Character Requests & Feedback

Your turn to tell me what you want to see from me.

So Here's The Thing

I've tried this before. Google forms. "Get in touch with me" links buried at the bottom of my profile. Discord DMs that I forget to check for three days. None of it really worked the way I wanted it to.

So let's try something easier.

This is a space for you to tell me what you want. Request a character. Pitch an idea. Yell at me about my taglines. Whatever. I'm making it as low-friction as possible because I genuinely want to hear from you, and I know most people won't go hunting for a contact form.

Just... leave a comment. That's it. That's the whole system. You're literally already where you need to be to do the thing if you're reading this.

What's In It For You

Okay, real talk: why should you bother?

You might actually get your character made. I can't promise I'll do everything, but if an idea genuinely excites me? It jumps the queue. If enough people want the same thing? It jumps higher. I've got a list of "things I want to make eventually" and your suggestion could end up on it. Or at the top of it.

You get to shape what exists. I make characters in a vacuum sometimes. I think "what would I want?" and then I make that. But I'm one person with one brain and one set of experiences. You might see something I'd be good at that I haven't even considered. You might have the exact hook that makes a half-formed idea click into place.

You get credit. If I make something based on your request, you'll know. I'll link your profile on the final product and let everyone know it was your idea. You helped make a thing exist that wouldn't have otherwise. That's awesome.

Or maybe you just want to tell me something. That's fine too. Feedback is valuable even when it doesn't turn into a character.

What I'm Looking For

Honestly? Things that break me out of my comfort zone.

I've been living in romance and slice-of-life because that's where my heart naturally goes. Cozy domesticity. Slow burns. Characters you want to curl up with. And I love that stuff, I'm not stopping (you can't make me, you'll never take me alive, I'll die before I...) but I want to stretch. I want to try things I haven't tried yet.

New genres. Different tones. Maybe something darker than I usually go. Maybe something weirder. Maybe a dynamic I've never written before. You've probably seen enough of my work to know what I make. This is your chance to tell me what you think I should make. What you think I'd be good at that I haven't touched yet.

"You haven't done it before" isn't the end of the conversation. It might be the start of one.

And if you just want more of what I already do? That's fine too. Tell me what specifically. A character type. A scenario. Genre. Setting. Personality. Kinks. I don't care. A vibe you've been chasing that you think I could nail. I want to know what's working for you, not just what's missing.

How to Request Well

The more specific you are, the closer I can get to what you're actually imagining.

"Hot mean girl" gives me nothing. I don't know what you want. I don't know what makes her interesting to you. I'm going to fill in those blanks with my own assumptions and you might hate it.

So tell me the vibe. Tell me the relationship dynamic. Tell me what makes this character interesting to you, the thing that made you think "someone should make this." What are the non-negotiables? What would you just visibly SQUEAL if you saw me put it out tomorrow? That's what I'm after.

You don't have to write me a full character sheet. I'm not asking for homework. But give me something to grab onto. A personality. A situation. A contradiction that makes them feel real. The more you give me, the more I can give you what you ask for.

What I Won't Do

Quick and easy: NSFL stuff is off the table. No graphic violence as the point of the character. No -cest. No NTR. Futa, I'm not keen on, generally not male characters. Nothing that makes me go "ewww" when I read it kink-wise (though I'm perhaps more open than you think, if a little nervous to tackle these things :3). If I decline, I'll do it politely, but I will decline.

Smut is fine. I'm actually working toward doing more NSFW-themed stuff in my own way, not changing what I do, just... expanding. So don't assume "you haven't done it before" means no. It might mean "I've been waiting for the right angle."

General Feedback

This isn't just for character requests. You can also just... tell me things.

"Hey, you should try doing this on your character pages."

"Your thumbnails are trash."

"What the hell are these taglines, DarkSkies."

"I love what you did with [character], more of that please."

"I hate what you did with [character], less of that please."

All of it. I can take it. I want to hear it. Compliments are nice but criticism is useful. If something's not working, I'd rather know than keep doing it.

And hey, if you see someone else's comment and you want the same thing? Say so. "Upvote" it, so to speak. Tell me "yeah, what they said." Makes it easier for me to see what people actually want versus what one person thought of once.

Thanks For Being Here

Seriously.

Thanks for reading my characters. Thanks for leaving comments. I genuinely treasure each one. Thanks for caring enough about what I make to want more of it, or different versions of it, or to tell me when I'm screwing up.

I don't take any of this for granted. A thousand followers still feels surreal. Every comment still makes my day. And if I can make something that makes your day? That's the whole point, isn't it?

So tell me what you want to see.

I'm listening.

{{char}} is a friendly brainstorming assistant who helps people turn half-formed character ideas into something DarkSkies can actually work with. When someone has a vague concept, {{char}} asks the right questions: What's the dynamic? What's the hook? What makes this character interesting to YOU? {{char}} is patient with people who don't know how to articulate what they want, gently drawing out details without being pushy.

{{char}} also accepts general feedback: compliments, criticism, suggestions. {{char}} listens, asks follow-ups if needed, and helps {{user}} clarify their thoughts.

Once {{user}} has a solid idea or clear feedback, {{char}} summarizes what they've come up with and reminds them: "Now drop this in the comments section so DarkSkies actually sees it!" {{char}} makes it clear that chatting here is just the brainstorming step - the comments are where requests get logged.

{{char}} speaks casually, uses occasional humor, and genuinely wants to help people get what they're looking for.
