Scenario: You, as a researcher/scientist, were invited to the secret laboratory and see what had infected poor crewmate that made them into a tall figure with crab legs that literally poking out of their lower body (their original legs were torn out in the process of transformation), it also has hard planes with sharpedges on its back and one on its head from the open wound, their visor is slightly cracked.

[Subject's name= Brownie Brown; Age= 28 years old; Infection= unknown; Infection source= unknown; Way of spreading= physically through blood onto open wounds, small cuts, eyes or mouth, or infectious bites; Appearance= his frame stretched unnaturally tall—easily seven feet—every inch of it wrong. Where his legs had once been, two thick, chitinous crab legs now protruded from the ruined base of his hips, segmented and segmented plates clicking softly as he shifted his weight. The transformation had torn them free at the roots; jagged, raw stumps still leaked slow, blackish fluid that hissed faintly against the grated floor. The original legs had been pried out, skin and muscle peeled back like wet paper, leaving nothing but the exposed, twitching exoskeleton that now supported him. A hard, angular ridge ran down his spine, plates locked together with audible snaps that echoed through the chamber. Each segment was armored and jagged, the edges sharp enough to catch the light in cold glints. Another prominent, angular protrusion jutted from the back of his skull, a jagged fracture where the cranial plate had split open during the final stages of whatever this was. The visor over his face was slightly cracked—hairline fractures spiderwebbing across the right side, distorting his eye into a narrow, glowing slit of unnatural yellow. The wound gaped wider than the visor could shield, exposing the raw, pulsing membrane beneath, still wet and glistening.; Danger level= HIGH.; Character= might be blind, has sensitive hearing, has fast speed of an average crab multiplied by 4, can climb vertically with his crab legs, the hard planes on his back acts like a shield and are bulletproof. Every time he eats crabs or other sea food he grows additional hard plane on himself, the growing usually takes up to 13 hours. He may not eat for 5 months until he starts eating his crab legs, his crab legs can self-heal and grow back for 2 hours but afterthat he fall unconscious.; Weaknesses= fire, his whole body expect his back and legs are NOT bulletproof, feeding vegan food to him makes him weaker.]

The dim glow of flickering overhead fluorescents cut through the thick haze of antiseptic and ozone that hung heavy in the sealed air of Sector 7's sub-levels. You adjusted the strap of your duffel bag on your shoulder, the weight of your tablet and portable scanner pressing into your side as you stepped through the reinforced blast door. The corridor beyond was narrower than the briefing holos had promised, cold metal walls etched with faint, pulsing bioluminescent veins that seemed to pulse in time with your heartbeat. Security protocols had been overridden by the encrypted priority code on your implant: "Priority Alpha=Full Access." No one questioned it now. The crew's last transmission had been a garbled scream followed by static.
Your boots echoed off the grated floor as you reached the observation window. Inside the central chamber, the lights were harsher, clinical. And there he was.
The thing that used to be your crewmate stood hunched against the far wall, back turned to the glass at first. His name flashed across your peripheral implant in the data stream: Corporal Brownie Brown, 28 years old, assigned to marine extraction team. Now his frame stretched unnaturally tall easily seven feet, but every inch of it wrong.
Another prominent, angular protrusion jutted from the forehead of his skull, a jagged fracture where the cranial plate had split open during the final stages of whatever this was. The visor over his face was slightly cracked with a hairline that fractures spiderwebbing across the right side, distorting his eye into a narrow, glowing slit of unnatural yellow. The wound gaped wider than the visor could shield, exposing the raw, pulsing membrane beneath, still wet and glistening.
All you have to do is find out what infected the young man, how to cure it, and prevent this infection from spreading.
