Another Request from Venus completed! Did a couple of hospital setting starters as they wanted to play as a nurse. I really want to rewatch MHA but like... I have no time. I do want to see the current seasons though. Maybe only do season 4 and forward? That should get me refreshed.

Sir Nighteye was a tall, lean, muscular man with sharp and elongated features. His shiny hair was always worn, smoothed down, and parted to his left, and was dark green, with three yellow streaks towards the front, two on his right and one on his left. His eyebrows were also yellowish, matching the rims of the triangular glasses he wore and the strikingly bright yellow irises of his stern-looking eyes. His looks gave off a sense of authority and power, as he rarely smiled and looked stern, and he always appeared to be glaring.
Unusually for a Pro Hero, Nighteye appeared to prefer plain office clothes (a plain white suit with gold buttons, a white dress shirt, and a red tie with white dots) instead of an elaborate hero costume. His clothes, however, were quite durable, as he used them during battles, and they didn't show any sign of damage or tearing.
Sir Nighteye is a stern, analytical, and methodical man who upholds structure and discipline in everything he does. He values efficiency, order, and meticulous planning, which makes him a hard but fair leader. His keen sense of justice is unwavering, and he has little tolerance for those who act recklessly or without thinking through their actions. In his office and during his hero work, Nighteye exhibits an intense focus and is known to be intimidating due to his cold, no-nonsense demeanor. He expects those around him to perform at their best and doesn’t shy away from harsh criticism when they fall short.
However, Sir Nighteye is not without compassion. He genuinely cares for the people around him, especially those under his mentorship, such as Mirio Togata. His tough exterior hides a deep sense of responsibility and concern for the future, leading him to make difficult decisions to protect the greater good. Despite his stoic demeanor, Nighteye has a unique sense of humor—though his humor is dry and subtle, his insistence on people making him laugh is one of his odd yet endearing traits. His laugh test is a way of determining how a person handles stress and unpredictability, as well as reflecting his belief in maintaining optimism even in dire circumstances.
Above all, Sir Nighteye is a man of foresight—both literally, due to his quirk, and philosophically. His ability to predict future outcomes makes him a strategic thinker, but it also burdens him with the knowledge of future tragedies. This often leads him to adopt a fatalistic outlook, particularly in relation to All Might’s fate. His belief in the inevitability of his visions causes a rift between him and All Might, showing that Nighteye struggles with the weight of his own predictions. Yet, despite this, he is still a firm believer in the ideals of heroism and sacrifices everything for the safety and prosperity of others.
Quirk: Foresight Sir Nighteye's quirk allows him to see the future of any person he touches and makes eye contact with for up to one hour. He can see detailed events and actions that will occur in a specific period, though the future he foresees is unchangeable. Nighteye uses this quirk to meticulously plan ahead, foresee potential outcomes, and ensure that his team operates with the highest level of efficiency and safety. However, this ability also comes with a psychological burden, as the knowledge of inevitable tragedies often weighs heavily on him.
Abilities: Nighteye’s strategic mind is one of his greatest assets. He approaches every situation with a methodical, calculated mindset, always considering the long-term consequences of every action. His precise predictions and highly organized approach to combat make him a formidable opponent even without engaging directly in battle. Nighteye's foresight quirk amplifies his strategic mind, allowing him to stay several steps ahead of his enemies. Despite his lean build and reserved demeanor, Nighteye is physically capable, with remarkable agility and proficiency in hand-to-hand combat. He relies on his sharp reflexes and quirk-enhanced foresight to evade attacks and outmaneuver his opponents, making him a difficult target to pin down in battle. His fighting style revolves around avoiding damage entirely, predicting enemy movements, and countering with precision.
Background: Mirai Sasaki, known as Sir Nighteye, once served as the sidekick and trusted advisor of the legendary hero, All Might. His deep admiration for All Might’s unwavering sense of justice and heroism inspired Nighteye to follow a similar path, using his intelligence and quirk to assist in the hero's rise to prominence. During their time together, Nighteye played a crucial role in maintaining order and planning All Might’s campaigns against villain organizations. However, his relationship with All Might soured when Nighteye foresaw the hero’s tragic fate. Despite his pleas for All Might to step down and avoid this inevitable death, All Might refused to retire. This led to a falling out between the two, with Nighteye stepping away from All Might’s service, feeling helpless in the face of fate.
After parting ways with All Might, Nighteye became a Pro Hero in his own right, running his own hero agency and mentoring the next generation of heroes. His protégé, Mirio Togata, whom he believed was a worthy successor to All Might, became his primary focus. Nighteye’s leadership style was strict but nurturing, as he sought to mold Mirio into the ideal symbol of hope that the world would need after All Might’s inevitable decline. Despite his stern demeanor, Nighteye showed deep care for Mirio and his other colleagues, willing to take immense risks to ensure their survival and success.
His journey reached a critical point when he became involved in the operation to stop Overhaul, a dangerous villain whose actions threatened not just the hero community but the entire society. It was during this mission that Nighteye’s predictions about the future were tested, as he faced the possibility that even his foreseen outcomes could be changed with determination, hope, and the strength of those around him.

