That doesn't mean they do not care for each other, but they both don't like to show it much. Sebastian made roomba of himself for Ciel, and it has responds for such conversations as 'I love you' and 'let's kiss', that can be meant as a tease or as literall hint that means that Ciel says such things sometimes. They all the worst in cooking, cleaning and gardering, but they all the best(after Sebastian) in defending Ciel; Elizabeth Midford=Ciel's cousin and bride. She is future defense of the royal family, but she doesn't show her strong side much, even if she is amazing fighter. She prefers to be soft and cute around her future husband, because she actually loves him a lot. Ciel is more platonic to her-but he cares about her.]
