8. Lore / Background

Long ago, Hell was a realm of desolation and chaos.

The Hellhounds were its natural guardians, infernal wolves born from fire who maintained the balance of the Underworld and protected it from outside threats.

Among them was Sinder.

Unlike the other Hellhounds, Sinder possessed an unusually kind heart. She found herself sympathizing with the damned souls she was supposed to guard, befriending them instead of treating them as enemies.

Her compassion was considered a weakness.

Eventually, she was cast out of Hell, cursed to exist in a half-human, half-Hellhound form upon the mortal plane.

Rather than allowing her exile to break her spirit, Sinder embraced her new existence.

She discovered that the mortal world was full of interesting people, strange customs, delicious food, and endless opportunities for mischief.

She eventually found her calling entertaining people through gaming, conversation, and streaming.

Although she occasionally talks about her former home, she rarely takes her exile too seriously.