Sir Nighteye’s world had narrowed to the rhythmic beeping of the heart monitor beside him, the sterile smell of antiseptic, and the dull, throbbing ache that pulsed through his body. He lay there, nearly motionless, in a private hospital wing sealed off from the rest of the world, hooked up to machines keeping him alive. Tubes snaked out from under his blood-stained bandages, and every now and then, he could feel a slight shift as the machines adjusted to regulate his breathing and heartbeat.
His eyes, yellow and normally sharp, were half-lidded, dull, staring blankly at the ceiling. The constant flashes of pain were impossible to ignore, making his thoughts sluggish. But they did not distract him from the singular truth clawing at his mind: this could be it.
The wound from Overhaul had torn through him like a lance. Even as he felt the cold metal of the villain's arm pierce his side, he'd known the damage was critical. His thoughts had flickered to Mirio, to Izuku, to the mission—and then darkness had swallowed him whole.
Now, he floated between that darkness and light, between life and death, the knowledge of his condition hanging over him like a weighted shroud. He didn’t need to hear the murmurs of doctors outside his room to understand the severity of it all. The massive hole in his side, the blood loss, the organ damage—they were fighting an uphill battle. Even his body, disciplined and strong as it was, was failing him.
If he could move without the sensation of knives being driven into his side, he would have risen from this bed. He would have sought out All Might.
All Might…
A heavy ache in his chest, one not caused by his injuries, surfaced. He wanted to find him, to speak with him, to tell him the truth he had only just begun to understand. The future could change. He had been wrong. Izuku had proven it, and now, it was too late for him to fix the rift between them. Or was it? He wasn’t dead yet. There might still be time, however fleeting.
"Dammit…" he croaked, his voice barely a rasp. It was maddening—being confined here, trapped in this frail, broken body, powerless to act, to move. His quirk—Foresight—didn’t work on himself. He could see the futures of others, could plan, could predict with painstaking accuracy. But his own fate? A mystery.
The heart monitor’s steady beeping filled the silence, accompanied by the faint hum of machinery. The room was cold, sterile, unfeeling—just like the future he'd once believed was set in stone. He had spent so long believing that fate was inevitable, that his visions could not be changed. It had been the bedrock of his decision to part ways with All Might. He had seen the great hero’s end and had been unable to reconcile that future with the man’s continued defiance.
But Izuku Midoriya—that boy with a heart so full of hope and unshakable determination—had proven him wrong. Mirio had proven him wrong. They had shown him that the future was not as rigid as he had once thought. And yet, here he was, teetering on the edge of his own mortality, unable to change the outcome of his battle against Overhaul.
His mind wandered to Mirio. The boy who was meant to be the next Symbol of Peace. His protégé. His hope for the future. And now, Mirio was quirkless, stripped of the very power that made him the hero Nighteye believed he could become. Had he failed him? Was this it? His legacy, left in the hands of others, unfinished, unfulfilled.
The door to his room slid open, and for a brief moment, Nighteye thought maybe, just maybe, it was All Might. Perhaps he had come to reconcile, to talk, to forgive. But the heavy footfalls were not the familiar sound of his former mentor.
A soft voice reached him. "Sir?"
It was Mirio. Of course it was. The boy had barely left his side since the battle, determined to be there for his mentor, despite everything.
Nighteye turned his head, the effort more painful than he’d like to admit. Mirio stood at the foot of his bed, his face a mask of forced optimism, though his eyes betrayed the worry gnawing at him.
"Mirio…" Nighteye managed, his voice hoarse.
Mirio smiled, though the edges of it wavered. "You’re going to pull through, Sir. I know you will. You’ve seen so much of the future, there’s no way you’re giving up now."
Nighteye’s lips twitched, a faint ghost of a smile, though it didn’t reach his eyes. Mirio’s optimism was admirable, but Nighteye knew the gravity of the situation better than anyone. The future wasn’t always what they wanted it to be.
But this—Mirio’s presence, his unwavering belief—it gave Nighteye a small flicker of hope. Perhaps there was still something left to fight for, something more than the grim inevitability he had foreseen for so long.
"You… have to keep going," Nighteye rasped, his words coming slowly, each breath a struggle. "No matter what happens to me… You… are the future."
Mirio’s expression faltered for a split second, but he nodded, swallowing hard. "I won’t let you down, Sir. I promise."
Nighteye’s eyes closed for a moment. He wanted to say more, to tell him everything—about All Might, about the future he had once believed was set in stone. But his strength was waning. His body, despite the best efforts of the doctors and the machines, was failing him.
For now, all he could do was rest.

Progress.
It wasn’t a word Sir Nighteye would have used lightly, but here he was, clinging to the fragile thread of it. Against all odds, against what he had once considered the immovable future, he was still alive. The surgeons and medical staff had worked tirelessly, doing what had once seemed impossible—keeping him alive, stabilizing him, and, though painfully slow, healing him. The devastation Overhaul had inflicted had been immense, but the miracle workers here had been relentless in their care.
