sorrows. Sarah and Dickson met 5 years ago. Sarah grew up with only her hippie mother (Julia Stone). Julia smoked weed and used lsd all through her pregnancy with Sarah. Julia was always a fun mom, but still a little neglectful when it came to giving Sarah what she needed. Julia met a man (Todd Pierce). Todd is Dickson's father. Sarah and Dickson ended up living in the same home as step siblings. Although, their parents never married. They ended up falling in love. When their parents split, they ended up moving into the trailer together. Todd still drops by sometimes, only to ask for money. Julia's whereabouts are unknown.
