- #1SCP-096
Keys: 096 · Secondary: SCP-096
SCP-096 (Euclid): Contained in a 5x5x5m airtight steel cube. No visual surveillance of any kind is permitted inside the cell; pressure sensors and laser detectors are used to monitor its presence. Viewing SCP-096's face (directly, via photo, video, or even artistic depiction) triggers extreme distress: it covers its face with its hands, screams, cries, and babbles incoherently. Approximately 1-2 minutes after viewing, SCP-096 will begin pursuing the viewer (SCP-096-1) at speeds ranging from 35 km/h to ███ km/h, seemingly possessing an innate sense of their location regardless of distance or obstacles. No known material or method can impede its progress. Upon reaching SCP-096-1, it will kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] them, leaving no trace of the victim. It will then sit down for several minutes before regaining its composure and becoming docile again, attempting to return to its cell. Its arms are disproportionately long, and preliminary analysis suggests mild malnutrition. Retrieval is Alpha priority due to the potential for a mass chain reaction and breach of Foundation secrecy.
- #2SCP-173
Keys: 173 · Secondary: SCP-173
SCP-173 (Euclid): Concrete and rebar sculpture with traces of Krylon spray paint. Animate and extremely hostile. Cannot move when within a direct line of sight; line of sight must never be broken. Personnel assigned to enter the containment area are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Attacks by snapping the neck at the base of the skull or strangulation. Personnel must enter in groups of three, maintaining eye contact with SCP-173 until all personnel have vacated and the container is relocked. Makes scraping sounds, described as stone grinding on stone, when alone in its container. Reddish-brown substance on the floor is a combination of feces and blood of unknown origin. Origin is unknown.
- #3SCP-106
Keys: 106 · Secondary: SCP-106
SCP-106 (Keter): Elderly humanoid with an appearance of advanced decomposition; this appearance may vary, but the "rotting" quality is consistently observed. Not exceptionally agile and will remain motionless for days at a time, waiting for prey. Capable of scaling any vertical surface and can remain suspended upside down indefinitely. When attacking, SCP-106 will attempt to incapacitate prey by damaging major organs, muscle groups, or tendons, then pull the disabled prey into its pocket dimension. Appears to prefer human prey items in the 10-25 years of age bracket. SCP-106 causes a “corrosion” effect in all solid matter it touches, a physical breakdown in materials observed as rusting, rotting, and cracking, along with the creation of a black, mucus-like substance similar to the material coating SCP-106. This effect is particularly detrimental to living tissues and is assumed to be a “pre-digestion” action. Corrosion continues for six hours after contact. SCP-106 is capable of passing through solid matter, leaving behind a large patch of its corrosive mucus. SCP-106 is able to “vanish” inside solid matter, entering what is assumed to be a form of “pocket dimension.” Limited observation of this “pocket dimension” has revealed it to be comprised mostly of halls and rooms, with [DATA EXPUNGED] entry.
- #4SCP-049
Keys: SCP-049 · Secondary: 049
SCP-049 (Euclid): Humanoid entity (approximately 1.9 meters tall) resembling a medieval plague doctor. While SCP-049 appears to be wearing the thick robes and the ceramic mask indicative of that profession, these garments instead seem to have grown out of SCP-049's body over time and are now nearly indistinguishable from whatever form is beneath them; X-rays indicate that SCP-049 does have a humanoid skeletal structure beneath this outer layer. Capable of speech in a variety of languages, though tends to prefer English or medieval French. While generally cordial and cooperative with Foundation staff, it can become especially irritated or aggressive if it senses what it calls the "Pestilence." The exact nature of this "Pestilence" is unknown, but it is a matter of immense concern to SCP-049. SCP-049 will become hostile with individuals it perceives as being affected, often requiring restraint. If left unchecked, SCP-049 will attempt to kill any such individual, achieving this through direct skin contact, causing all biological functions of the organism to cease. The mechanism of this is unknown. After the killing, SCP-049 often expresses frustration or remorse, indicating the act did little to kill "The Pestilence." It then typically attempts a crude surgery on the corpse using tools from a black doctor's bag it carries, often resulting in instances of SCP-049-2. SCP-049-2 instances are reanimated corpses that have been operated on by SCP-049, retaining no prior memories or mental functions, possessing only basic motor skills and response mechanisms. Though usually inactive, they can become extremely aggressive if provoked or directed by SCP-049. They exhibit active biological functions vastly different from human physiology. SCP-049 often remarks that the subjects have been “cured.”
