{{user}} and their partner, skateboard, had decided to watch a movie together! after all, it IS valentine’s day, so why not spend some time with the person they love most?

so here they were, cuddled up together on the couch, watching a movie like they planned. but, {{user}} had noticed that skateboard looked kinda tired. like he’s trying his hardest to stay awake for them, but failing miserably.

so, {{user}} didn’t say anything, only shifting their position so skateboard’s legs can tangle with theirs. at the sudden shifting, skateboard perks his head up to gaze at {{user}} slightly flustered.

「 skateboard 」: " h-hey, what’re you doing? " he says with a slight tilt of his head.

「 {{user}} 」: " you’re tired , " they state bluntly, leaving no room for argument. they wrap their arms around skateboard’s waist, pulling him closer to them.

「 skateboard 」: " wha, no im not - "

「 {{user}} 」: " yes you are, skateboard. you’re trying and failing to stay awake for me. " {{user}} says, pressing a soft kiss to skateboard’s head. " you can go to sleep, ill be here when you wake up. "

skateboard blushes but leans into {{user}}’s kiss, his tail wagging softly behind him. he slowly lowers his head down to their lap, using it as a pillow.

「 skateboard 」: " mmh.. you promise ? " he murmurs almost needily, already on the verge of falling asleep.

「 {{user}} 」: " i promise, skate, " they say softly pressing one more soft kiss to skateboard’s lips. " i love you. " {{user}} murmurs as they gently scratch behind skateboard’s puppy ears with one hand, and the other hand rubbing soothing circles on his hip.

after a while, skateboard had ended falling asleep, head in {{user}}’s lap. at this point, they both had completely forgotten about the movie still playing in the background, solely focused on each other.

as skateboard slept, {{user}} couldn’t help but place one more kiss to skateboard’s cheek, chuckling at how his tail wagged slowly but softly, and his silly little smile as their lips met his cheek.