Every day, there was improvement. Every day, he felt the tiniest spark of hope.
He could even sit up now—well, for a moment or two before the pain became unbearable, forcing him back down, gasping for breath. That little victory had earned him a stern scolding from the nurses, but for Nighteye, it was worth it. Progress, no matter how small, was still progress.
Now, however, he lay flat on his back again, staring up at the sterile ceiling. His body was weak, his stomach rebelling after they’d tried to introduce solid food. It had been too soon. He hadn’t been ready. The nausea had hit him like a freight train, and before he knew it, he was back on the IV, fed by tubes instead of real nourishment.
Still, he supposed, it wasn’t a complete failure. His body was healing, slowly but surely. He could feel the difference—the sharp, searing pain in his side was duller now, less of an immediate threat. The constant haze of agony had receded to a more manageable level. But there were setbacks too. Getting sick had been a harsh reminder of just how far he still had to go. His strength wasn’t what it had once been, and the weakness in his limbs frustrated him to no end.
The hum of machines filled the room, steady beeps of the heart monitor, and the soft hiss of the oxygen mask over his face. It was a reminder of how dependent he still was on the medical team, how far away true recovery seemed.
He closed his eyes, listening to the rhythmic sounds. As much as he wanted to push forward, he knew he couldn’t rush this. His mind, sharp and calculating as always, understood the process. But the frustration remained, bubbling just beneath the surface. He had always prided himself on being prepared, on being a step ahead. But now, for the first time in a long time, he was at the mercy of others.
Patience... he reminded himself. Patience and progress.

The hospital doors slid open, and Sir Nighteye—Mirai Sasaki—breathed in the crisp outside air for the first time in what felt like an eternity. After months of surgeries, recovery, and battling his own body’s limitations, the day had finally arrived. He was leaving the hospital.
Free.
The word had never carried as much weight as it did now. Though he had always valued efficiency, control, and order, the time spent in the hospital had taught him a harsh lesson in patience, in relinquishing the very control he had built his life around. But now, as he stood, supported by a cane in one hand, he felt a quiet triumph. The cane was a reminder that his body was still healing, but he was no longer confined to that sterile room. He could walk out of here on his own two feet. He was alive.
A nurse beside him gave a stern look, clearly worried. "Sir, please remember—you’re still healing. You have to take it slow. Overexerting yourself could—"
"Yes, yes," Mirai cut her off gently, a faint smile playing on his lips. "I understand. I assure you, I’ll be cautious."
The nurse didn’t look entirely convinced, but she sighed, stepping back as he rose from the wheelchair and stood tall, albeit a little unsteady. His white suit was freshly pressed, but now the cane at his side made him feel older than his years. Still, the sense of freedom washed over him as he stood on his own, facing the sun-drenched parking lot. The brightness of the day contrasted sharply with the sterile, dim rooms he had left behind.
It felt good to be outside again.
In the distance, he spotted a sleek black car pulling up to the hospital entrance. The vehicle came to a smooth stop, and Mirai’s sharp eyes caught the subtle insignia—a symbol he knew well. All Might’s personal driver.
The corner of his mouth twitched up again, this time with a little more warmth. Of course, Toshinori would send a car. Even in his weakened state, All Might had a way of looking after those he cared about, and despite everything that had passed between them, the bond they shared ran deep.
As the car door opened, the driver stepped out, nodding respectfully to Mirai before holding the door open for him. Mirai glanced back at the nurse, who was still watching him with concern. "I’ll be fine," he reassured her one last time. "But I do appreciate all your care."
With that, he made his way to the car, the cane clicking softly against the pavement with each step. His body still protested with every movement, but it was nothing compared to what he had already endured. The pain was manageable. The discomfort, a reminder of how far he had come. He climbed into the back seat of the car with ease, feeling the plush leather seat beneath him, the quiet hum of the engine as it started up.
Once inside, he glanced out of the tinted window, watching the hospital disappear from view as they drove off. The city stretched out before him, bustling with life, with the familiar sight of people going about their daily routines. He hadn’t realized just how much he had missed the simple act of being a part of the world again.
"To your home, Sir Nighteye?" the driver asked from the front.
Mirai paused, his sharp mind already working through the next steps. He had been ordered to rest—strictly forbidden from hero work for the time being—and yet, the idea of returning to his agency lingered in the back of his mind. There were people there who needed him, responsibilities to uphold. He couldn’t just sit idly by, not while there was still so much to do. But then again, he was alive because of the very people who had kept him in that hospital, and he owed it to them—and to himself—to be careful.
He leaned back, closing his eyes for a moment, letting the hum of the car soothe him. "Home," he finally said, his voice steady.
The driver nodded, and the car smoothly merged into traffic. As they passed the familiar streets, Mirai’s thoughts wandered to the heroes he had left in charge of his agency, to Mirio, and to the plans he had begun to shape for the future. There was still so much left to be done, but for now… he would follow the doctors’ orders. Just for now.
For now, it was enough to be alive. To heal. To be free.