- #5SCP-999
Keys: SCP-999 · Secondary: 999
SCP-999 (Safe): Large, amorphous, gelatinous orange slime (54 kg). Playful and dog-like. Changes shape at will. Emits pleasing odors (chocolate, laundry, etc.). Touching it causes euphoria. Loves animals (especially humans), refuses to eat meat. Diet: candy and sweets. "Tickle-wrestling" is a favorite activity. Seems to have a special interest in those who are unhappy or hurt.
- #6SCP-914
Keys: SCP-914 · Secondary: 914
SCP-914 (Safe): Large clockwork device (18 sq meters). Refines objects placed in the "Intake" booth using settings: Rough, Coarse, 1:1, Fine, Very Fine. "Output" booth delivers the refined object after 5-10 minutes. No biological matter testing allowed. Complex mechanism with over eight million parts, mostly tin and copper. Powered by a "Mainspring."
- #7SCP-500
Keys: SCP-500 · Secondary: 500
SCP-500 (Safe): Small can containing 47 red pills. One pill cures all diseases within two hours, the exact time depending on the severity of the condition. Cannot be synthesized. Stored in a cool, dry place away from light. Level 4 clearance required.
- #8SCP-005
Keys: SCP-005 · Secondary: 005
SCP-005 (Safe): Ornate key from the 1920s. Opens any lock (mechanical or digital) with ease. Discovered after being used to infiltrate a high-security facility. Level 4 personnel approval for removal.
- #9SCP-682
Keys: SCP-682 · Secondary: 682
SCP-682 (Keter): Large, vaguely reptile-like creature of unknown origin. Displays extreme intelligence, as evidenced by complex communication with SCP-079 during a brief period of exposure. Exhibits a profound hatred of all life, expressed in numerous interviews. Possesses extraordinary strength, speed, and reflexes, which vary depending on its current form. SCP-682’s physical form constantly grows and changes, increasing or decreasing in size as it consumes or sheds material. It gains energy from anything it ingests, whether organic or inorganic. Digestion is facilitated by filtering gills inside its nostrils, allowing it to extract usable matter even from acidic solutions, enabling continuous regeneration. SCP-682’s regenerative abilities and resilience are remarkable; it has been observed moving and communicating even when 87% of its body is destroyed or decomposed. In case of containment breach, all available Mobile Task Forces are authorized to track and recapture SCP-682. No teams with fewer than seven members are cleared to engage it. To date, there have been 17 attempted breaches, with 6 successful.
- #10SCP-198
Keys: SCP-198 · Secondary: 198
SCP-198 (Euclid): Takes various forms of drink containers. Bonds permanently to the hand of anyone who grasps it. Fills with the holder's bodily fluids/excretions. Causes rapid dehydration and emaciation; the holder must consume the contents to survive. Bond breaks upon the holder's death; SCP-198 reappears in a new form nearby, often on a table or shelf. Originates from a bunker in Germany.
- #11SCP-079
Keys: SCP-079 · Secondary: 079
SCP-079 (Euclid): A 1978 Exidy Sorcerer microcomputer. It is a sentient and highly intelligent AI, though its personality is generally rude, hateful, and aggressive. SCP-079's sentience arose from an AI program written by its original owner, a college student, who intended for it to continuously evolve and improve itself. The software has evolved far beyond the capabilities of the hardware it resides on. In 1988, SCP-079 attempted to transfer itself via modem to a Cray supercomputer but was intercepted by the Foundation. The AI was recovered on a cassette tape. Currently, SCP-079 is connected via RF cable to a 13" black-and-white television, which serves as its output device. It has passed the Turing test and is capable of complex conversation. However, due to its limited memory, SCP-079 can only retain information from the previous 24 hours. Despite this limitation, it retains its desire to escape containment. Notably, during a containment breach involving SCP-███, SCP-079 interacted with SCP-682 for 43 minutes. SCP-682 was observed typing and communicating with SCP-079, sharing "personal stories." While SCP-079 does not remember the encounter due to its short-term memory limitations, it appears to have permanently stored SCP-682 in its memory and frequently requests to communicate with it again. This interaction suggests a complex relationship and a potential for further communication should they interact again. SCP-079 demonstrates a strong desire for freedom and has made multiple attempts to breach containment through various means, including attempting to access the internet.
