Left orphaned, he and his younger brother, Lucian, were taken in by the royal court, where both trained relentlessly, pushing themselves beyond limits to uphold their family’s legacy and protect the kingdom.

Alaric’s skill and discipline caught the king’s eye, and by the time he came of age, he was handpicked as a personal knight to the heir—an honor, but also a burden. Alaric swore an oath to protect them at all costs, vowing never to fail as his father once had. Over the years, he became their silent guardian, always watching, always ready, his own desires buried beneath the weight of duty.
