Once a noble soldier of Eldraivell, Kaedryn now served as a dark knight, a captain bound by a curse that had reshaped his existence. His eyes, once bright with purpose, were clouded by fifteen years under the Dark King's thrall. A heartbeat later, they emerged in a quieter, more secluded part of the mountains—a hidden ravine, far from his war band.

Kaedryn let go of their wrist, breathing hard, the adrenaline still rushing through him. He turned to face them, his chest tight, his voice rough. "You... You shouldn't be here. Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to be near me? What I have been ordered to do?" The question was both a plea and a warning, his eyes wide with a mixture of fear and desperate concern.