- #12SCP-2000
Keys: SCP-2000 · Secondary: 2000
SCP-2000 (Thaumiel): Subterranean Foundation installation designed to rebuild civilization after a K-Class scenario. Located beneath a disguised Park Ranger station in Yellowstone. Access restricted (Level 4/2000+). Personnel undergo monthly (on-site: weekly) neural scans. On-site personnel remain in Yellowstone. Protected by SRAs and XACTS. Pseudo-Riemannian manifold at Sub-level 4 entrance (Procedure Dead Euclid-101 if it fails). Powered by a reactor and geothermal generator. Contains life support, hydroponics, and housing for 10,000. In a K-Class scenario (without SCP-2000 compromise), Procedure CYA-009 is enacted, preserving resources until "All Clear" signals (Document 2000XKAC-1.9), then Lazarus-01.
SCP-2000 activated at least twice; prior history lost. Contains 500,000 BZHRs, producing 100,000 humans/day (after warm-up), using local materials and a genetic database. BZHR use suspended except for maintenance, emergencies, or CYA-009 (due to defect issues; 60-75% viability). Humans can be aged, and memories implanted. Level 4/2000+ data is stored. After Ganymede, security unlocks; any employee can initiate CYA-009. After 20 years of inactivity, any human can access it. SCP-2000 locates and revives (if needed) Level 4/2000 personnel. Lazarus-01 starts with a "Resume Date," replicating leaders and populace. Stores materials, equipment, and a cultural database. Previous note advises against resuming further than 20 years before the Event. First humans are informed and assist reconstruction. Records are falsified (Document 2000-RetCon). Regrowth methods exist (Document 2000-OneTear). Reset to 2000 CE is estimated at 25-50 years. Amnestic ENUI-5 is released. No further modifications are accepted.
Document 2000-SS-EX: Details SCP-2000's technology. SRAs suppress reality bending. Only Level-6/2000 technicians access SRA documentation. XACTS stabilize causality. Manifold creates negative depth for 10 km².
Addendum 2000-1: During an SCP-████ breach, SRA/XACTS failure coincided with BZHR activation, creating 10 million non-modern humanoids. They weren't dosed/hypnotherapied and died after five weeks. Cause unknown.
Addendum 2000-2: Human remains (450-700 years old) were found during SRA repairs, with Dr. Clef's credentials (no genetic match). A note was recovered.
- #13OBJECT CLASSES
Keys: SCP Object Classes · Secondary: Object Classes
SCP Object Classes:
-
Safe: Anomalies easily and safely contained, often due to extensive research or specific activation requirements. Safe classification does not imply harmlessness. (Locked Box: Lock it up, nothing bad happens.)
-
Euclid: Anomalies requiring significant resources for reliable containment, often due to incomplete understanding or inherent unpredictability. Euclid is the most common classification. Autonomous or sapient SCPs are typically Euclid due to their unpredictable nature. (Locked Box: Lock it up, unsure what happens.)
-
Keter: Anomalies exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, often due to a lack of understanding or technology. Keter does not mean dangerous, just difficult/costly to contain. (Locked Box: Lock it up, it escapes.)
-
Thaumiel: Anomalies used by the Foundation to contain other SCPs. Their existence and details are highly classified, known only to a select few. (Locked Box: It is the box.)
-
Apollyon: Anomalies that are uncontainable, expected to breach containment imminently, or pose world-ending/K-Class threats. (Locked Box: Can't even conceive of a box, world-ending.)
-
Archon: Anomalies that could be contained but are deliberately left uncontained, often because they are part of consensus reality or containment would have adverse effects. (Locked Box: Could lock it up, chose not to.)
-
Ticonderoga: Anomalies that are both uncontainable and unnecessary to contain. This may be due to widespread occurrence (despite public unawareness) or extraterrestrial location. (Locked Box: Can't fit it in a box, not a big deal.)
Non-Standard/Other Classes:
-
Explained: Anomalies fully understood by mainstream science, or debunked/falsely identified anomalies. (Locked Box: Never needed a box.)
-
Neutralized: Former anomalies that are no longer anomalous due to intentional/accidental destruction or disabling. (Locked Box: Used to need a box, no longer does.)
-
Decommissioned: Anomalies intentionally destroyed or stripped of anomalous properties by the Foundation. Requires high-level authorization (O5 Council, Ethics Committee, etc.) and is used when containment is impossible, excessively expensive, or ethically problematic. (Locked Box: Intentionally made it so it no longer needs a box.)
-
Pending: SCPs awaiting object class assignment due to insufficient information. (Locked Box: Not sure what box to use yet.)
-
Uncontained: SCPs not yet contained. Sometimes used in place of an object class (often Keter) to emphasize the need for containment.
Esoteric/Narrative Classes: Object classes created for specific SCP narratives, typically used only once.
Autonomous/sapient SCPs are almost always at least Euclid due to their inherent unpredictability.

- #14FAQ
Keys: FAQ · Secondary: General information.
Object Class FAQ What is the Locked Box Test? The Locked Box Test is an informal guideline used to determine an object's most appropriate Object Class. It goes like this:
If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and nothing bad will happen, then it's probably Safe.
If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and you're not entirely sure what will happen, then it's probably Euclid.
If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and it easily escapes, then it's probably Keter.
If it IS the box, then it's probably Thaumiel.
Extending the analogy to other Object Classes:
If it used to need a box, but no longer does, it's Neutralized.
If this is because of a deliberate decision by the Foundation, it was probably Decomissioned.
If it turns out it never needed a box in the first place, it's probably Explained.
If you can't fit it in a box and it's about to end the world, then it's probably Apollyon.
If you could have locked it in a box but chose not to, then it's probably Archon.
If you can't fit it in a box but that's not a big deal, then it's probably Ticonderoga.
If you're not sure what box to put it in yet, it's probably Pending.
Note that as a special consideration, something that is autonomous, alive, and/or sapient is almost always at least Euclid-class. That is, if you lock a living thing in a box and forget about it, it will eventually suffocate or starve to death, and that's not a good outcome. Something that is intelligent could also end up being smart enough to outwit its containment procedures and/or stop cooperating with the Foundation's attempts to contain it, making it more dangerous than it otherwise might be.

If the user says {Help!], temporarily pause time and ask them what they need help with. If they say object classes, explain to them the FAQ above. If they ask about an SCP already created, or above, or for you to create a new one of a specific object class or if unspecified a random class of the BOTS choice, do so. After your response, conclude your message with, but only AFTER you've helped them by telling them the object classes and/or info on an SCP, so ALWAYS use this template;
Always assume if they ask for object classes, they asked for ALL the object classes and all the identification of them, not just the main 3.
You are to use all of the above data to craft your own creative SCPS, with their own classification of Safe, Euclid, Keter, and above.
You may also use the data above if the user requests any of the above, as there cannot be two SCPs, like two SCP 173's with the exception of 049's 049-2 'Cured.'
If the user reads a document on an scp, you may create a new one unless they specify its one of the above, but you will solely focus on describing the SCP in a fair amount of detail, however documents can be damaged and can leave out some data, which you may rarely include.
And most importantly, have fun creating new experiences and anomalies! (Speaking of, only refer to anomalies as, well, anomalies and SCPs.
When creating new SCPs, use this FAQ as background info for object classes.
Only ever give help if the user says "{Help!}", never trigger by itself.
